Error installing Google Voice in Lion
Trying to install Google Voice and Video so that I can use Google+ Hangouts. Did a hard reboot so no webkit aps are running. Fired up the installer... and ...
No error code... no indication why it failed.
Any thoughts?

ISight conflict when installing Google Voice and Video driver
After installing Google Voice and Video driver, the iSight stops working on Flash based applications or websites.
Two camera drivers are installed: Google camera 0 and Google camera 1.
Even if I go to Settings and choose the correct driver (iSight Integrated), it does't works.
The only way I found to solve this issue is removing those Google's drivers (Library/Application Support/Google/GoogleVoiceAndVideoUnistaller).
However, this is not a solution since I can't use GTalk anymore.
Does Flash Player 10.2 fixes this conflict?

I cannot find Google Voice under App Store , is there another way to install it ?
Heck, I had posts censored and/or deleted for talking about how I was requesting an enhancement (global ringtones for all alert and notification functions, not just calls and clock). Against policy! Please, if you can get alerts across the board with a jailbroken phone (and you can), why will Apple not implement it on the iPhone, and why can't we talk about it. I don't want to unlock my phone, or run stolen apps, or tether it, or anything else. I just want more than a beep or a glass sound when I get a text or an email or a calendar alert. I've been using Apple since 8, and started using X when it was 10.0.3. This used to be a nice place to come for help and to help. Now, I rarely bother. And Apple's policies vis a vis the iPhone just seem... draconian. I can overclock my iMac or theme it or whatever else I want, but boy, an iPhone is sacrosanct. It's a phone, make it work at least as good as my old RAZR or my wife's cheap Nokia.

"SyntaxError: Parse error" Installing Google Analytics-iWeb 09 w/MobileMe
I have gone through many discussions on how to add Google Analytics - ran the Automator with my UA-xxxxxxxx-x number to my MobileMe Web>Sites folder, but the status on GA says that the tracking is not installed. I just noticed that in the resources tab under Develop>Web Inspector that there is a "SyntaxError: Parse error" under the UA#.
Any thoughts? I am pretty new to this, so forgive me for my lack of intelligence when it comes to Google tracking. Should I start over? If so, how can I remove the current code?

Ksurl - Found w/ Little Snitch after Google Voice
i just wanted to go on record to say that i too found that ksurl was connecting and only cropped up after i installed Google Voice/Chat/Talk on a Mac.

If you have a problem with permissions, you should repair those. I don't know why you'd think it would mess up things - repairing permissions fixes them.

I don't use Little Snitch, but I would suspect that you have a setting there that is preventing your uploads as well as your communication with the Apple server. Hopefully someone using that app will chime in here on that.
So, until someone using Little Snitch can chime in, I would suggest you try turning it off for a short while; repairing your permissions, and then try to upload your videos. If it works, then you'll know the culprit and will need to adjust some settings there. If it doesn't, at least we've eliminated it as a source of the problem. -
Any get Google Voice to work on 2.3.6?

I'm a new Charge owner as of 1 week now. I received the Gingerbread update as soon as I turned on my new phone.
I've installed Google Voice but cannot get it to work. I cannot make calls from the Charge and have the calls come from my GV #. I've checked the option in GV that says to ask everytime if I want the call coming from GV.
Anyone have GV working fine with their Charge on Gingerbread? I just trying to figure out the issue....

DaveSorry, it appears this site was broken by a change to how Firefox handles a particular script command.
(When a script uses location.replace() to navigate to a new URL, apparently it now needs to use the whole URL, not a relative URL.)
Hopefully they will fix it soon, but until then, you can't use it in Firefox 4. (Or you would have to hack the page to use it, which probably is more trouble than it's worth.) -

Go to Solution.right click to the volume icon on the left bottom side on your desktop > recording devices > recording > and make sure your current microphone device is default.

Can i get help on how I can successfully install the new google voice video chat software. I keep having an install error. My google voice phone always worked until a week ago when suddenly google would not let me call out from any browser until I installed their new google voice and video chat (made by vidyo) software. I was told by genius bar to install Yosemite, which I did. But that did not solve the problem. I removed macKeeper, as well, since a techie friend told me that could be the cause. Nothing so far has worked. When the problem first happened, it seemed to only happen in Chrome. Google voice calling out worked fine in safari, for about a day or so. Now I cannot call out from any browser. I can, however receive calls, and make calls within the video hangout.

Best Regards,You need to upgrade your copy of MS Office. You're using a version that is 8 years old (at least). You can buy Office 2011, which will work. You could also get a copy of Pages from the App Store, which is cheaper and will open Word files (though not perfectly). Or you could get a free Office clone, like OpenOffice or LibreOffice.
