  • Install Warning in iPhone Configuration Utility

I'm creating a profile for a VPN and in the past I have been able to create a warning for when the User installs it, it appears after the user hits install and gives them warning before they have to hit install again. I can no longer find this option does anyone know where it is?

Virgin Mobile in the UK is not a supported carrier. You will have to work with them to get it configured and working if it's possible. I know it's been discussed here before. Perhaps a search of the forums will help.

  • How come apps crash on ipad's when deployed through iphone configuration utility?

When installing app's to nine iPad 2's, they install, however, they crash on startup for each user. How come this happens?

I purchased the app on one of the ipads, sync'd it to itunes, and imported the app file into the IPCU and selected install with the ipad's connected to the computer that IPCU is running on.
What is best practice to deploy these app's (without having them crash) to multiple ipads (whether it be with a wire or wirelessly)?
Also, to answer your question, yes the ipads have all other functionality - safari works, settings are able to be customized, and everything else works (except for the apps installed)

  • HT1338 i reinstall my macbook pro after i try to install application software but i am getting error during installation.

i reinstall mac os through mac dvd after completing installation  i try to install application through application dvd but its showing error during installation. IPhoto,IDVD ,etc all these software i need to install but getting problem. Please resolve my problem.I checked my hardware test i passed .

    Hi,
Try cleaning the DVD and try again. It could be that you have a bad disc.
Open the "Console" application. "Applications -> Utilities" are there any diagnostic messages or error logs, crash reports in the Console window? If a program crashes during the installation, post the error message. The first fifty lines of the crash log should suffice.
I'm guessing that it could be that certificate expired so the installer package is no longer trusted. You can try setting the date on your Mac back to around the date you bought it and try the installation again. I hope this helps. If not and you may need to request a new DVD.
Let me know how it goes.

  • After installing iTunes 10.7 the iPhone Configuration Utility will not open?

I installed iTunes 10.7 yesterday when prompted but can no longer open the iPhone Configuration Utility - nothing happens and there are no errors.  Have re-installed the IPCU but it still won't open.  Are others having this issue? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance . . . .

    I tried,
    1) Uninstall Apple Mobile Device Support
    2) Uninstall iPCU
    3) Reinstall iPCU
But still iPCU does not open. I think it is due to Itunes 10.7.
Also I could not get Itunes 10.6.3 from apple site.
I tried to uninstall complete apple softwares from my system.
Then installed itunes 10.3 and iPCU 3.5.
iPCU worked, but itunes did not recognize connected Iphone 4S.

  • IPhone Configuration Utility OS3 HostID Error

Ever since installing OS3 on my iPhone I cannot get the iPhone Configuration Utility to work. I keep getting the error:
iPhone Configuration Utility has enountered an unexpected error from your mobile device. Error: "kAMDInvalidHostIDError".
    Anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks
    Joe

    Hi Joe,
If you haven't already, try updating to the latest iPhone Configuration Utility.

Also, make sure the iPhone is directly connected to a high-speed USB2 port on the PC.

Hi everyone, this issue is from one of our customer, Ravi Hegde. The error message is " the procedure entry point EventWrite could not be located in the dynamic link lirary ADVAPI32.dll" when try to install the Lync 2010 client in a windows XP
    manchine.
does anyone here meet the same issue before and share the solution? many thanks.

    Hi Alex,
    Please open an elevated command prompt and run the below command;
    sfc /scannow
    In the event that this doesn't work you might try some of the the below from reading;
1.) jumping back to a realistic restore point that doesn't create a load of work for you in regards to program installation
2.) performing a repair on the OS
3.) Installing all outstanding windows and office updates as these often replace the existing DLL
    4.) Repair of Microsoft Office
5.) clean OS install or image deployment
    Kind regards
    Ben

It looks like you may have extracted the files to C:\sp2013. Can you try installing from a mounted ISO instead? Can you also validate that this is Server 2012 and not 2012 R2?

receive error code 2349   when trying to install iTunes.  Any idea what that code means and how to correct?

It's a better bet with a 2330, but the first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
Vista instructions in the following document: Check your hard disk for errors
Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

  • Error code 0x80070BC9 when trying to install itunes

I'm getting error code 0x80070BC9 when trying to install iTunes

These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? Are they also 80070BC9, or some other number? (If they're another number, what number are you getting?)
