when I try to buy products I'm getting the following error when going to checkout:
Error in Your Order
The account was registered for a different country. Please sign out and sign in using an existing account for this country.
how do fix it?

go to upgrade and this is hwat it says. I have been online to check out oters answers and have tried everything suggest and still no good. i did just get a letter saying my information had been illegally found by someone. Can they ahve changed my settings without me knowing it.

While attempting to check out, ERROR states "Account registered for different country. Please sign out and sign in using an existing account for this country." I started my account in India. Then changed it to the US when I moved here, then tried to change it back to india when this issue arose, however, the error still occurs. How can I fix this??
I think a new account may be the easiest way if you don't have an existing subscription or cloud files for which to keep continuity.

I am getting this message sandbox environment error no test user account, when downloading any application from iTunes, friend told me to sign out and sign in iTunes it might solve the problem , and i triyed it but still I cannot login I to my itune account. My IMessage says my sign in is incorrect, but then I go to the App Store sign out and sign back in and it works perfectly fine. I really need IMessage because I have a flip Phone which is so hard to text on so I like to use IMessage. Somebody please help me;(

I cannot update my apps in the app store because it asks me to sign in using an incorrect username account. The username in settings-general-apps is correct and the username on the App store page is correct. The only place it is incorrect is when I try to update my apps. How do I update the username when trying to update apps?
I had the same thing happen today on my wife's phone. I couldn't find any answers on the support site and of course I could not get any help from Apple since my phone was old. I kept digging and figured out how to fix the problem. I opened the app store app and signed out of the old id and then signed back in using my new id. It looks like this may have fixed the problem.

I have just subscribed to iTunes Match, and get the above error message. I have signed out and signed in several times, and still get the same message. Can anyone help with a solution?
I have Just upgraded my mac from Itunes 11.0 to itunes 11.02, this issue occured within hours of the updated.
It seems to occur about every couple of hours for me, I can still access the apple store, but music match just dies with the message: "iTunes Match has encountered an error. Please choose Sign Out and then Sign In from the Store menu and try again."
As it takes a good ten minuites for itunes
If this is also occuring in Itunes 11, the previous Discussions are probably not relevant.
Itunes 11 has had significant changes applied, so it would be reasoble to assume this is not the same fault and Apple have some how broken Itunes again.
I might try to downgrade to itunes 11.0, as it looks like music match faults are not high on apples priorities, it looks like took them almost a year to fix this fault last time it occured. -
Hello - I live in the UAE and my itunes account is regsitered here. Unfortunately the choice of music is not as good as when my account was registered in the UK. I cannot register my account in the UK as my bank details are all in the UAE now. HELP!
Sorry, but no help is possible. You can only use the UAE iTunes Store, and Apple can only offer what content they are able to license for sale in that country. You'll have to look elsewhere for content. Whether there are any other download stores able to sell in the UAE I don't know. You may need to purchased CDs and import them into iTunes.
