Error launching introscope installer

Hello,
I'm trying to install Wily Introscope in the server of my Solution Manager 4.0. The server is a PA-RISC 64 bits HP-UNIX. When i launch the installation this messages appear and the installation cancel:
Preparing to install...
Extracting the JRE from the installer archive...
Unpacking the JRE...
Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive...
Configuring the installer for this system's environment...
Launching installer...
Error: could not find libjava.sl
Error: could not find Java 2 Runtime Environment.
I have revised the JAVA_HOME path and all isw correct and the library exist on it.
Somebody can help me, please?

Hello Carlos,
If you want to run the Enterprise Manager on a 64 Java VM, you can
use Platform Independent Introscope Installer.
Then specify the path of your Java 1.5 64 bits installed, in the script runem.nohup.sh to launch Introscopr Enterprise Manager.

    three ideas:
    1. installer.properties file
    try to edit your installer.properties file.
    first move this and your char to your destination, usually usr/sap/ccms
    Win (doubled // and
    needed instead of single / \
    usr
    sap
    ccms
    wilyintroscope
    Unix
    usr//sap//ccms//wilyintroscope//
    2. are you sure that your downloaded file fits your system parameters, especially the cpu version (x86, IA64, x64) -
    3. is your jre installed correctly? try to install the jre first and run the installer afterwards
    If all of this is not your cause - try to find a logfile - maybee in your temp-install-dir.

    Hi Chinmay,
    Make sure PATH env variable has appropriate JDK entry and it is ahead of any older version JDK entries. Issue may be because of older version of JDK in PATH or there may be no JDK at all.

  • Windows 7 64bits Installing Internet Explorer 11 ERROR Neutral package installation failed

    Hi,
    The laptop is running Windows 7 64bits with Internet Explorer 10 and the Windows automatic updates is turned on. The problem happens when the Windows keeps installing the Internet Explorer 11 every time between shutdown process. So I decided to download
    IE11 offline installation and try to install from it but the problem doesn't solve, the installation still does not complete. I have tried to delete all files in the Windows temp folder and IE temp folder already but the problem still exist.

    DISM.log would make this clearer.  And using ProcMon I suspect would really make it snap out at you.   <eg>

    Unfortunately, since then others have quickly stuck a pin in this balloon, finding that it is just one more bump in the road, but at least working around this coding error should change your symptom.

    I have tried to create a symbolic link as suggested on a forum but the problem still cannot be solved. The error message from IE11_main.log file is exactly the same as before.

    Trying to install a HP Officejet 4500 G510g-m onto a HP Desktop PC with Windows Vista.
    Error message reads:

    When searching for the code 1603, I found a trouble shooting number (c02455020)
     When I run the program regsvr32 Atl.dll it came up with 
    DII Register Server failed with error code 0x2002801c
    But the com product was already registered, the computer has been re-started 12 times.  So I cannot understand why I cannot install the complete printer, why is telling me that only the basics can be installed.  I purchased and ll-in-one because I need it all not just a printer.
    Be so kind to enlighten me.
    My father's patience has ended, and before he packs it back into the box, I am willing to troubleshoot it with you.

    How could I force the installation to not be done with graphical env?
    I think by default is searching for the graphical libraries. Do you mean Oracle installation? Unfortunately you can't.

    Hi Elmar,
    I have checked the packages and the XFree86-libs-4.3.99 is not installed. I guess I will have to install it.
    Now your question about oracle user. I am not sure if you have performed any SAP MDM installation with ORACLE RDBMS but the installation guide is totally different than the normal SAP inst guides. Indeed someone needs to install separately SAP MDM and ORACLE and in my installation I do not install NetWeaver since it is not mandatory for the testing phase of the project. You can have a look at the guide (it is very poor -no reference to ORACLE details):

    So the official ORACLE inst gudie says to install the ORACLE software with the oracle user.

    We hope your issue has been resolved, if you've found solution by yourself. We would appreciate it if you could share with us and we will mark it as answer.
    I am looking to your log find that it's trying to launch DISM from c:\windows\SysNative. You might try build a symbolic link from c:\windows\system32 (where DISM lives) to the non-existent path c:\windows\SysNative. Then check the issue again.
    To build a symbolic link, try workaround as Brian's reply to this thread.

  • "An error occurred during installation" OS X Lion

    I downloaded Lion from the Mac App Store - download went fine. After the installer rebooted and the actual installation began, I keep getting a message stating "An error occurred during installation" at the "About 28 minutes" time. No clue what to do here, so any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I have a new model MacBook running Snow Leopard.

    So you did hold Command option r and booted, not just Command r?
    You saw a globe turning as Internet Recovery loaded from Apple's servers?
    You need to connected to the Internet to load this from Apple, either by Ethernet cable or using the Wifi connection.

    diskutil list

  • Error launching Photoshop from Lightroom

    I use Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 and Lightroom 5 from the Creative Cloud. After upgrading to Yosemite I am getting an error launching Photoshop from Lightroom. When I right click an image in Lightroom and select edit in Photoshop I get an error: "Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory, Please reinstall the application." I reinstalled Photoshop CC 2014 and I am still getting the error. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Uninstall Photoshop, Lightroom and the CC app, run the Adobe CC Cleaner tool, and re-install.  Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

    We can sometimes get past this particular message by reregistering the Windows Installer Service.
    First, launch a command prompt as an administrator. In your Start search, type cmd then right-click on the cmd that comes up and select "Run as administrator".
    If you have a 32 bit system
    At the command prompt:
    Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
    Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
    Restart the PC and try another install.
    If you have a 64-bit system
    At the command prompt:
    Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
    Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
    Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
    Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
    Restart the PC and try another install.

    please help i attach a photo with log , this is a brend new domain contoroller of a brand new domain.
    i installed th wsus from server manager .

    the installion location is the default installion path - C:\Program Files\Update Services
    the content folder was directed to a diffrent volume - e:\wsus\
    i tried to delete everything that connected to iis and wsus and re install and now i am getting:

  • Launching the installer for CS5 Design Premium

    I downloaded a copy of CS5 Design Premium for Mac and attempted to launch the installer but received the following error message: "Install" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. How can I launch the installer so I can activate the software?

    That message is from Apple's new Gatekeeper feature in OS X Mavericks. Nothing to do with Adobe.
    You can temporarily bypass Gatekeeper in order to install the software
