When I double click on the Firefox icon, a box pops up heading Javascript Application and inside is the error message as detailed above. The box offers only one option "OK" and once I click on that the program works well. I access emails online and when I click on the respons button or to send a new email, the same error message pops up.

I have been unable to find out any details about this specific error message, other than for Google Chrome, which is strange because although I have Chrome installed I don't use it, I use either Internet Explorer or - most often - Firefox. This error is only occurring on the Firefox browser and is not isolated to any specific website (it happens regardless of what website I view, including this page).
I have also sent a query to Sun Microsystems - Java support.I found this on a customer pc.
I removed an application with a firefox plugin called i5 Alert Button.
After Disabling the plugin in firefox I did not get the error anymore.
During the unistall I saw it removing the bolototoolbar file as well.
If you have this application try removing it. -
This error keeps popping up every couple of minutes.

Lightning does not update my calendars hosted on owncloud any more, unless I manually sync the calenders. Even then it takes minutes.
Any ideas? The problem still happens in '''Firefox 9.0.1''' (see below).
Installing Remote XUL Manager may be a workaround, but I´m concerned about security.

I tried to download a pictures at a number of sites, but I never succeed.
I installed some suggested add-ons to help the download proces: 'downthemall' and 'downloadhelper' but they didn't help. I went to help and did the suggested action by means of 'about:config' to fix the problem but still I get the next failure. I would be pleased if anyone can explain what it means. I would be even more pleased if anyone could solve this.

The only way this might be possible is by using the HostContainer object

Within the past few days when there was a Firefox update, every time I start Firefox, I get the following message (shortened in the middle): Exception..."Component returned failure code: 0x80004005...skype_ff.extension/content/browser Overlay.js"
When I clicked on a link on the US Bank website, I received [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [ISkypeFfExtension.Initialize]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://skype_ff_extension/content/browserOverlay.js :: <TOP_LEVEL> :: line 9" data: no]
In both cases, if I click OK, the process I requested then takes place. What do I need to do?If you're having this issue open Firefox, go to Tools on the Firefox tabs at the top of your browser window, and click on Add-ons. This will take you to your Add-ons page. Click on Extensions on the right side of the screen and scroll down to the Skype extension add-on. Click on "Disable" to disable this extension. Once this extension is disabled your problem should be fixed. In my case it repaired the problem.
