well, we have SBS2011 Standard wich has PowerShell 1.0 in the system32 subfolder.
I am not shure how to install v2.0 due to same Problems as mentioned above. my ps1 cmdlets are not beeing recognized :-(

Go back and read the post very carefully. Perform all instructions as written. You do NOT have PowerShell V1 installed on SBS 2011. It cannot be installed on 2011. The folder you are looking at has nothing to do with the version.

Did you mean Windows Server 2008? There is no Windows Server 2007 Enterprise.

Problem installing Powershell 4.0 in Windows 7

I am having troubles installing Powershell 4.0 in my Windows 7 Pro system.
I downloaded WMF 4.0 and it installed without any error message. When starting PS it still shows 2.0.
I tried to start the powershell with -version 4 but it is telling me the version is not installed.
Initially .NET 4.5.1 was installed. I uninstalled this version and installed 4.5. I also unistalled WMF 4.0 and reinstalled it.
Still PS 4.0 is not available.
Any further hints why this is not working?

Error Installing InDesign CS3 Server on Windows Server 2008 R2 64BIT

Hello there-
I'm trying to install InDesign CS3 Server on Windows Server 2008 R2 64BIT (x64) Edition, however, we get a failure indication on the installer. Before, we have installed it properly on Windows Server 2008 R2 32BIT (x32) but some how we cannot proceed on a x64 box.
Is there any limitation on this sense? Any documentation about it?

The following command can be used to set the parameter from the command prompt, please
change the directory to Windows\System32\inetserv and then execute the command.
appcmd setconfig /section:requestFiltering/requestLimits.maxAllowedContentLength:150000000
The value is only an example, in this case the upload limit is set to 150MB.Server has to be restarted
after execution of this command.
Also, are you using Maxdb to store the files or is it a "flat files" content server ?

The only reason because of which you are facing these error's is that your machine does not meet minimum system requirements available for this product to work .Windows 8 is avaiable for CS6 and above products only .

I'm trying to install AppFabric 1.1 on Windows 8.1 64bit.
The installer is failing to install all ApFabric features. Looking at the event log i see the following error:

Installation from 'Remote desktop Connection' is OK as far as the 'Installation Master DVD i.e. installation program' is placed at the 'Server where SAP needs to be installed'. In that case, 'sapinst.exe' program needs to be executed.
So let me ask, where is you SAPInst Master DVD is placed ? Is it on Windows Server where SAP is to be installed or is it place on that Remote desktop windows host ? If it is placed on remote desktop windows host and then you are trying to run installation program there on this remote desktop host to install the SAP on 'Actual windows server/Customer server' - In that case that remote host installation SAP Note is to be considered.
If you are using 'Remote desktop' connection just to access the Actual Windows server/customer server (which is a common connection practice to access the customer windows host) and SAPinst program is placed at that actual server itself then 'sapinst.exe' program is needed to install SAP.
Please confirm the DVD number you are using as 'SAP Installation Master'. It should be for 64 bit.

Error installing BI Publisher Desktop in Windows 7 64bits with Office 2010

Hello
I'm having a problem when trying to install the latest version of BI Publisher Desktop on my computer (Windows 7-64bits with Office 2010).
Almost at the end of the installation it appears a message box saying "Template Builder installer failed: Cannot run installer while Mocrosoft Word is running". Now, i made sure all Office apps are closed, as well as IE windows. What i've noticed is that right before this error appears, a process for WINWORD.exe is open - by the installer.
How can i fix this?

Fatal error installing software photosmart c7250 on windows vista 32 bit

Issue with Uninstall and Install print driver software on my PC - printer is HP Photosmart all in one C7250 - wireless network hook-up
My printer had been working for many years. Then some of the photo print functionality had stopped working - I suspect because there may have been a conflict with multiple HP print drivers on my PC. So I attempted to Unistall all HP software (via window uninstall). All successfully uninstalled except:

I was able to manually unistall the first 2 files since I could see where they were located. But I have no idea about the other 2 becasue the error message did not provide full name as you can see. I tried to install anyway (using HP Solution for Install Errors - Windows Vista). Followed all instructions. The install of latest driver/software (downloaded from the HP website) got as far as detecting my wireless printer; then it gets stuck at the config stage at 96% for 15+ minutes - then runtime error situation code 07417929. HELP! I think it's all becasue I can't unistall these phantom files. does anyone have advice?

After above, I am able to print in the basic way - but my HP Solution Center Software in not operational. Message when I try to open Solution Center is "No HP Devices habe been detected."
I have a LOG file with some PRT Screens that I wish I could attach to this note (can't figure out how). It may give more insight to the errors.

The security settings are for local security, if you are not in a corporate enviroment, there should be no reason to worry.
Something we have not tried yet would be to
1. Uninstall the current HP software.
2. Turn off the printer and unplug it.
3. Install the software, and at the point it asks whether it is a wireless or wired connection, choose wireless, and when the configuration window pops up immediately cancel it.
4. It will go back to the page that asks you if it is a wired or wireless connection, choose cancel again and select OK.
5. It will finish installation then ask about placing an icon on the desktop, choose yes and tell it to complete the software installation and place an icon on the desktop.
6. Once that completes, plug in the printer, turn it on, and click on the icon to have it search for, configure, and install the printer.

Error installing itunes 10.5 on windows vista

I keep getting an error message that says something about the windows installer when I try to download itunes 10.5

You should probably begin by doing all your windows vista windows updates, those should take care of updating windows installer.
Once you're updated on windows, you should check to see if you have a 64bit version of windows.
If you do, you'll want to install the 64bit version of itunes: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1427

Error installing SAP B1 Client on Windows 7

after having installed by mistake a PL not supported on Windows 7 , i have uninstalled B1 Client , and reinstall after updating the server ( 2007 / SP01 /PL07 ) .
i managed to install , but B1 is unable to connect to SAP Server . when i click "change company" on the first screen ,i saw only "MSQL" in the list box , and no MSSQL2005 . when i try to "Change Server" , and after "OK" , server is not updated in the main screen , and i have the following message in the log :
"Error renaming SQL driver to MSI executable"

Error installing AIR 3.3 on Windows 7 64 -bit machine

Hello, I am getting the following error when trying to install an AIR application onto a specific Windows 7 64-bit machine. It seems to be only happening to this one machine. I am installing as Administrator. Any thoughts? Thanks
