Error installing Adobe Flash on IMAC

Having issues not downloading the file, but installing it, it errors out. Will not install no matter what. I have an IMAC all in one w/updated software. My browser takes forever to load if at all, asking for this program.

Error Installing Adobe Flash player

During the install of Adobe Flash Player, I get the Msg" "The ActiveX control for Flash Player could not be registered". I have been through all the help screens and have uninstalled (Successfully, according to the msg I get) and rebooted several times. I am using Windows XP, Internet Explorer 8.0. According to instructions, I should not have to run the MS-supplied registry routine if I used the latest versions of the uninstall routines, which I did. Anyone have any info on this?

Are you running the installer as Administrator?

Not sure what you mean by this - SubInACL? If you did run the installer as Administrator and it still fails, then you may need to perform http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/494/cpsid_49419.html

When you uninstall and reinstall, it is always worth running the Cleaner Tool in between.

Error code 1605 when installing Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX 11.9.900.152

Hi there everyone, this is my first post over here.
I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find a 1605 error code linked with Adobe Flash.
I'm working on a project to fix Adobe Flash installation failures. The current error i'm stuck on is 1605
The installs and uninstalls are already packaged, i only have around 5 failures so far, we have many successful installtions so I know the package isn't corrupt.

I see a differen't product code getting removed on other machines and that's prob because they had a different version of flash installed.
I was however able to install adobe flash versions 11.8 and below successfully, it's just versions 11.9 that fail.
Any advice will be greately appreciated, thanks

Hey the cleanup method didn't work.
However, i could get the latest flash installed without the package, for some reason it keeps failing with the package. Version 11.8 and under installs with the package.
I know the package works because we've used the same package for thousands of other machines and they've worked.
This is an interestin issue

Flash Player is no longer supported on OS X 10.5.8. The last version to support OS X 10.5.8 is Flash Player 10.3. Flash Player 10.3 is available for download from this page: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html.

Using windows 8 install adobe flash player. Immeadiateley on start up I get error msg : 0x71090000

using windows 8 install adobe flash player(new notebook). Immeadiateley on start up I get error msg : the instructions at 0x71090000 referenced memory at 0x71090000. the memory could not be written. click to terminate program.
No matter what I do, the error msg keeps opening a dialog box with the above msg. The only way I found to get rid of the error msg is to uninstall the flash player program. I have tried several times to install and it doesn't work.
I found that I am unable to listen to internet radio, web pages pop up flash error msg.
Any help.

I have administrative prviledges.
I obtained the latest version from the Adobe website.
When I double click on the .dmg file I receive a message that I need to close open browsers which I do.
Then I get a message stating that Adobe will be installed when I reopen browers.
Finally when I check the Applications folder I find a file titled: Install Adobe Flash Player.
This same application is shown in the dock.
When I click in the file in either the Applications folder or the dock, the complete installation process starts again.
Any suggestions?

1. Install Adobe Flash Player.
    http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
    Follow the prompts.   Quit Safari.
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Allow Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security
    Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins"
    Enable it.
    Press " Manage Website Settings" button for more options.
