Regards,
SoahilThis specifically means that the destinations have not been configured in the Crystal Job Server. If you're running 4.x, this may be part of the "Adaptive Job Server" instead of or in addition to a Crystal Job Server. If you're using 3.1 or earlier, you'll also have to set up the destination in the Destination Job Server.
You'll have to log in to the CMC, go to Servers, right-click on the correct job server and go to "Destinations". You'll then add something like "File" or "Unmanaged Disk" to the available destinations and save. Stop the job server, start it again, and your error should go away.
Please be aware that unless you're using specific credentials to schedule the report or you're saving to the server where BO is installed, you'll need to make sure that the BO services are running under a network "Services" account that has access to the folder you're scheduling the report to. By default during installation it's set to run under the "Local Services" account that doesn't have access to the network.

Thanks, Ted U -
Dear Sir or Madam,
I have been experimenting with the evaluation version of WS2012e trying to get the installation and subsequent build into an optimal set up, and once I have everything I want it to do mapped out, I'll set it up with the full version with using the key that
I bought.
However, I've noticed that the server seems to experience a delay during cold boot - it sits with a Please Wait screen for about 60-90 seconds before it presents the screen with an option to Log on. I have also discovered from running Health
Report, that there are some entries in the event logs which appear to coincide with start up times, and which seem to be interconnected to each other in the issues they are describing, and I have copied an example of one of those health reports below.
I assume that everything sorts itself out in due course, because the events say the process will be re-attempted and these errors don't repeat again after the system has booted up. I also have the server set to suspend when not in use with the Lights
Out add in, so it shouldn't need to cold boot often - but I wondered if there's a way to correct these errors so that they don't hold up the boot up process? I'm also concerned that these errors will cause me later problems with storage pools and
the like at a later date - the disk replication one seems particularly worrying. Alternatively, are these errors just a normal part of the start up process - the timing of when different processes start relative to each other - and can be safely ignored?
In trying to understand what the events describe, I thought that WE2012e acted as its own Domain Controller, and yet it seems from the event log entries that it is waiting for another server to respond to AD / DC requests (but there isn't another server
on my home network). The other thing I remember from when I first tried out WS2012e, is that it took control of DHCP or DNS from the router, and I found that frustrating when waking up my laptop and it wouldn't connect to the internet until the server
had fully booted up and re-asserted its network settings. Is this another symptom of the same problem? I remember seeing a posting at the SBS Diva's site about how to update the server so that it gave connected PCs a backup option for connecting
to the internet when the server wasn't available, and was going to try to find that again to see if that helped.
By way of background - there isn't another server in my home network. This is an attempt to do a clean install onto the same hardware that I ran the initial trial of WS2012e, now that the trial has expired, so I'm not trying to migrate from an existing
server. I moved all the data on the trial server off onto an external disk, with the intention of importing it back once I had the Storage Pools set up the way I wanted on the new build, and since I didn't want to keep anything else about the server
trial. Am I correct in thinking that I don't need to go down the Migration route during installation, and can go through a Clean install in this circumstance?
I'm running on an Asus P8-H77-i motherboard, with an i5-3470s CPU and 16MB RAM, and I have WS2012e installed on 256Mb SSD formatted under GPT with uEFI boot - the latter being the main reason for the reinstall, instead of just giving the Evaluation
version the new key on the original MBR set up. I've also enabled Intel Rapid Storage and Rapid Start - and successfully set aside the hibernate partition on the SSD - but discovered that this is about forcing a hibernate after suspend, allowing
the system to power down until its needed again, and then resuming from hibernate on the SSD rather than cold boot each time. That seems to work, but doesn't improve the cold boot times at all, which was what I was hoping for - ideally the way my
laptop will boot from cold in a few seconds into Windows 8.
Yours faithfully,
Avon

Event ID: 3221226674
The DFS Replication service failed to contact domain controller to access
configuration information. Replication is stopped. The service will try again
during the next configuration polling cycle, which will occur in 60 minutes.
This event can be caused by TCP/IP connectivity, firewall, Active Directory
Domain Services, or DNS issues.

Event ID: 2147487661
The DNS server is waiting for Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) to signal that the initial synchronization of the directory has been completed. The DNS server service cannot start until the initial synchronization is complete because critical DNS
data might not yet be replicated onto this domain controller. If events in the AD DS event log indicate that there is a problem with DNS name resolution, consider adding the IP address of another DNS server for this domain to the DNS server list in the Internet
Protocol properties of this computer. This event will be logged every two minutes until AD DS has signaled that the initial synchronization has successfully completed.

The security of this directory server can be significantly enhanced by configuring the server to reject SASL (Negotiate,
Kerberos, NTLM, or Digest) LDAP binds that do not request signing (integrity verification) and LDAP simple binds that
are performed on a cleartext (non-SSL/TLS-encrypted) connection. Even if no clients are using such binds,
configuring the server to reject them will improve the security of this server.
Some clients may currently be relying on unsigned SASL binds or LDAP simple binds over a non-SSL/TLS connection,
and will stop working if this configuration change is made. To assist in identifying these clients, if such binds occur this
directory server will log a summary event once every 24 hours indicating how many such binds
occurred. You are encouraged to configure those clients to not use such binds. Once no such events are observed
for an extended period, it is recommended that you configure the server to reject such binds.
For more details and information on how to make this configuration change to the server, please see http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=87923.
You can enable additional logging to log an event each time a client makes such a bind, including
information on which client made the bind. To do so, please raise the setting for the "LDAP Interface Events" event logging category
to level 2 or higher.

=======Hi KerguelanAvon,
Based on your description, it seems to be hard to narrow down the cause of this issue. Please refer to following operations and monitor the result. It may help us to go further, and then solve this issue.
1. Please refer to the following article and troubleshoot slow boot.
New Slow Logon, Slow Boot Troubleshooting Content
2. On your server 2012 essentials, please start a BPA scan and fix all that it can find, then monitor the result.
Regarding to those critical Errors in Health Report, please perform
Dcdiag on the server. Meanwhile, please refer to the following article and troubleshoot network connectivity, firewall setting and AD DS issue.
DFSR Event 1202 (DFS Replication)
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Justin Gu
Hi Justin,
I'm reading through the links you referred me to but it's taking a while. In the meantime I tried running BPA as you suggested. I'm sure when I ran it before, it didn't say much beyond 81 checks completed, and I couldn't find a way to get any
more detail.
Now it says
Problem:
The DNS client is not configured to point only to the internal IP address of the server.
Impact:
If the DNS client is not configured to point only to the internal IP address of the server, DNS name resolution can fail.
Resolution:
To resolve this problem:
1. From the client computer, open the Properties page for the network connection.
2. Make sure that DNS is configured to point only to the internal IP address of the server.
Except that it is.

Crystal Reports 2008 Server Error when viewing report
Hello All,
I have loaded a CR 2008 report onto the CR 2008 Server. When I view the report from InfoView or CMC, I get the following error message:
Error in File <report name>: Unknown Database Connector Error .
I setup the ODBC datasources on the server as they are on my client PC where the Report originally worked. Are the ODBC datasource connections supposed to copy over with the report? Or do I have to manually enter them into the "Database Configuration" section?
Thank you in advance.1212487 - Error: "CRAXDRT Error Occured on Server. Error Number:-2147221005"
Symptom
A report is called through the Active Server Pages (ASP) Report Server to be displayed in the Report Viewer for ActiveX. However, the report is displayed with blank pages and when the viewer is switched to the Report Viewer for HTML the following error is displayed:
"CRAXDRT Error Occurred on Server. Error Number:-2147221005 Error Description: 006ASP 0177 Server.CreateObject Failed~Invalid Class String"
The same ASP application returns the report correctly when it is called from a client computer with the full version of Crystal Report 8 Developer Edition installed.
Resolution
It was found that the file, Emfgen.dll, was not installed and registered on the web server computer during the installation of the Crystal Reports ASP Reports Server. The report could be displayed correctly on the client computer, without Crystal Reports Developer Edition installed, after this file had been installed on the web server computer.

Error in File (report server\ report.rpt): Database Connector Error
New installation of XI R2 - using Crystal Reports Version 11.5.8.826 for developement against Oracle DB.
Currently have around 20 reports running on XI (need to import ~1500 reports from Crystal Enterprise 10, but waiting to resolve this issue)
Some reports sometimes (not always) get the following error:
Error in File (report server\ report.rpt): Database Connector Error
If the report is re-scheduled, report will sometime run fine and sometimes gets the same error again.
There seems to be no logical way to determine which parameters will cause the report to fail or when.
I'm experiencing the problem on about 3 reports only - All against the same DB and only occassionally. These 20 reports were developed with CR XI and all run against the same Oracle DB.I've got the same problem- the reports run fine in Crystal, but sometimes (not everytime) they fail in InfoView with "Database Connector Error" message. My report doesn't contain any data, just 8 sets of 4 subreports in different footer sections, which each connect to a different stored procedure. The report is to help with our server checks: we have a set of 4 different stored procedures which run on each of 8 different servers making 32 different SPs and there is a subreport in this report for each.
It does seem to be random whether this problem occurs or not- I have scheduled the report to run regularly (1 recurring instance) and sometime it works, sometimes not, but always the same failure message. I have increased the success rate by allowing the report to re-try on failure, but this does take time, and isn't really curing the problem.
I wonder whether this error could be caused by a delay in one of the SPs returning its data, and the report timing out since no data is being returned. Would anyone know whether this is likely to be the cause, and if so how to fix it? Or any suggestions what else it could be?
Thanks,
Tom -
Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly...
I utilizing VS.Net and I'm deploying a project to my client machines. The XP client machines execute the code just fine but I get two general errors when I try to run the app on a Vista Business machine.
1) Crystal Reports Basic Runtime for Visual Studio 2008
Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly.
'Microsoft.VC90.ATL.version="9.0.21009.1.publicKey="1fc8b9a1e18e3b:.processorArchitecture="x86".type="win32'"
Please refer to Help and Support for more information.
2) The other error happens when I actually run the app and its in InnerException error.
Things that I found on the web discuss adding merge modules to VS but I can't find where to reference that info. Are there any other ideas out there.
Thanks-
JLNHello,
Good Day!
I'm having a nasty problem that remains unresolved for the last four weeks now - I'm trying to install CR2008 on a brand new Dell laptop /w 64-bit OS Windows 7 with a T4300 dual core processor (2.1Gz). As far as I can see SP1 or SP2 are not installed. However, I see MS WSE 2.0 SP3 Runtime installed.
During installation of CR 2008 the error message as follows shows up -
Error 1935: An error occured during the installation of assembly component {303994BA-6487-47AE-AF1D-7AF6088EEBDB}
HRESULT: 0X80070002
As a result of this error the installation terminates and the rollback begins (I assume it completely removes the components that it attempted to install so far.
The laptop has the following significant software applications -
Microsoft SQL server 2005, SQL server Native Client, MS VisualBasic 2005 & 2008, C++, MS Visual Studio 2005 Remote Debugger & Windows SDK for Visual Studio 2008 - just in case there are any known conflicts or problems.
Are there any 'leads' I can follow to successfully conclude this installation.
Thanks for your time.

I am running into the below issue. I am installing FIM 2010 R2 SP1 Reporting with SCSM 2012 [SCSM successfully installed].
FIM R2 Reporting installation is failing with both Wizard and Command line.
Command line captures below error: Can some one help on this?
Calling custom action Microsoft.IdentityManagement.SharePointCustomActions!Microsoft.IdentityManagement.ManagedCustomActions.SharepointCustomActions.DoesWebsiteOrSolutionPackExist
Property name = 'SHAREPOINT_URL', value = 'http://myurl.
Property name = 'UILevel', value = '2'.
CustomAction CheckFIMWebSiteorSolutionPackExisting returned actual error code 1603 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)
Action ended 0:27:20: CheckFIMWebSiteorSolutionPackExisting. Return value 3.
Action ended 0:27:20: INSTALL. Return value 3.

Though we use SCSM 2012, the FIM 2010 Reporting (R2 SP1) installation throws the alert to run
KB2561430 hotfix (when run throght console) and above error (when run through commnad line). This is actually a bug and MS have fixed that in one of its FIM hotfix rollup. I could move out of the above error by applying the FIM hotfix mentioned
in the below link.
