Error installing application disc

i just received a new application install disc and mac ox x install dvd. When i try to install the application cd i keep getting a error message and to try again. Is there a way to fix this. Thanks

Can't install itunes on mac!! error installing application!

I can't seem to install itunes. when the software updated my itunes, it was screwed up. the screen was white and u couldn't see the playlist and during the software update it said that there was an error in installing the itunes upgrade or something. soo i've deleted all my files and trried to install it back but it wont allow me i constantly get the "error installing application" message. please help! should i jsut send it back and explain to them what happened. i still have to send it back either way because i get the random shutdowns. Also, i used the mac os install discs and after that i kept getting a message saying something about the not enough memory and stuff like that.

i tried doing that but it still won't work. i completely moved it from the computer. there's another itunes.pkg file so i dont know if i should remove that as well.

Error installing Application server on Red Hat 8

I am trying to install Application Server but I cant because I get an error message saying the following:

Where all are you using hibernate files?
As a workaround reset/restart all the instances and check if it works.
Also, clear the cache and tmp for weblogic server and give a try.

I had the exact same problem on 11g. I tried several installs and cleaned up after each failed attempt...
I ended up installing 3.1 and then running the patch for 3.1.2 which seems to have worked.... the FULL install of 3.1.2 has some script errors and would NOT install "fresh".
I'm still having configuration issues though... XDB asks for a password, and then I get a URL doesn't exist ....

Error Installing Application, Application Not Found

Purchased nine applications. Four install. Five do not. Same error message on the five that do not install:
"The Application "whatever" Cannot Be Installed on iPhone "whatever" because the Application Cannot be Found"
All nine applications are shown in iTunes in the Applications Folder.
Any ideas?

Error Installing + Applications Closes Suddenly

Yesterday, I don't know what happened, but:
1. I kept getting the message: "The application _____ quit unexpectedly" for applications like Chess, Mac Help, etc. They would open and then quit itself, or some of them wouldn't even open up at all. This message popped up either way.
2. I cannot install "Essentials.pkg." The error message pops up and says something like "Error, Please try installing it again."
3. In my dashboard, one widget that came with my macbook pro, the translation one, is acting weird. I cannot type in the textbox and it refuses to let me choose the language. There is a thin strip or grey underneath it. (I don't know if it's relevant or not, but it has never been there before.)
4. Files like ".psd" could not open when I click on them on the Desktop. I have to go into Photoshop and open it manually.
I tried to delete applications and reinstall them, but that did not work. I hope this is right category to post this in.

AIR Publish for iOS Error: Install application on the connected iOS device

OK, I've been having this issue sporadically for a pretty long time now, I'm talking months if not over a year. Currently I am using Adobe Flash Pro CS 6 on a PC with Windows 8, AIR 4.0.0.1390 SDK installed. Sometimes, when publishing the App and having "Install the application on the connected iOS device" checked I receive the following error message although the iPad is connected with 2.5 GB available:
"Error creating files.
Uninstallation Error: Failed to send request to device.
Device Error: please check if there is enough space on the device."
I have found absolutely no rhyme or reason for this to occur. Sometimes it will, sometimes it won't, but I just tried publishing with install about four times, having unplugged the iPad, removed the previous App manually, closed the previously installed App, closed and reopened Flash, and it still won't install. Usually I can get it to install after a couple tries, thus dampening my urge to post a thread but I've now been driven to write due to the number of errors.
Oddly a Google search for "Uninstallation Error: Failed to send request to device." yields no results, am I the only receiving this message?
I keep hoping that new releases of AIR will resolve this issue but alas, no such luck. Anyone have a fix for this or able to confirm similar frustrations? I am currently using a first generation iPad, but have also experienced similar issues with third generation iPad.

I'm also getting the error in the post above when trying to publish and install with AIR 15.0.0.302 on an iPAD 2 iOS 8.0.2:
     Error creating files.
     Uninstallation Error: APIInternalError.
     Device Error: please check if there is enough space on the device.
- and I have 6.3GB of space, so I know that isn't the issue. I'm even attempting to compile a completely brand new (empty) fla, but the error persists. I've also tried to compile an ipa with AIR 14 and receive the same error. Possibly this has something to do with the latest iOS?

and imported them again in 1.6
One import installation failed so
I switched back to 1.44 but now i realized that it isn't a version conflict.
That is a big big problem because this app is quite important but i have only the sql file left.

Cause: When a list of parameters is passed to a subprogram or cursor, if both positional and named associations are used, all positional associations must be placed in their declared order and before all named associations, which can be in any order.
hits the sequence number p_item_sequence=> 6,05,
but i dont really know how to format it right.
In the UI im used to give values like 50 or 65
6,05, seems weird.

Error installing Apex 3.1 Application on 11g Apex

Hi,
I've come along some trouble when installing an application on embedded Apex in Oracle 11g Database.
The application I'm trying to install was exported on the same machine, on a Oracle 10gR2 DB and Apex3.1 - HTTP Server.
There have been no HW changes, DB is now 11gR1 and am using embedded PL/SQL Gateway and Apex that comes with the DB.
Import works fine, but when I go to the next step (install, run and build), the following error appears:
ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. Note, that if you are editing the export files manually yourself and 'get it wrong', you might run into problems 5 minutes, 5 hours, 5 days or 5 weeks down the line and really, truely be out on a limb by yourself.
I really wouldn't recommend hand-editing the export files in this way without the explicit guidance of the Oracle APEX folks (and/or Oracle support).

Error installing Apps on my Z10 from BB World

I've just recently started to get an error message on my Z10 when downloading apps that say “Error Installing Application” with a red bar. I thought it may have been the app I was originally trying to download, but I tried others and I continued to get that same message. Generally I have not had a problem in updating apps. I have tried rebooting many time but to no avail. I'm running OS 10.2.1.2102.

OK...then next...with a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT

Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive
2) Reboot
Pre-BB10 Devices ONLY. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
BB10 Devices. Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process. IF this fails, you can attempt the battery-pull method above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you may need to contact your mobile service provider for formal support.

Download Skype to Z10 - Error message appears " Error Installing Application "

I deleted the Skype app by accident - went to BB World and downloaded the Skype app - it downloaded and commenced installing 75% through the message appeared Error Installing Application
The Skype app appear but never initiallised - I deleted it - shut down the Z10 and restarted and tried again only to see the same result
I would appreciate learning what i need to do to have Skype installed again please

So now I am a little more unsure...when, exactly, does the error present? During the installation process via BBWorld? Of after when attempting to launch the app?
I was able, on my Z30 (10.2.1.3175), to successfully install Skype, but I did not actually launch it. On my Z10 (10.2.1.2234), I also can successfully install Skype from BBWorld, and on this device I did actually launch it successfully, but only to the point where it wants me to provide login credentials.
And, just to be clear on the process:
I select Skype from BBWorld
Click the button to download and install
Watch the download progress bar get to 100%
Watch the install progress bar get about halfway, at which point it asks to Accept something and then completes
Finally the screen changes back to the catalog screen, but the button has changed to "Open".
At that point, the app is fully installed to the device.
So, if this error presents to you during install, I have now successfully gotten past that, and something about your device is preventing it. What OS level is your Z10 on? If it's older than mine, then I recommend updating your OS -- app compatibility has improved as the OS has evolved.
As for company versus personal...just to be clear, you don't have "work" and "personal" "spaces" on your device. You have no selections for that anywhere, right? That's how you tell if your device is associated to a BES environment, and if it is that BES IT Policy could be what is blocking this. Further, you can check on an IT Policy via this procedure:

If there is an IT Policy and you are part of a BES environment, then you should talk to your BES admins about if perhaps they are blocking this.
As for alternatives, if it's BB to BB, then BBM voice/video would be the way to go. If it's to non-BB, then once (if) they roll out BBM voice/video for non-BB platforms, that could be a way to go. I haven't yet tried out Google Hangouts on BB10 yet, but I actually prefer that video chat service over Skype (but, I admit that I've not used Skype in a few years now, so perhaps it's improved over what problems it used to have).

My Iphoto has disappeared all of a sudden. I tried to use my application disc but it gives me an error at the end of installation. I don't have to pay for an App that was already on my computer. How do I download or get IPhoto in my situation?

Is this an iLife installation disk or system install disk? In either case download the demo version of Pacifist and open the install package on the disk. Locate iPhoto and use Pacifist to install iPhoto. Then you'll need to apply the latest updater from the Apple Downloads webpage:
Apple - Support - Downloads. Just search for the iPhoto version you installed to get the updaters for that version.

Try cleaning the DVD and try again. It could be that you have a bad disc.
Open the "Console" application. "Applications -> Utilities" are there any diagnostic messages or error logs, crash reports in the Console window? If a program crashes during the installation, post the error message. The first fifty lines of the crash log should suffice.
I'm guessing that it could be that certificate expired so the installer package is no longer trusted. You can try setting the date on your Mac back to around the date you bought it and try the installation again. I hope this helps. If not and you may need to request a new DVD.

I want to know if i copy all of the music in my itunes folder to an external without consolidating can i still transfer all my itunes music from my current windows xp pc to a brand new one and have my current itunes library in my new pc? Basically i just want to know 3 things: What exactly does consolidating the itunes library do? Can i copy, paste, and transfer my itunes library to an external and from there to a new pc? Will i be able to transfer my itunes library without consolidating the files?

I have found a temporary solution, allowing the previous version of iTunes (v. 11.1.3 (x64) in my case) to be re-installed. It will allow you to re-establish use of iTunes until the Apple software engineers fix the most recent disasterous upgrade (v. 11.1.4).
