Error installing PC Suite 6.84

Long story short, my computer got formatted and I had to re-install PC Suite (version 6.84) on my computer. Exactly when the installer reaches 38 %, I get this error :

I hope you can help me solve this as I've found absolutely nothing on Google and don't own any mp3 player so my cellphone is all I have (music xpress 5310).
I downloaded the new version, with OVI, but quickly removed it since apparently I can't transfer music directly from the CD there. Any help with that? In case I can't install version 6.84 I wouldn't mind the new version as long as I can transfer the files directly from the PC, since all of my music is on CDs.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. From your link I couldn't see for sure if my phone is compatible with OVI player. I know it can play music so I thought it wouldn't be a problem. Also from the link you gave me, it seems the way OVI works is that I have to download the songs (albeit free) and then transfer them to my cellphone. It said I could rip CDs also but most of my CSs aren't in audio form, they are on MP3 (data), so I'd have to transfer them to my computer and then upload them to the cellphone, as opposed to transfer them directly from the disc as I was able to do before.
I know that the version of PC Suite I was using was old, but the new version only lets me transfer the songs using OVI, and OVI won' let me transfer from the CDs. which is the root of my problem. If there is any other way of doing that, using the new version of PC suite, then I'm all ears. I'm desperate.

Error installing Nokia Suite! Need help.

Hello everybody,
I am trying to install Nokia Suite on my laptop, running on Windows 7 64 bit. I downloaded two different install files from http://www.nokia.nl/support/software/nokia-pc-suite/download . First I selected my phone (N97) and then downloaded that file. The install failed so I tried the fast download, which also failed to install.
During installation, I'm getting this error:

Error installing SOA Suite 10.1.3.1.0

Hi,
I am trying to install SOA Suite 10.1.3.1.0 in my PC (Window XP). But the installation fails with the following error message:

Installation error installing pc suite

Hi All,
am getting a specific error when trying to install pc suite, and am hoping someone can help!
am using winxp home edition with sp1, have the nokia 6630
have tried to install using the disk that cam with the phone which is version 4.8 (i think) and also tried the newest version off the website. I even tried the disk that came with my partners 6680, but all are giving the same error....
error reads:
An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {303994ba-6487-47ae-af1d-7af6088eebdb], HRESULT:- 2147024894
ive successfully installed this software on my works pc, using the disk, cable etc, but need to put it on my home pc too.....my home pc is a mirror of the works one, so i cant see what the problem is.....any help much appreciated!

saracen, if you copypast the error message to goole, you will get loads of links that handle similar problems, I suggest you read those and try to figure out what is identical to your setup and find a solution from there.

Error installing pc suite

i just downloaded the new version of the pc suite
but when he's installing the connectivity driver
he gives an error: "There is an other version discovert of the nokia connectivity cable driver. Remove this software before you proceed."
and the installation quits after i get this message
but i already removed the software and the driver, and i used the nokia cleaning software
but i still keep getting this error

Did you do a re-boot on the PC after you uninstalled the software? If you go to Add/Remove prgrams is there any other Nokia Programs there??

Its a free registry cleaner which I use on a daily basis and it cleans up my mchine pretty good. Run this and select the 'issues' icon and let if find all the unrequired files. You may find a few nokia files still kicking about. Remove them all, do a re-start and then re-install PC suite from the begining again.
Might be worth while to make sure you have all the critical Microsft updates also, as this may have some effect.

Error installing pc suite/nokia cable drivers/noki...

hi..i'm using windows xp service pack 2,my phone is a nokia 5700MX on firmware version:3.83.1
i had the nokia pc suite version 6.82 installed on my pc but accidentally deleted some nokia pc suite files(common files),so i decided to uninstall and reinstall the newer pc suite version 7.
i tried to manually delete the program files and registry entries but that was too much to handle so i used REVO uninstaller to completely remove the pc suite files and reg. entries from my pc.
now whenever i try to install pc suite version 7, i receive two consecutive error messages:
1-"UninstPCSFEMsi.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience".
2-"installation operation failed.the windows installer service could not be accessed.this can occur if you are running windows in safe mode,or if windows installer is not correctly installed.contact your support personnel for assistance".
and that's the same case whenever i try to install nokia software updater or nokia cable driver but with only the second message.
i re-installed the windows installer but still no good,so i tried that nokia pc suite cleaner version 3.6 with every option available in it..no good! but i attached the log to this message ,maybe it'll help u help me !

If your intension is to install the latest PC on your PC, uinstall Nokia PC Suite(if any), PC Connectivity solution, Nokia Connectivity cable driver Run Nokia PC Suite clenaer and then install Nokia PC Suite latest switch off/on the PC and then try to connect your mobile now... Best of Luck

Error installing PC suite.. pl help

I love my N73 & still using it. PC suite was a valuable software for me since long. Something like a week ago I downloaded the an updated one & tried to install it on my HP probook(windows7 home 32 bit) & it didn't. After some search on internet, I cleaned the registry, uninstalled previous pc suite & other nokia apps & tried to install pc suite again. The percentage(install window) grew but I saw that pop up again: "INSTALLATION PROCESS FAILED..... THE SYSTEM CANT FIND THE FILE SPECIFIED". I know that every problem does have a solution & thats why I am posting this message. Please Please help..

This is an odd error. I am installing a brand new environment for SOA-SUITE 11g on a test database before going through the pain to complete this in our development environment. I am using RCU to build the environment as instructed and am allowing RCU to handle everything but constructing the schemas. I have created the schemas manually via SQL*Plus.

Do you mean you are not running RCU utility command from D:\rcuHome\bin\rcu.cmd folder ? As far as I know, this is the supported and easiest way to create any Schemas for any SOA Middleware product like SOA, BPM, OBIEE, ODI, WebCenter etc etc. I am not sure if directly running sql scripts will work and if its possible also.
I would prefer running rcu.cmd command and provide Database SYS username, password with db details like db host, port, sid. Incase if db credentials are secret and not given to you, simply ask that DB Adminstrator to run this RCU command. Just unzip this file and run rcu.cmd and provide all the details. This do NOT need any other thing at all. Its pretty straight forward.
RCU command takes care of all the things. Create tablespaces, schemas, then create all the stuff inicluding tables, sequeneces, packages and compile them also.
Finally if you use Oracle XE 10g Edition, run one line to set this value before you run rcu.cmd -> set RCU_JDBC_TRIM_BLOCKS=TRUE

Cud u pls chck if ur system has got microsoft visual c++ 2008 redistributable instlld on ur pc? If not, do googlin' b4 u instll this on ur pc, if u feel its safe 2 install, go ahead n chck.

Error installing eLearning suite on Win7 Pro 32bit

I couldn't find this specific problem previously discussed.
I just received a Dell tablet with Win 7 Pro 32 bit. When I try to install the eLearning Suite i get an error stating that the machine does not meet min reguirements, that I need Win XP with Service Pack 2 or higher or Win Vista with Service Pack 1 or higher with a quite and continue button. I'm hesistant to click continue. Is there something I should do to stop this message prior to attempting the install?

It turns out that the problem was I downloaded the files via Google Chrome. I tried both the Akaimi and the alternate files, and neither worked.
When I downloaded the alternate files via Firefox, they worked first time. No further tinkering required.

Error installing Developer suite 10g

Hello,i have downloaded the oracle developer suite 10g 10.1.2.0.2
i get this error whenever i try to start the setup program :
Error in writing to directory C:\Documents And settings\<MY_CURRENT_USER>\Local Settings\TEMP\OraInstall...
please ensure that this directory is writable and has at least 55 MB of disk space
Installation cannot continue
i can see there is a OraInstall<time> directory with a size of app. 50 MB created under my local Documents and Settings\<MY_CURRENT_USER>\LOCAL~1\TEMP
Im using Windows XP sp2, and i have 10g Database Release 1 installed.
i've tried with another account on another similar XP station ( same configuration on both machines ) and i got the same error.
Any help is appreciated.

I hve installed oracle 11g R.2 in my machine, now when i try to install oracle developer suite 10g directly using setup.exe it becomes not responding. I hve changed the compatibility mode, since getting the same. So i tried with oracle universal installer 11g but it shows an error and stops installing
error :
some components in the stage area have stage version less than 10.2.0.0.0. please ensure that all the components have their stage version greater than or equal to 10.2.0.0.0.
Pls help me to install this. I need oracle forms and reports.

Error Message When Installing eLearning Suite on New PC

Hi. I have been using the eLearning Suite 2 since its launch last year. I recently treated myself to a new PC (64 bit, Windows 7) and have downloaded the software again from the Adobe site so that I could reinstall it.
The download (via the Akami download) seems to go fine until I try to extract the files. I then get the following error message: A problem occurred while extracting some files. Check available space on your computer and the write privileges on the destination folder.
The priviledges are all fine, as I have installed a lot of software into exactly the same folder already. And there's about 600GB of space left on the drive. I also also came across the files that I used before to install the suite on my old PC, and got exactly the same message.
Am at a loss to understand what is wrong. Any ideas?

It turns out that the problem was I downloaded the files via Google Chrome. I tried both the Akaimi and the alternate files, and neither worked.
When I downloaded the alternate files via Firefox, they worked first time. No further tinkering required.

Please help - frustrated to no end. Can someone help me?

make sure you're using the adobe cleaner, not crap cleaner, Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
copy the installation files to a desktop folder and install from there.
