Error in Workbook

Hello,
When i am refreshing my workbook instead of getting the variable selection screen i am getting the error message 'Error value 1 for user- exit TP_VERS1 is invalid ' and when i am opening the query designer this variable is not showing under any characteristic. so how do i get the veriable and why i am getting this error?

Hi Anoop,
I think there is so problem with the variable exit.
Try running the query directly in RSRT and chek whether is running fine or not.
Go to CMOD and check the code for any inconsistencies.
If theere are any , correct them and it will sort out the error.
Also please check the variables every thing are available and are not missing.

Excel Services 2010 Error - "The workbook cannot be opened."

I enabled Excel Services and added a Excel Web Access viewer to my page. It's just a simple spreadsheet (which incidentally works fine on my standalone development server) that displays the error "The workbook cannot be opened." when the page loads. The trusted
file locations are set up appropriately. We are using Kerberos authentication.
My event viewer showed this "Critical" event (ID: 3760):
SQL Database 'Prod_WSS_Content' on SQL Server instance 'servername' not found. Additional error information from SQL Server is included below.
Cannot open database "Prod_WSS_Content" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user 'domain\user'.
In other words, the service account that ECS was running under did not have permission to the content database. So I granted the user read permission on the database. Then I got the same error and this "Error" level event in the event viewer (ID: 5617):
There is a compatibility range mismatch between the Web server and database "Prod_WSS_Content", and connections to the data have been blocked to due to this incompatibility. This can happen when a content database has not been upgraded to be within the compatibility
range of the Web server, or if the database has been upgraded to a higher level than the web server. The Web server and the database must be upgraded to the same version and build level to return to compatibility range.
This error is typically associated with 2007 to 2010 upgrades apparently, but I did a fresh 2010 installation on a pristine machine. I gave the ECS service account db_owner permission on the content database. I'm still getting the error "The workbook cannot be opened." I ran the PowerShell commands listed at the bottom of the post, and no change.
What's interesting now, is that nothing at all is showing up in the event
viewer. I wonder if it is because of the statement in the event log that says "connections to the data have been blocked due to this incompatibility." Is there something on the SharePoint server blocking the connection to SQL Server that needs to be reset?

I suggest you to check the following things at first:
1.
What’s the version of the excel file? Excel 2003, Excel 2007 or Excel 2010? Excel Service doesn’t support Excel 2003 and easier version;
2.
Are there some features the Excel Service do not support?

Error saving workbooks

Hi,
I am having an error saving a workbook to a role.
My query is working fine and when i try to save it as a new workbook it returns with the following error.
"Document Store Access Caused Error in SAP correction System"
There is already a workbook based on this query but i had to change the query to do some modifications.
The old workbook doesn't work.
I tried to save the workbook directly in production it didn't work. It didn't let me save the workbook to either role or favourites.
I also tried to save it and assign it to a role in development and then transport it. It was transported but was not assigned to role in production.
I do have all the authorizations.
What might be the problem here?

Hi,
If the users get the message 'Document store access caused errors in the SAP Correction System' the Analyzer is not able to write the information to a transport request. The note 194051 'Transport problem when saving queries' describes possible reasons and solutions.
Also please ensure users have the right authorizations as described in 373979 and 316470.
Further, please check the below setting ?
- RSA1 -> transport connection ->object changeability -> check the object type:XLWB(workbook)
If the setting is 'Not Changeable', please change it 'Everything
Changeable' by right mouse click.

Error Scheduling workbooks

Hi All,
I scheduled a report with granting Create Table,View and Procedure Privileges to the user. But it shows
Error: Isufficient Privileges.
I have also installed DBMS_JOB package
What could be the problem?

all I can suggest is triple checking that...
In the Disco Admin Tool:
Navigate to your 'Business Area'
From the Top Menu:
1) Tools -> Privileges -> Privileges Tab
2) Select the EUL Owner from the drop down list
3) Scroll down the list of privileges and ensure they are all checked... including the 'Schedule Workbooks' option...
Also - when logged into SQL*Plus as the EUL owner - type in the following command at the prompt...
SQL> desc dbms_job
This should return the package header for the DBMS_JOB package and prove that you can see it. Perhaps even check you ave permissions to execute DBMS_JOB...
Otherwise.... sorry - I've run out of ideas...

Hi Asim,
I don't think you can share the results of the scheduled workbook using Desktop. As for Plus, when you're signed on as the other user are you in the same database & eul and are you looking for "scheduled workbooks"?

Error In WorkBook Bex Analyzer : Messages available

Hello Experts,
When i open a Workbook, I have this message in the status bar:
"Messages available; double-click to display them"
When I double click, I have a pop-up window with warning "there is a condition.., results row supress..."
Our client don't want to see the message ""Messages available; double-click to display them", When he opens his workbook.
How can we do this, Please?

Option 1)
Try this - there is an option called "Show messages for problem analysis" in the behavior tab of global settings. try to uncheck that if it is checked.
or
Option 2)
Try Note 1009903 - Suppressing messages for all queries
or
Option 3)
Use tcode RSRT and type in the tcode "SUPPR_ALL" and check all the suppress messages.

Authorization Error Openning WorkBook.....

Hi guys i try to set authorizations to a user for use a workbook of Bex Analyzer and when the user try to load the workbook there´s no in his profile the workbook doesn´t appears.
I used the objects
S_RFC      * * *
S_TCODE    RRMX
S_RS_COMP All Activities, all objects
S_RS_COMP1 03,16 All components , owner *
S_RS_ICUBE * * *
The user doesn´t see any workbook in the list of workbooks to open......
Is necesary to include the workbook in the role or something like that...

   I think you need to maintain the WorkBook from the PFCG into that Role.
1. Select the Work Book ID from the Query Result (go to properties window from Query Result, in the information Tab, you could WorkBook ID.
2. Go to PFCG, provide ur Role Name and go with Change Mode. in the Menu Tab, you could see add report. click that it will ask for Report ID. Provide the WorkBook id. save that.
then ask him logoff and login again.
If he trying to save the workbook in Fovorites, he should have authorization to S_GUI(activity 60) and S_BDC_DS(Activity 03, 30 and Class Type OT).
If he need authorization to save in Role, he should have authorization to S_USER_AGR(Activity 01, 02, 22 at least. for delete Workbook data 06) and S_USER_TCD(TCODE RRMX).

Error while opening the workbook through Oracle EBS

Hi All,
I have created a discoverer report in Production DB instance. I can successfully open and run the report using desktop edition. But the same report cannot be open through Oracle Ebusiness Suite.
It gives the following error
Error opening Workbook named:
The following Item cannot be found:Xx test V.column1Can any one help me to solve this. Any one can tell me what's the cause of this error?

But the same report cannot be open through Oracle Ebusiness Suite.To open it in the ebusiness suite,you need to register the report as a form page and assign a responsibility in ebusiness suite for the end user to open the report.

Error 310 when saving Workbook

Hello everyone,
We updated from version 6 to 7 in SAP GUI and we have now a problem when we want to save a workbook:
<b><internal error> Workbook storage fault: 310</b>
Before updating the GUI it all worked perfectly, but as soon as we updated this error appeared.
We searched all the forum threads related to the problem but we could not find any solution. No authorization problems or virus scan.

Workbook is not Executing in a Role

Hello Experts,
I have created a Workbook in BW3.5 version. My security team were able to assign the workbook to this particular Role called "Sales" in the Dev system. But when I try to execute the workbook, I am getting the following error "The Workbook does not exist in the Document Store". Please advice me to what needs to be done to solve this issue.

Youcan no longer display a workbook. You receive an error message when opening: <Internal error>: 1201 document storage
Cause and prerequisites
In very rare cases, when you store a workbook, you might not be able to open it again.
Solution
Function module BDS_PHIOS_GET_RIGHT has to be changed so that the last available version of the Workbooks can be displayed.

Workbook does not contain any input-ready variables

Hello Experts,
We have one workbook which is not reacting when click on REFRESH or SHOW VARIABLE.
If clicked on VARIABLE screen it is throwing error "The workbook does not contain any input-ready variables" (screenshot attached)
Points I have checked are as below
1. If I create a new workbook by executing the respective query and refresh then it is working.
2. The file is in xls format and I have checked the USE XLS format under Global setting.
3. My Excel version is 2010. SAP version is SAPKW70105. BEx 7.X, support package 8.
4. It is not authorization issue otherwise the issue would have happened for the new workbook I created for testing.
5. Also I tested with user ID with SAP ALL access.
is there any way to repair the workbook so that it respond to Variable and refresh options ?

We have a workbook, it have 1 queries, and when we key in condition to run it, in one field we put on one more condition(Z3XXX = ' WZO' & ' WZA")(User didn't have authorization for this condition), and workbook report no authorization.
Then we checked authorization check log and it show "You do not have sufficient authorization on Z3XXX = ' WCO'.
But when we execute the related query with same condition. the query can open and show WZA's data.
I'd like to know the reason.

The workbook was not saved

Hi,
This problem occurs after a BI upgrade. When I try to change a workbook and save it, I get the error "The workbook was not saved". There are other threads with that issue but no answer has been provided.

Try this, go to RSRT and give your query and in properties change to H. And do all queries which you are using in the workbook. Hope it works.

Workbook is Corrupt

Hi,
I have been working on a BEx workbook that contains about 20 queries. I tried to open it and continue working on it, and I received an error message "Workbook is corrupt and could not be opened". I did not encounter any issues up until the moment I tried re-opening the workbook.
Does anyone know how I can analyse this error, or better yet get around it??

I had the same issue some time ago.
I had to create a new workbook. Now, to avoid this issue I always keep a copy of my workbook, you may have one in sap temp file.
