Error installing LJ M127-M128 PCLmS, Server 2003, x86 driver

I start to load the driver into the remote terminal server, it finds the driver it wants, and then I get the titled message "Unable to install HP Laserjet Pro MFP M127-M128 PCLmS, Windows 2000, XP and Server 2003, x86 driver.  Operation could not be completed".  Tried every print driver that comes on the CD with the same results.

Hi Jennie,
I am also facing the exact problem , did u found any solution on that?, if yes pls reply me how to rectify this issue asap,
lot of tnx in advance.

  • Can't get past OCX error when installing ODAC 11g on Windows Server 2003

I have been trying to install ODAC 11g on Windows Server 2003 and can't get past the OCX error when registering oravsdbgeng11w.dll. I've read every message on this forum even remotely related to this problem and tried every solution offered. I have done a clean install into a new Oracle home, and made sure Instant Client is always included. All service packs and automatic updates have been installed. For what it's worth I have successfully installed ODAC 11g on Windows XP Pro.
If anyone out there has been able to get this up and running and would care to share the wisdom that would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

Michael, as you already noticed, every time I have seen this issue it has been because ODT was being installed into an Oracle home where no client exists, or perhaps installed into an old oracle home where the client was an old version (eg Oracle10), or the client was broken. Usually though, the user unchecked the instant client checkbox during the ODAC install.
So you say you checked instant client and you still got the error? That doesn't add up...
Are you using 32-bit windows? If you are using 64 bit windows be sure to tell us.
Why don't you try avoiding using instant client at all, in case it is somehow not getting installed properly.
You can do this as follows:
    1) Under the download links on OTN, go to the database download page.
    2) Download the Oracle Database client 11g for Microsoft Windows
    3) Run this installer and Install ODP.NET 1.x and 2.x into a new Oracle home from this client install, but nothing else. If ODP.NET is not listed there (it has been a long time since I looked at that) than just install a minimal Oracle client install.
    4) Close the installer
    5) Go back and install ODAC and this time choose "Oracle Server" radio button during the install (rather than the client install)
    6) Install ODT and ODP.NET at least and be sure they are being installed into the Oracle home created in the first steps above.
This will avoid use of Instant Client and will hopefully avoid the OCX error. Let me know if this solves your problem.

  • About memory issue during installing Oracle 11g on Windows Server 2003

    Hi, all
When I installed Oracle 11g on Windows Server 2003 which the server is a virtual server, Oracle only can detect 2G memory.
But there are 4G memory with my server.
I want to know if the Oracle 11g's new feature or the virtual server lead the issue.
Also , I want to get your help to resolve the issue, thanks a lot.

    Let me get this straight:
You have created some virtual machine using someone's unknown VM software.
You have installed Windows Server 2003 (perhaps, but not confirmed 32-bit) to that VM.
You have allocated 4GB of memory to the VM (we guess ... not sure I'm ready to take your word on this)
You are attempting to install Oracle 11g (presumably 11gR1 32 bit for Windows) in the VM
And the Oracle (installer?) seems to be reporting that you only have 2GB RAM.
Since I personally have installed Oracle 11g 32bit for Windows on Windows 2003 server with 4GB RAM and had no issues, I would be investigating the (unknown) VM environment.

  • Cannot run the big size exe file ( 900MB) on Windows Storage Server 2003 x86 SP2 OS(Hyper-V VM machine)

When I run a big size exe file(>900 MB) on Windows Storage Server  2003 x86 SP2 OS VM mchine(which is managered by Hyper-V server), I got the following error message:
Windows cannot open this program because the license enforcement system has been tampered with or become corrupted.
This setup.exe should be a trusted source because of it run other OS(windows 2003, windows 2008, 2008 R2 etc.).  we use the same way to create the exe whose size < 700MB, it works fine on the same machine(Windows Storage
Server 2003 x86 SP2 OS VM machine).  So I assume that the file size(>900MB) causes the problem, It seems that OS dont' support it.
    My questions:
    1. Is there the limitation of exe size to run on Windows
Storage Server  2003 x86 SP2 OS VM machine?  If yes, what is the size of limitation?
    2. What reason is this error? Is it related with Hyper-V?
    Thanks,
    Recky

Did you install the 2003 VM from scratch or did you create it via a P2V process?  In addition to what Shaon says about not all applications running properly in VMs, performing P2V to create VMs can also cause issues with a variety of things.
First thing to check would be Shaon's suggestion to try it in another VM.  If it works in another VM, and you P2V'ed this VM, try creating your Storage Server VM from scratch and try again.  Better yet, if the application can be run on a later version
of the OS, create a 2012 Storage Server instead of the 2003 Storage Server as your VM and give it a try.

  • JRE Error : while Install oracle 10gR2 on Windows Server 2003

    Hello,
I am trying to install a Oracle 10gR2 on windows server 2003.
I have unziped the files and when I run the oui.exe it gives the below error:
cannot find any matches for wildcard specification "../stage/components/oracle.swd.jre/1.5.0.0./1/DataFiles/*.jar
Error : JRE missing in Scratch Path
I tried changing the oraparmaini file but it did not allow to make any changes.
Not sure if its looking for any particular java files.
What should i edit ,to specify the java location.
    Thanks

What exactly did you unzip? This error occurs if there are several zip-files extracted to different target locations. But - if I remember correctly - 10gR2 database is only one zip-file, so you should not face this issue. JRE for OUI is part of the downloaded software,so you don't need to specify a location for JRE, OUI knows where to find this.

I heard that Oracle has a limitation of 2GB Memory Allocation for Oracle Database. Can you post steps on how to acoomplish this task?Pray tell, where did you hear that? I'd encourage you find the source and ask for your money back - they give bad advice.
More relevant info can be found at http://www.oracle.com/pls/db102/portal.portal_db?selected=3 ... scroll down to 'Platform Guide' and select the appropriate guide - Windows 32 bit, Windows Itanium, or Windows 64 bit - that is relevant to your environment. • New install ZH77A-G43 with cloned Server 2003 won't boot in Safe mode

    Hello,
I just installed a ZH77A-G43 into an existing PC box, new Core i3, new SATA CD and 500G drive, existing tape backup connected to a SCSI card. I cloned the new harddrive into 2 partitions, the first one being a bootable Server 2003. I installed the harddrive on another computer, and the partitions appear to be cloned correctly. When I boot off the new drive in the new hardware computer it gets to the Server 2003 splash screen, and then reboots during processing of acpitabl.dat (this is in Safe mode). I've tried booting from a Server 2003 installation CD, and that also results in a reboot.
I tried removing the SCSI card, and that results in a reboot before the MSI splash screen comes up.
This is the first time I've done a hardware change like this. The MSI instructions were very simple to follow and I was exciding to see the Server 2003 splashscreen after about 30 minutes of hardware installation. But now I'm stuck and request your help.
    Regards, Philip

    Hello xmad,
Thanks for the suggestions. The CD that wouldn't boot is Server 2003 64 bit--no service pacts. I just tried my VISTA CD and it came up and was ready to start the installation. The hardware is
Seagate 500G harddrive connected to SATA2
LG OEM DVDRW 24X internal connected to SATA1
    2 sticks of DDR3 2GB 1333MHz
Quantum DLT-V4 tape backup drive connected to SCSI card
PSU is enclosed in a case labeled ANTEC DESIGN and I can't see any infor unless I take apart the enclosure.
I just removed the SCSI card, and the system reboots immediately after 1 second or so of the MSI splashscreen. With the SCSI card in, it reboots during the Server 2003 splashscreen (during processing of acpitabl.dat).
Should this system be compatible with Server 2003 64bit?
Should I next update the BIOS as you previously suggested?
    Update: I currectly have BIOS E7758IMS V1.7

    Hi,
The P1102w is an Host-Based printer, any host-based printer does not support Citrix / Terminal Services / RDP connection.
You may find that listed on page of the following guide:
    http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c03635702/c03635702.pdf
You may try installing the drivers on the client itself and check if that may work..
