I have tried in different computers, different installers and I keep getting the following errors.

Deleting and downloading and reinstalling AIR

Acrobat opens but I cannot upgrade it which is not good.
I have read all the related posts I can find here but nothing helps.
Has anyone come up with an answer?
If not, what are my options? We spent a lot of money that we couldn't really afford for this software.You will need to have a look at the log files.

16.8 Troubleshooting
16.8.1 Logging
There are two primary logs: one for the installer application and one for the Updater which is responsible for detecting and downloading updates as well as invoking the installer.
16.8.1.1 Install log
Apple’s Installer.app creates an install log that should contain all basic success and failure details. The file is located at /private/var/log/install.log created by Apple’s Installer.app.
By default, the installer logs only necessary information in installer log. However, it is possible to configure the log to provide debug output for 10.x and later products.
To set this preference, do the following:
Go to Users/<user name>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat/(version) or create it if it doesn’t exist.
Open com.adobe.acrobat.InstallerOverrides.plist or create it if it doesn’t exist.
Create following key-value pair: AcroPatchLogLevel:debug
debug logging<key>AcroPatchLogLevel</key> <value>debug</value>
Save and close the file.
16.8.1.2 Updater log
The Updater creates a log at Users/<user name>/Library/Logs/Adobe/{application name} Updater.log. By default, it provides non-verbose output. To change the default:
Go to Users/<user name>/Library/Preferences.
Open to com.adobe.ARM.plist.
Note Create the file if it does not exist. The file will not exist unless the Updater has run at least once.
Create a new key if it does not exist: LogLevel.
Set LogLevel:
Brief: -int 0
Verbose: -int 1
Save and close the file.
The log size limit is as follows: If an existing log is bigger than 1 MB, the Updater truncates the log. Old log files are backed up once as Adobe Acrobat/Reader Updater-old.log and overwrites any existing old.log. -
Error Installing CS6 in Windows 8.1
U just purchased CS6 Design and Web Premium. When istalling I received message indicating the installation failed. Created a log and a screen. I have windows 8.1

These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? Are they also 80071A30, or some other number? (If they're another number, what number are you getting?) -

Error installing Photoshop CS6 (Design and Web Premium)
A similar error occurs if I try to install all of CS6.. I've had Revo Uninstaller delete all the registry keys/leftover files and tried reinstalling.. I've tried installing MS Visual C++ 2010 independently of the install. No dice. I have homework due tomorrow (of course) and my photoshop broke.. And will not install now..

if that fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
if you're using a dvd to install:
copy the disc contents to a desktop directory and install from that directory.
if you're using a mac:
1. Try to Create a new user account in Mac with Administrator Priviledges.
2. Login to the New user, Navigate to Mac HD> Application> Utilities> Adobe Installer folder, Locate products like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and un-install them
3. Navigate to User Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
4. Navigate to Mac HD> Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
5. Start the installation again.

Installation error when installing CS6 on Mac?
I keep getting an installation error when I try to install CS6 on my Macbook Pro. It says "installer failed to initialize, this could be due to a missing file". It also shows troubleshooting tips. I have tried them and none of them work. I also tried disc repair and multiple other troubleshooting advice from this site. Nothing has worked yet. Help!

Error message after installing CS6
After installing CS6 from disk error message said, "Some items for the following product(s) could not be installed successfully." The message then listed five of the eight applications in CS6. I can't find any info about where to go to identify and resolve the issue. Please advise.

Error when installing CS6 on Mac
I just bought a new Macbook Pro along with the Adobe CS6 Design & Web Premium. Nothing has been installed on the Mac yet and I tried to install CS6. Each time I came up with the error "The product you are trying to install is not an Adobe Geniune Software and appears to be counterfeit. Please report piracy or contact customer support for assistance." I've registered and gotten a serial number for it. I've also bought CS5 for Windows before and have never run into this problem. I bought the software yesterday at the college bookstore so it "shouldn't" be a counterfeit! Is this a problem with the bookstore or Adobe?

Thank you in advance for your help.It means what it says - display requirements not met. Either the screens ar really too small or misconfigured. And yes, that Chines directory names may also figure in, but I can't help you with that. Try to set your system to English.

Errors when Installing CS6 10.8
HI,
When I try installing CS6 Master Collection on an 10.8.5 Machine I am receiving the below log full of error messages.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, Have also tried removing the preferences through the Adobe cc cleaner.
I have just tried renaming the colour sync profile and reinstalling but that didn't have any luck either.
User has Read/ Write permissions to the entire library folder and Applications folder.
Any suggestions?

System RequirementsNot sure how helpful this is, many moons later, but I was recently bloodied the same way (CS6 on 10.8.5) and found the only way to go through was to uninstall everything and run the CC Cleaner, found under #3 at

(DMG is at http://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/en/support/AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.dmg)
However, once you run that I found I had to run the CS6 Installer a couple of times, selectively deselecting installed apps and also customizing apps such as Photoshop and Illustrator NOT to install the recommended Font Set, etc.
Sorry to say I didn't take a screen shot to share.
Hopefully, this will assist some of the far too many who seem to have been hamstrung by the Installer. Very drastic way to drive people to CC, Adobe. ;-) -
When im installing cs6 on my laptop, im getting a error that says u need to reboot your laptop to continue the installation.
So i did that end the installtion of cs6 freezes.
I tryed this 6 times already on the same laptop, It runs windows 8 and it is this laptop

How do you view Photoshop CS6 13.0.4 in low resolution on a macbook pro retina display? I have tried opening CS6 in applications> get info> under general there is no option to open in low resolution as there is in Lightroom.
