Error installing Dreamweaver from Creative Cloud Application Manager OSX

Getting this error:
Exit Code: 7
Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example,  ERROR:
-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------
- 0 fatal error(s), 1 error(s)
ERROR: Updating driver data failed. Driver entry was notadded. ARP estimated size 64578KB
I have rebooted, etc. All of my other apps work fine it seems. However, it is interesting that Application Manager shows "Install" next to ALL apps, including the ones I have already installed using Application Manager.
Any ideas?

  • Creative Cloud Application Manager error/unable to update Lightroom

I am currently on a Mac and my Adobe Creative Cloud Application Manager (AAM) is having some issues.
I ran the update this morning when I heard that camera raw had been updated.  The updated completely successfully for camera raw.
AAM is showing that my current version of Lightroom is 4.4.  When launching the Lightroom application it is still showing that it is 4.3 and that the update for 4.4 is available.  I checked the application manager in OSX and it shows that the current version is indeed still 4.3.
Since I am using creative cloud and not stand alone products, I thought that the AAM would update my programs and why is the AAM not updating my Lightroom from 4.3 to 4.4.  Is it because camera raw updated and it is erroneously reporting that Lightroom has been updated?
I have never used a beta or RC version of lightroom on this computer, only final products and updates that have been provided with creative cloud.
Is Lightroom a program that you have to manually update outside of creative cloud application manager? That doesn't make sense to me since it is one of the programs included with the subscription and was installed with the application manager.
My hopes are that I'm not the only one having this issue and by posting this Adobe becomes aware of this.

    Thanks for the reply.
To clarify for the community and to make sure I understand you (Adobe Staffer) correctly you are saying right now the current fix action (update path) is for us to update the same way we were if this was a stand alone lightroom install outside of creative cloud and seperate from the Adobe Application Manager.  Which is downloading the 427MB file from the Adobe website and installing/updating?
I just want to verify before I do this and it causes future conflicts with my subscription and future updates.
    Thanks for the help.

  • Applications incorrectly marked as Installed in Creative cloud Application Manager

    Morning all
I've just signed up to creative cloud, i installed the application manager, then started to download PS, AI, Firewirks and a few more, which was going to take a while so i left it to it over night.
In the morning all is good, i can run all the applications i downloaded (and still can)
I decided i wanted to install more, lets say Premier, however on opening Application manager, all that i have installed (and can run) are marked as "Install", and all that i have NOT installed, are marked as "installed". The main problem being that I am now unable to install the rest of the suite.
Oddly fireworks in correctly marked, and SOME of the apps ive not yet installed are still marked "Install" (Prelude, audition, muse etc)
And yes i have re-started!! the pc is on Win7 Ultimate x64

You can re-name the OOBE folder, so you will be able to install the software from the Adobe Application Manager.
If your using 32 bit version you have to navigate to C drive; Program File> Common File> Adobe> OOBE- Please re-name it to OOBE.old
If your using 64 bit version  you have to navigate to C drive; Program File(X86)> Common File> Adobe> OOBE- Please re-name it to OOBE.old.
    It will resolve the issue!

  • Is it possible to install the Creative Cloud/Application Manager on a USB?

I tend to use the Applications a lot and it would just be easier to install the creative cloud on my USB rather then the computers I go to, mainly because in order to install it on my school computers, it would require an admin password. So I was wondering if there was a way to possible install both the Creative Cloud Connection, and the application manager (along with apps) on my USB?

    Hi,
Installing it on a USB(external hard drive) will not be a good idea as the products will not work on another computer if you connect this USB to it. In your scenario i will suggest you to use creative cloud packager(CCP) for deployment on other machine.
    details are available on http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/packager/creative-cloud-packager.html

  • I got this error message today from Creative Cloud: "Installer was unable to access a critical file/directory. Please try installing again. Error Code: 49"

It was working great up until just last week, now it's not working. What did Adobe change to cause this problem and prevent any further updates after that last update?
When will Adobe fix it, without any action on my part. The whole idea of the Cloud was that this was supposed to take care of itself.

Launch Photoshop CC 2014 application from C: > Program Files > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CC 2014.
Once the Photoshop CC 2014 application is launched , click on Help menu.
    Select Updates option.
Once the Updates are listed , close Photoshop cc 2014 and Creative Cloud application .
Then click on Update button and try to update .

  • Activating second install of a creative cloud application

I have a membership in creative cloud.  I installed several apps on the main machine, including photoshop.  When I repeated the steps on the second machine to install photoshop only (only one version will be used at a time), it is activated as a trial. How do I correct this?

Yes.  The only way to download the app from creative cloud is by logging in first, from what I see.
The download worked and the Adobe application manager displayed a message that activation was successful.  However, the next time I tried to start the software, it reported 00 days left on the trial.  I went through the "license this software button, logged in again.  I was allowed to run the application.  The next time, it displayed 30 day on the trial, but I had to use the license button again.
