Error installing BI statistics

Question

Whilst installing BI statistics using the report program
RSTCC_ACTIVATEADMINCOCKPIT_NEW we got the below  messages (in the job log for above report)
No object directory entry for object R3TR AGGR 41S4BSQZ2M4YB34DBE796AY9R   message  TR-745
Assign a package   message  TR-709
Specify the package or flag it as a local object  message TR-742
Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE 00-564
I checked the aggregate 41S4BSQZ2M4YB34DBE796AY9R in TADIR table and an entry already existed there with object type of DAGR (Agregate SAP delivery version).
But  from the above job log the system seemed to complain about no entry for AGGR (Aggregate) hence I created the object directory for  R3TR AGGR 41S4BSQZ2M4YB34DBE796AY9R in TADIR from table view maintainence transaction SM31.
After this I ran the program again but this time the system is complaining about another process chain start variant which has got an entry in  TADIR as R3TR       DSPT (process chain start variant SAP delivery)       0TCT_MD_C_FULL_START. however the program is expecting an RSPT in place of DSPT.
So creating the entries in TADIR is clearly not the way out.
Can anybody advise if I am missing any of the required steps for installing & activating the BI statistics in BI 7.0 ?
(Note : Have got the authorization role for S_RS_DEMO in my user and SAP_RO_BCTRA in user ALEREMOTE.
Have also already checked the notes 934848, 983358, 1074229, 989927  but don't think they are exactly releavant as far as the error messsage mentioned above is concerned.)

We had a nightmare with it - so we went through the help files and activated what we could bit by bit (some of the infopackages are dead and those are the ones that cause the problem)
