Error in XPRA_EXECUTION phase in instalation BI_CONT 3.53

Hello,
After installing SAP Netweaver 04 as ABAP i am Installing Add-on
BI_CONT Rel.353 : Import of the queue -
via SAINT Tcode.
Now it is in error in XPRA_EXECUTION Phase of pkg
SAPKIBIFQ4 BI_CONT 353: patch 0014.
Error is in Method Execution step:
InfoObject 0GRC_CSEOWR, version D being deleted, (basic char. not
found)
Start of the after-import method for object type R3TR DTMP ( )
Errors occurred during post-handling RS_AFTER_IMPORT_D for DUPD L
RS_AFTER_IMPORT_D belongs to package RS
The errors affect the following components:
BW-WHM (Warehouse Management)
Post-import method RS_AFTER_IMPORT_D completed for DUPD L, date and
time: 20080103122305
Pls help me ASAP to resolve this error.

I solved this problem after implementing
Note 1083886 - Method IF_FDT_EXPRESSION~IS_GENERATING is not implemented.
is thsi dosent work try restarting the queue again.

Did u check is there any dependencies of Solman support packages with other support pakckages.
Object type 'BUS2174' could not be generated it seems there is a issues with dependencies only.
Please check the stack guide once then u will come to know all the dependencies.

Error in XPRA_EXECUTION PHASE on SAINT transacction installing BPC 7.5

Hi
I am installing Bussines Planning & Consolidation 7.5 on an Netweaver 7.01 with EHP1 (enhacement package 1) system but when I used SAINT transacction to install the ADDON for this ABAP component . First I received a message about some "conficts" between some ADDOns so I had to applied an CRT (confict resolution transport) support package to resolve the issue
But the saint transacction stopped on the XPRA_EXECUTION phase and the log message talk about some "BC-SRV-NUM" (number Range Managment) in some table values conteined invalid key number range object values
I found the 1467470 note to fix the issue , I tried to use SNOTE to implemented it but can not be implemented.
Can someone help give me some advices to this issue?

I understand your issue because the installation guide is not enough clear.
Look
1) Once you installed the ADD-ON CPMBPC on ABAP and follow the installation guide
You have to create on ABAP tier 3 communications data users (user,admin, sysadmin) like guide says and at the end of it , you have to run UJA3_WRITE_SYS_USERS program on se38 and write:
domain windows or local group windows\bpc_user --> for example GGBIDBPC\bpc_user
domain windows or local group windows\ bpc_admin --> GGBIDBPC\bpc_admin
domain windows or local group windows\bpc_sysadmin --> GGBIDBPC\bpc_sysadmin
you should use Domain windows to ensure security environment about users like password or expiration rules
2) On .NET tier when your are installing the BPC Server you have to entry at first time just one user (sysadmin) using the same format:
Domain or local group windows\bpc_sysadmin --> GGBIDBPC\bpc_sysadmin
later you will prompt on next screens enter the System Administrator, Administrator, and User (user IDs), together with their passwords that were created on step 1.
The reality is just sysadmin user is used to BPC configuration on ABAP and .NET tiers

Spam error in xpra_execution phase

hello experts,
         I am applying SAP BASIS PATCH (SAPKB70011) , I got stuck in EPRA_EXECUTION phase.
         It is going on running for more then 10 hours.
         i had restarted the import but still it is showing the same status.
         it is not writing any logs, I checked in SM50 it shows ON HOLD reason RFC, report SAPLSTPA.
         when i checked in SM66 it says CPIC STOPPED.
        I had even tried importing the patch in FOREGROUND, but in status bar it shows "TP BUFFER PREPARED OK " and going on running.
        unable to resolve the issue.
any suggestions

Hi,
Best thing is to raise an oss messasge to SAP,while applying support packages you should not play around.
I think you are applying on a windows system on you would be on oracle 10g or higher version,some of my friend faced the same probelm SAP has suggested to change some memory parameters which i am not very sure.

XPRA_EXECUTION terminates due to the following reasons:
○       TP_INTERFACE_FAILURE: The tp interface could not be called.
○       TP_FAILURE: The tp program could not be executed. For more information, read the SLOG or ALOG log files.
○       TP_STEP_FAILURE: tp step XPRA_EXECUTION could not be performed successfully. To find the cause of the error, read the method execution log. To view the cause of the error in the log, choose Goto ® Log ® Queue.
○       CANNOT_READ_BUFFER: The tp program could not open the corresponding buffer file. For more information, read the SLOG log file.
○       CANNOT_MODIFY_BUFFER: The tp program could not change the corresponding buffer file. For more information, read the SLOG log file.

Alternately, you have to follow the following steps:
unlock the shadow instance (cd /usr/sap/put/bin && ./SAPup unlockshd)
logon as DDIC
copy DDIC to a different user
logon with the other user
start transaction SE06 and make the system "changable"
start transaction OSS1 -> Technical settings - Change - Save
use SNOTE
Apply SAP Note 1153235.

1. Did you select java path (Export CD/DVD) while intsallation? Check once again.
2. Add JAVA_HOME = Java path in environment variable.

We chose "Typical" for the installation type and sapisnt chose port
1527 for the Oracle listener port by default. We are installing JDQ on
a server where other SAP instances are already installed.
Unfortunately, port 1527 is already in use by one of the other SAP
systems for its Oracle listener. We have tried the following to
resolve the error:
1) Changed listener port for JDQ
a. Changed the following files for JDQ to use port 1530 instead of
1527:
$ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/listener.ora
$ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/tnsnames.ora
/sapmnt/JDQ/profile/oracle/tnsnames.ora
b. Restarted the JDQ database and listener, then clicked Retry
c. Did not work. Exited and restarted the install, but this did
not work, either.
2) Changed listener name for JDQ
a. Changed the following files for JDQ to use listener
name "LISTENER_JDQ" instead of the default name of "LISTENER":
$ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/listener.ora
b. Restarted the JDQ database and listener, then clicked Retry
c. Did not work. Exited and restarted the install, but this did
not work, either.
d. Changed the listener name back to "LISTENER" and restarted the
DB and listener
3) Changed installation files containing port 1527
It looks like the installation saves the input parameters in files in
the instllation directory. After we changed the JDQ environment to use
the 1530 port, we thought maybe the install was getting 1527 from one
of the installation files. Therefore we tried the following:
a. Used command "find . -xdev -type f -exec grep -l -w 1527 {} \;"
to obtain a list of files containing port 1527.
b. Backed up these files
c. Edited these files, changing 1527 to 1530. Files modified
include the following:
control.xml
inifile.2.xml
inifile.3.xml
inifile.xml
keydb.2.xml
keydb.xml
summary.html
d. Clicked Retry, but still got the error
e. Exited the installlation and restarted it. We are still
getting the error.
4) I know that for Java systems, the listener port is stored in the
Secure Store. The SecStore.key and SecStore.properties files have been
installed in directory /usr/sap/JDQ/SYS/global/security/data; however,
configtool does not yet exist under /usr/sap/JDQ/J01; therefore I
cannot see whether port 1527 has been placed in the Secure Store.
Therefore, we did not take any action here.
What do we need to do to resolve the error?

ended with return code 0008 while implementing the sapkb70012 patch for SAP_BASIS in ECC system.
SPAM is hangs XPRA_EXECUTION Phase.I see in status of Support Package :The import was stopped, since an error occurred.
Error in phase - XPRA_EXECUTION
Reason for error - TP_STEP_FAILURE
Return code - 0008
Error message - OCS package SAPKB70012, tp step R, return code 0008.
Could please Advise the Solution for the issue.

I have installed BI_CONT add-on when it was under development phase but now it has been completed.Now I want to install the completed Add-on.

I have installaed BI_BONT 7.0.2 which was still under SAP development for some bug fixing and not yet released to customer.I have installed this add-on on one of the internal SAP servers. Now the customer is facing problems with some objects in the BI_CONT. After discussing with few colleagues in Germany, It was decided to re-install the BI_CONT 7.0.2 Add-On, which is now released to the customer.
I tried to install the BI_CONT 7.0.2 add-on again, but it says Add-on is already installed .Thus it does not allow me do re-install the same ADD-ON again.
Hope the problem is clear now. Kindly provide some solution for it.

Error Messages when trying to install, uninstall or run iTunes 9

I get the following error message when trying to Install iTunes:
The path C:\DOCUME~1\Frank\LOCALS~1\Temp\IXP206.TMP\iTunes.msi cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'iTunes.msi' in a folder from which you can install the product iTunes.
I search my entire computer for the file but it's not there.
Then, when I try to uninstall the iTunes and start the install from scratch I get another error:
"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable"
Catch-22, I can't install or uninstall and when I try to run iTunes I get:
"The action is only valid for products that are installed"
Very frustrating but I'm stumped and I don't know how to proceed. Any help would be very much appreciated.

wooooooooo!!! got it working again!! having spent the last 6 hours..no joke six f*cking hours trying to sort it ive finally got iTunes back!!
ok here is what you need to do:
go to the link below and download the Microsoft Windows Installer CleanUp Facility.

once you have downloaded it, install it and run it from the start menu. once its up and running remove everything to do with iTunes (so iTunes itself, quicktime, bonjour......the lot). Dont worry about removing iTunes completely, all the music is still there when it works again trust me!!
ok once you have removed everything restart your computer, im not sure if this is a must but i did it.
next download quicktime from the apple website (go to the 'downloads' tab near the top. download and install quicktime and restart your computer so the new settings are put in to place ( i think it asks you to restart anyway).
go back to the apple website, 'downloads' tab and download iTunes itself. install that bad boy and you will be up and running with all your library intact!

The issue was taken to SAP development security team :::Below is the weird issue ::
Firstly ,for the authorizations to work correctly, all authorization tables must be in a consistent state as below :
ust04, ust10c, ust10s, ust12, usrbf2, usrbf3.
If we want to maintain authorizations, also usr04, usr10, usr12 are required.
But here , a mismatch of tables usrbf2 and usrbf3 in 2 instances are the reason for the stuck in the upgrade :::

Error during upgrade phase JOB_RSUPGCUA_SHD

We are in the process of completing a combined ERP 6.0 Upgrade / Unicode Conversion. Our starting release is ECC 5.0 (ABAP only) and we are running Oracle 10.2.0.2 on AIX 5.3.

We originally had some issues with the shadow system not starting in phase START_SHDI_FIRST. The source of the problem was the value of paramter ipc/shm_psize_40 in the instance profile of the shadow system. When we ran "sappfpar check" on the profile, the output indicated that the paramter was too small. We backed up the profile, increased the parameter to the value "sappfpar check" recommended and then stopped the shadow system via "SAPup stopshd." We then repeated the phase. The shadow instance was started successfully and the upgrade proceeded with subsequent phases.
We encountered the error above several phases later. The shadow instance is started and I am able to login with user DDIC. As detailed in the error message above, function module SUBST_START_BATCHJOB is aborting with error code 10. Based on what I can interpret from source code of the function module, this seems to indicate that there is a problem with the program values. The SM21 log indicates that "Program name RSUPGCUAGEN111 is invalid."
What do we need to do to get past this error?

for our case it was that the shadow instance was not completely stsarted, some processes were down, cause the ipc pool 40 was too small, i found the error in the killed work processes.
Probleme resolved as susch. i hope it will help someone.

Currently I am upgrading SCM system with Support pack level 12 to 20 . When i am applying Basis 12 to 20. I got an error in Import_Proper phase.

     Function module "POSS_UIREQ_OPT_SUBMIT" not found.
What happened?
     The function module "POSS_UIREQ_OPT_SUBMIT" is called,
     but cannot be found in the library.
     Error in the ABAP Application Program
     The current ABAP program "SAPLSTXC" had to be terminated because it has
     come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Error analysis
     An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
     The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_FUNC', was
      not caught in
     procedure "OPEN_FORM" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.
     Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
     exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
     The reason for the exception is:
     The program "SAPLSTXC" contains the CALL FUNCTION statement.
     The name of the function module to be called is "POSS_UIREQ_OPT_SUBMIT".
     No function module exists with the name "POSS_UIREQ_OPT_SUBMIT".
     All function modules are listed in the Function Library (SE37).
Possible reasons:
a) Wrong name specified. Pay particular attenti
    upper/lower case and underscores ("_").
    or
b) Transport error
c) In the case of an enqueue/dequeue module,
    the lock object may not have been activated
    (ABAP/4 Dictionary).
When i tried to check function module it is not there..
Could you please help on this?

This is not the first time I get it, and it seems a recurring problem.
