I am getting this error after installing SAP Server and after that the client. But the Error keep Comming back:
IP Address or Server Name for the Licences Server.

If it's 3.1 just change them, shouldn't cause any issues if by domain name you are referring to changing the domain the computer belongs to. If you are changing your domain for AD authentication then you will may have to take quite a few steps if the old domain is going away. Let us know.

I was trying to sync two cubes, basically one has to go to the other.
This is the script
refresh replicated partition 'app2'.'db2' from 'app1'.'db1' at $COMPUTERNAME all data;
However, when I check the logs, I get this error message
ERROR - 1023001 - No matching region defined for the specified server,app,db:
How do we fix this error. When I checked some of the essbase erro docs, I dont find it.

Do you get any additional information in your app log?If so, can you post the message.We run on UNIX (solaris) here and ran into an issue with host-name resolution that turned out to be hostname cache problem. I don't know if you have similar on AIX.

Please help me resolve the Lync server 2013 deployment error: "An error occurred while applying SQL script for the feature BackendStore."

I am getting an error in "Step 2 - Setup or Remove Lync Server Components" of "Install or Update Lync Server System" step.
"An error occured while applying SQL script for the feature BackendStore. For details, see the log file...."
Additionally, all previous steps such as: Prepare Active Directory, Prepare first Standard Edition server, Install Administrative Tools, Create and publish topology are done without any errors. The user that I used to setup the Lync server is member of:

I Had similar issue i end up uninstalling and reinstallting but same issue, then i change the drive but same issue. It was I/O issue. After adjusting my I/O it fix our issue and installation went on without any issue.

To load that file with BULK INSERT, use this format file:

SecLDAP plugin failed to get name for the entry XIR2 SP2

When a user who is in the ldap store attempts to log into InfoView, after about 10 minutes, he gets a message as follows:
Account Information Not Recognized: An error occurred at the server: the secLdap plugin failed to get the name for the entry with dn=cn= with what appears to be appropriate information. This user does not appear to have a presence in BO (does not have an inbox, favorites, etc) nor does he appear in the ldap userlist in the CMC.
Can you describe the functionality contained in this plugin ? It's function ?

I am using my AD in Windows Azure VMs. I created new VM of A3 (4 cores, 7 GB Memory) Windows Server 2012 R2, Port 1433 MSSQL added, made it a member of Domain and planned to install first Lync Server 2013 on it.
In "Setup or Remove Lync Server Components" of "Install or Update Lync Server System", got an Red Coloured text "An error
occurred while applying SQL script for the feature BackendStore."
I have not enabled monitoring and archiving server in topology builder. I added "Network Service" and assign "Full Control" in Security Permissions of "C:\CsData" and "C:\LyncShare".
I executed the SQL Setup Wizard and upgraded any instance to 2012.
Please guide.

Please check you have enough disk space for the disk where the folders are.
Check view log for detailed log information.

Error while modifying icon and name in the subpalette

Hi.... I have made three subVIs and want to distribute as LabVIEW library.
I made a llb file and added all three sbVIs in that. And put it in user.lib. In all three dll there are Call Library Function means I have one dll. I have put this DLL in the use.lib folder.
Problem:
The icon and name of my application in the LabVIEW "User Libraries" pallete are default. I want it to set automatically set to my desire icon for that subpallete and desire name as well. How can I do that?
I am using LabVIEW 6i. I tried to change the icon and name. And I tried according to following link and in the third step it says
"Right-click an icon in the custom view and remove the checkmark next to Synchronize with Directory in the shortcut menu."
But that option is greyed out, how can I remove checkmark against that.

I also tried to rename readonly.txt file in default folder in menu folder. I tried to add in default folder but it does not sucess. It is always giving error that please check the read only attribute.
One Dll is used in all three subVIs. When I set relative path ".\MY_DLL.dll" in the configuration of Call Library Function then it is chaging it to absolute path automatically.
I want it relative so that when user put my_llb.llb file and my_dll.dll file into user.lib folder then it will automatically take that dll instead of searching for that DLL in the nearest location. What should I do?
Do I require to buy Application Builder for that-specially for setting my own icon & name for "subPallete" of my library.

Here are step-by-step instructions on how
to insert a custom sub-palette in the Instrument Drivers or User
Libraries palettes in LabVIEW 6.0 and above.
Save one of the VIs required for the instrument driver as a library (*.llb):
Select File»Save or Save As to display the Name the VI dialog box.
Click the New VI Library button to display the New VI Library dialog box.
Enter the name of the new library and click the VI Library button.
LabVIEW automatically adds a .llb extension to the name of the library.
The Name the VI dialog box reappears. Enter the name of your VI to save it in the new library.
Close LabVIEW.
Browse to the directory where LabVIEW is installed and open the
"instr.lib" folder to insert a new menu into the Instrument Drivers
palette (or the user.lib for the User Libraries palette). Create a new
folder and name it appropriately. Copy the .llb file into that new
folder.
Open LabVIEW and open a new VI. Pin down the
palette by right clicking and clicking on the push-pin on the upper
left hand corner so that the palette is fixed on the screen. Then click
on the Options button on the toolbar at the top.
Select
the "Edit Palettes..." button. Navigate to the Instrument Drivers
palette and right click on the icon with the name of the folder that
you created. Select "Delete Submenu".
Right click on an open area on the palette and select Insert»Submenu.
When prompted, select "Create a new menu file (.mnu)". Save this in the
folder that you created in step __. (Remember to type the .mnu file
extension on your file name) Typically this mnu file is named dir.mnu.
When prompted, enter the name for the submenu, and select ok.
Open the new submenu. Now you can insert VIs (by right clicking in the empty space and going to Insert»VI
and selecting it from the .llb file) or additional submenus as you
desire. When creating new submenus, it is recommended to create a new
.mnu file for each submenu and save it in the folder you created.
Next you can edit the icons for the submenus by right clicking and selecting Edit Submenu Icon.
When you are finished, select "Save Changes" from the "Edit Controls and Palettes" dialog box.
To port the new menu in the Instrument Drivers palette onto another
computer with LabVIEW, just copy the folder (and its contents) that you
created and paste it into the instr.lib folder. When LabVIEW is loaded
it will see the new folder and load the menus.
Note:
If you save the changes and return to add more submenus you may receive
an error instructing you to check the read-only properties. To fix
this, begin the editing process. Then right click on the menu that you
created in the Instrument Drivers palette and select "Synchronize with
Directory" so that the check mark beside it disappears. This will allow
you to save your changes. For more information on this see the related

Simple name for the portal path

Hello.
Is is possible to setup Apache as to have a simple name for the http:\\servername\pls\etc.etc.etc. address? How do i set this up?

Thx, but i wanted something like this:
the address
http://<servername>:<portnumber>/pls/portal30/etc.etc.etc.
should be contacted only by typing the following address:
http:/portal
The homepage of Portal should be shown then. I managed it now, but that is not the right way. Normally, when you type the servername, you will see an information page on Apache. I edited that page, so that it redirects in zero seconds to the url where portal is running.
But that is not a real nice way to do it. Any ideas?

Error "codepage could not be determined for the receiver-system"

Hi,
we use the idoc-adapter to send message from mySAP ERP to PI.
All worked fine.
So, this morning I have changed the datatype of the messageId from "char" to "int" in mySAP ERP in the customizing menue (install param). So, no message received in SAP PI.
When I start transction "we05" in mySAPERP" I get the following error:
"codepage could not be determined for the receiver-system" status 02.
I have changed the datatyp to "char" but the same probleme
Can anybody help me please?

This error shouldn't occur unless there is some modification at the OS level codepages.
Please check the entried in the RFC destination for connecting to the XI system. Unicode settings.

I have internal order no value in table AUFK-AUFNR , and the internal order corresponding Scheme value is available in IMPR-PRNAM . Now I want to inner join both the tables to extract the data , but there is no common field . Is there any Function module or BAPIs are available to get scheme name for the internal orders?

Print program name for the dunning form F150_FR_DUNN_01 in sapscript

I am not getting the exact print program name for the dunning form F150_FR_DUNN_01 in sapscript. After an extensive search I have come across few names of print program like SAPF150D2 and SAPLF150. But still I am not understanding which one to use for the form and also how to use it. I am unable to understand which include I should use to write my code.
Kindly help me.

Yes, you should be able to assign F150_FR_DUNN_01 in Dunning Forms customizing:
and yes, I too would absolutely try to go for either a Smartform or even a PDF Form (if i'd have all the necessary setup for them, like Adobe Document Services, in the system already). I have Basis 702 SP 0011and FINBASIS 600 SP 0021, so all the following technicalities refer to those releases:
The corresponding SAP sample Forms are:
- F150_DUNN_SF for Smartform; and
- F150_DUNN_SF for pdf Form (don't let the name confuse you )
I'm not entirely sure if it's a good idea to try to convert/migrate Sapscript to Smartform and the Smartform to PDF Form - have never done that myself and don't know how good/usable the migration result is. I just take the interface of Smartform from SAP and do the rest from scratch or by copying over the common parts of our existing custom forms.
There are the SAP Standard wrapper FMs for SF and PDF forms already in the System:
- FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_SMARTF calling PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_SF and
- FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_PDF calling PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_PDF.
So, theoretically, all you had to do to replace SapScripts (or even to enable all three form types) is to assign a custom BTE Event handler FM to event 1720 (for correct Application), which could detect, what type of form is assigned in Customizing and call the corresponding wrapper FM.
As a sample for coding PDF form wrapper call one could take FI_PSO_EVENT_00001720_PDF (if you have IS-PS) in the system. I'd take out the IS-PS specific "business logic" like posting dunning charges (if it does not apply to my solution) and add the logic to decide, which wrapper to call.
The confusing part about the customizing (Table T047E) to me is that there seems to be no form type defined anywhere in there... just the FORNR field for form name, which should apparently take the names of all three form types... I'd try to extend that table with custom Form type field and try to regenerate Table Maintenance dialog for view Cluster VC_T047_F... That would save the whole effort to try to detect the type for form assigned...
Another tip, in case you didn't know it already: you should be able to see all the Customizing paths, where T047E is involved, when you enter table name in SM30 and press "Customizing" and then "Continue w/o Specifying Project":
The selected entry is the one you are looking for to assing your custom forms, I believe.
