Error Installing BEA Weblogic 10.0 MP2
Hi Everyone,
I have this strange problem. Every time i start the installer and try to install it I get the error:
"Could not extract the archive since it is corrupted error code=50"
Now that same installer is working on the other machine. Could you please tell me what could be the issue here. Till now i have gone through 3 different installers and all with the same result.
I killed the anti-virus process from task manager and i dont have any firewall installed on my PC. I have Trend Micro AV.

Trying to install Bea WebLogic Commerce Server 3.2
Hi there!
This is my environment:
Red Hat Linux 6.2 Kernel 2.2.14;
Bea WebLogic Server 5.1 service pack 9 (couldn't find service pack 6);
Java 1.3.1 (only for the Commerce Server);
Java 1.2.2 (only for Bea WebLogic Server);
512 Mb RAM
I followed instructions to install an evaluation copy of the Commerce Server 3.2
and this is my log of activities:
1. Registered software in order to get my evaluation license;
2. Downloaded the 1.3.1 version of java for Linux (they say: "The Solaris and
Linux versions of J2SE 1.3 ship with both VM implementations" (regarding client
& server implementations) source: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/docs/guide/performance/hotspot.html);
3. Installed Java 1.3.1 as documentation says;
4. Installed WLCS 3.2 following step by step the guide regarding the "Does not
have a windowing environment" section (i found an error because my bundled version
does not have the UninstallerData/Uninstaller_Haystack file);
5. Ran the StartCommerce.sh procedure to start the server;
6. Got this error: (please see below)
What's wrong?
Thanks in advance

Error Configuring BEA Weblogic Server v9.2
I'm using Eclipse 3.4 (Ganymede) with the new Enterprise Pack for Eclipse. When I try to create a New Server Runtime Environment for Weblogic 9.2, I get the following error:
"RE is selected, but the path is invalid."
The path is D:\export\webapps\sbea\weblogic92 which is correct because I successfully used that with Eclipse 3.3 with BEA Weblogic Weblogic 9.2 runtime that you could access from Eclipse 3.3.I was able to fix this by uninstalling all BEA products and re-installing WLS 9.2M1.

one in a week I am geting the following error:
[WLI-Core:489214]ProcessControl invocation failed[Service at /easWeb/com/pfizer/eas/marketing/processes/CreateDocCopies.jpd not found]
caused by: : com.bea.wlw.runtime.core.dispatcher.ServiceHandleException: Service at /easWeb/com/pfizer/eas/marketing/processes/CreateDocCopies.jpd not found
If I restart the managed server then this problem is resolved.
How can I fix this problem. Everything like queues, jsm server, connection pool is configured properly.
I can provide info about domain configuration if somebody needs.

Error calling BEA Weblogic Web Service
Hi all!
We are working with SAP PI 7.0 and we have a problem when we importing the WSDL specification of a Web service. This Web service is generated automatically with WebLogic 8.1 (servicegen).
The error is:
+Cause: Unable to recognize the loaded document as valid WSDL
The value ":arrayType" is not permitted for the attribute "name" of the "QName" type in the "/schema/complexType("List")/complexContent/restriction/attribute("http://prueba.encoding.miEsquema:arrayType")" element+
We can make some changes in the WSDL to avoid this error but SAP PI can't parse the response of the Web service...
Anyone has worked before with Weblogic services?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance,
Ettore Buzzoni ([email protected])Yes, I have the weblogic.policy file, but the problem is still reproducible.
Probably the same situation is also with Pentium 4, about symcjit.dll.
Exists a workaround?
Thanks, Ettore.

BEA Weblogic 10 MP3 vs Oracle Weblogic server 10 Rel 3
Hello
Supposed to install other software that has requirement for application server Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.2. We have installed BEA Weblogic 10 MP3 and when trying to start appserver get:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: weblogic/Server
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: weblogic.Server

at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:251)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(ClassLoader.java:319)
Question:
1. What is the difference between BEA Welogic 10 MP3 and Oracle Weblogic 10.3.2?
2. Any ideas on the above error.
Thanks10.3.2 version is 11g by Oracle but then again so is any version 10 release. Although there are still several references to BEA in versions 10 it is all Oracle (and I think 9.2 and above it Oracle).
Are you trying to start your console or a managed server? Please provide more detail.... -
"Publish" a RFC FM in Adaptator BEA Weblogic
Hi everybody,
We have "Fighting" to integrate SAP R/3 and BEA Weblogic. Once we have installed Bea Weblogic adapter for SAP, we need to do a test with an easy Function Module. We have created an easy FM and mark as RFC, but we do not find it inside the tree that offers us BEA'S adapter:
We search in Remote Functions Modules, under Basis, but our Group of Functions does not appear. Any idea ?
Thank you very much for your help.My idea is posting the question to a BEA forum

Installation error: CC&B2.3.1 & Weblogic 10.0 MP2
Dear All,
While installing framework for ccb2.3.1, splapp folder is created under the environment home folder(ccbdev231). Splapp folder contains the startweblogic.cmd and startdomainenv.cmd. After installing the framework and configuring the environment variables, the spl.cmd start command is initiated. The command in turn starts the weblogic server and i am getting the following error.
(This looks like more of a username/password error where the uname/pwd doesnt match with the boot.properties file. In boot.properties the uname and pwd are encryted. Please suggest.
While configuring the environment I specified default uname=system & pwd=spladmin as in the configuration document)

Any Suggestions please...Luckys, sivaram,
Thanks for the replies, I am still facing the same issue. I tried the steps from the metalink and the configenv.cmd/genupdatewar.cmd and couldnt able to solve password decipher error.
When I execute the spl.cmd start command the following message occurs
C:\Spl\ccbwls\bin>spl.cmd start
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: PasswordDecipher
Performing webserver action N
JAVA_OPTS is -Xms1024m -Xmx1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m -Dfile.encoding=ISO8859_1
CLASSPATH is C:\spl\ccbwls\splapp\standalone\lib\ojdbc5-11.1.0.7.0.jar
Return back to C:\Spl\ccbwls\bin directory
C:\Spl\ccbwls\bin>
And then the cmd window will popup trying to start the weblogic server with the error message provided in the earlier post.
Please advice, Thanks,

How to install oracle xsql servlet on bea weblogic 5.1
Hi there,
I tried to install oracles xsql servlet (1.0.4.1) on bea weblogic 5.1 without
any success.
in weblogic.properties I started with:
weblogic.httpd.webApp.xsql=c:\\weblogic\\myserver\\servletclasses\\xsql
And in this dir I have WEB-INF with the following web.xml:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<!DOCTYPE web-app
PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.2//EN"
"http://java.sun.com/j2ee/dtds/web-app_2.2.dtd">
<web-app>
<servlet>
<servlet-name>oracle-xsql-servlet</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>oracle.xml.xsql.XSQLServlet</servlet-class>
</servlet>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>oracle-xsql-servlet</servlet-name>
<url-pattern> *.xsql </url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
</web-app>
So the xsql extension is mapped to the named servlet which is found in a jar file
contained in subdirectory lib.
The problem is that the general mapping of *.xsql extension to specified class
does not work at all. And there are no errors...
Application server just presents me with the content of the xsql file instead
of executing servlet whith the xsql file as input.
Any ideas??
Thanx in advance.
JK
What kind of problem do you have?
If it's not connected with JDBC, you'd better post your question
in webservices newsgroup.

Hi
I have installed the BEA weblogic server 6.1 service pack 4 as part of PIA (PeopleSoft
Internet Architecture) installation for PeopleSoft 8.8.
After starting the weblogic server, When I type the
http://localhost:12080 (http port number 12080) ideally it should take me to
the BEA home page, but it is throwing an error in the log file.
" Failure in Process sockets - Get Data Java.lang.nosuchmethod error"
Your help is very much appreciated.
Any pointers are welcome.
Thanks
AswarthaI had similar problems with my install of Weblogic 6.1 sp4. I am installing PS
HRMS 8.8 sp1
and PeopleTools 8.44 Patch 2 (Patch 2 is required for install) Peoplesoft sent
me Weblogic 8.1
with my new Tools 8.44. This version and installation is light years ahead of
Weblogic 6.1. If
you are able to load the new version of Weblogic and Tuxedo, it is worth it.
If not, you may want to check to see if your JAR file was installed correctly.
(The new version
of WL doesn't make you unzip your JAR files for the install.)
In the command line for unzipping the JAR file, make sure you type the phrase
EXACTLY as
shown IT IS CASE SENSITIVE. I messed with this for two hours until I saw that
I wasn't putting
a capital letter in one of the words where I should have been.
Hope this helps.

Java: JDK 1.5 update 21 64 bit
Weblogic: Server 10.0 MP2 64 bit for windows

Regards,Hi,
Looks like you are using Generic Jar installer...so in that case please run the installer by using the -Xmx1024m option:
Example:
JAVA_HOME/bin/java -jar -Xmx1024m wls1001_generic.jar
As suggested in the following link: http://middlewaremagic.com/weblogic/?p=2731

Any ideas on what could be wrongMike thanks..
I fixed the problem by doing the following .. I was missing this parameter .. I had deleted the Right hand side ..
Everything works now

# Specifies the login URLs to be used by the Agent to redirect
# incoming users without sufficient credentials to the Access Manager
# authentication service.
# Hot-Swap Enabled: Yes
