Error installing Nokia Suite! Need help.

Hello everybody,
I am trying to install Nokia Suite on my laptop, running on Windows 7 64 bit. I downloaded two different install files from http://www.nokia.nl/support/software/nokia-pc-suite/download . First I selected my phone (N97) and then downloaded that file. The install failed so I tried the fast download, which also failed to install.
During installation, I'm getting this error:
Microsoft.VC80.MFC,type="win32",version="8.0.50727.4053",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="amd64".
I don't know what to do now, can anyone help me find a solution?

The Nokia Suite still not working since ver.3.89 update and giving the error "Nokia Suite needs to be repaired" . Since that update and till this moment with all trials of uninstall & reinstall & New updates & New beta versions.............etc are not working.

Hi guys i have an idea with my own experiance. (1) When nokia suite install error occur then i import 2 certificate .cer files (google for it) and nokia suite installed very easy. (2) after 1-2 months nokia suite corrupt because i restore previous restore point, then i remove and reinstall nokia suite now it show install error code 1601. Then

i try method 1 in above site then nokia suite installed normally but (3) now when i open nokia suite it show "needs to be repair" endless error
but don't worry please try this-
install "total uninstall 5" and remove nokia suite, nokia connectivity cable drive and pc connectivity solution with this software, but remember that don't remove above 3 with add or remove program only remove above 3 with total uninstall 5, because this software remove every nokia suite related files in whole pc system. Now restart pc and reinstall nokia suite and see magic. Now nokia suite working fine. Now you can empty recycle bin.

Hi! I am new here. I want to install Nokia Suite on my PC. But when I try to install, it finishes half and then an error comes saying 'Something went wrong'. And then the installation fails and exits. Your help will be appreciated. Thanks

Uhh.. yeah, sorry about that. I didn't have any trimming software. And even if I install one, it would take much time. Please forgive me . You could've atleast click forward to skip the useless parts though.. By the way, thanks for helping me!
And about the ignoring thing, I ignored them because if I abort, the installation will fail and exit and otherwise I click retry, nothing will happen at all except the error will come back again. Just wanted to show you all the errors.

Well, when I did the permission things, It said I will have to reinstall the Nokia Suite installer again. I already had installed Nokia Suite from the official site before. So I had this one installed from another site, and it was in a .rar format. So I deleted the folder and extracted the .rar file again and in this way I didn't have to install another one. Installing another one would take huge time, it's 101 MB! You can tell me if it's confusing you .

Problem installing Nokia Suite 3.8.48

I've tried installing Nokia Suite 3.8.48 several times on my Desktop computer with Windows 7 Professional 64bit.
The error message ""something went wrong" appears at the end of the installing process.
Error in Microsoft.MSXML2,publicKeyToken=" " (see attached print screen in Dutch language).
Please help for advice

This error code usually appears if the .NET framework components are missing or corrupted.
To fix this:
1. Go to Start> Control Panel
2. Click Programs and Features> Uninstall a program
3 . Uninstall the following present installations of Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1, Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0, Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, Microsoft .NET Framework 4, Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5
4. Restart the computer and log back.
5. Download the latest .NET Framework installer here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 and get the earlier version if you have programs that are dependent on old .NET versions http://www.microsoft.com/net/download/earlier-versions and install.
6. Restart the computer, re-install Nokia Suite.

I would like to install Nokia Suite on to another disk-partition because my C-disk is almost full. With the installer I cannot choose. Anyone a solution?

If it is Win 7 or later, the Adobe PDF printer for AA 7 will not install and AcroTray will not function. You will have to install a PS driver from Adobe or maybe an HP color PS printer driver. Then edit the driver properties and change the name to Adobe PDF and the port to FILE. You will always have to do an extra step in creating PDFs by opening the file that is created in Distiller to get the PDF.
If you are talking about Win 8, you may not be successful at all. If you got Acrobat and Distiller to install, then there is a chance.

Why OVI Store says "Install Nokia Suite"? I have installed the Nokia Suite again and it says to me "Install Nokia Suite".

It gives you 2 Options... send the link thru' SMS as it was earlier..Just enter your Mobile No. in the small window on Left Hand side...Whereas the NEW feature allows you to download directly.. for that connect your phone to PC and let the OVI Suite run in the background..The DULL picture of the PC Screen and the Mobile phone will brighten up and the 'DOWNLOAD ON PC' tab will become active..
The message 'Install OVI Suite' is only for users who do not have it installed yet...

I've done just that.
And another on the finder column bug in list mode.
And a few more in the pipeline if I find the motivation: I'm afraid my long relationship with Apple is flagging. They are excessively focussed on consumer goods and leaving their core business to wither away.
Maybe more serious users aren't profitable to them, and they are happy to let it wither.
So presumably they are happy if we wander off and start focussing on all the open source unixes out there.
p.s. not happy with general Apple trends since about 10.6.8, can anyone tell ?

Hi Gareth!
Basically, this is a Windows Installer error. You will need to update your installation of Windows here: http://www.windowsupdate.com. This should cure the problem.
Also, try using the latest PC Suite, version 6.7, from http://www.nokia.com/pcs.
