Error loading master data text

Hi all,
When I does a data load from PSA for master data text,
error appears whcih shows "0OI_PBLTYP : Data record 3 ('INFO') : Language key is initial".
Please tell me why this error.
Hint:I have 17 records in PSA for 11 location types.
11 in English and 6 in German.

Hi Chintu,
Since you have made the info-object as "language-dependent" the system is looking for lang-key in the data. You can either enter the lang-key in the pSA directly. But if the source system is R/3 my suggestion would be that you pick up the lang-key for the datasource. This would ensure that you dont have to edit the PSA each time you load.

I have selected the check box in the Infoobject Characteristic with the export data source and then replicated the data source in BI 7.0.

Last week I have a problem similar, try to generate 80GL_ACCOUNTT in BI 7.0 first, right clikc in infosource (0GL_ACCOUNTT) -> Generate Export Datasource.

within the admin workbench goto source systems, right click on your source system and click on transfer global settings. There you can choose fiscal year variants and some other options to be loaded to BW.

BPC75NW: Error Loading Master data for BPC Dimensions from BW InfoObject

Hello Gurus,
I'm trying to load master data for BPC Dimensions from BW Infoobjects.
The ID thats used in BW is 32 char long. When I run the load, the ID is truncated after 20 chars and the records are reported as duplicates.
Due to this the load is failing.
I cannot use any other ID as the texts will not be loaded in that case.
Is there any work around to handle this?
I cannot load the transaction data either.
I looked at some posts and blogs in sdn, but nothing really helped.

I tried using a additional Dimension property to hold the 32 char ID. But I cannot access this in the transformation.
Is there a way to refer the dimension property in the Transformation file or in the UJD_ROUTINE BADI implementation?

Error loading Master Data ARFCSTATE = SYSFAIL.

Hi All,
When I am trying to load master data 1 data package is not getting loaded, from R/3 the job is getting completed but in BW it is still in Yellow when I checked the job log in R/3 where in that it is showing ARFCSTATE = SYSFAIL.
It shows that from R/3 itself data package has problem.
Can anyone help me in solving this issue.

Hi,
I will suggest you to check a few places where you can see the status
1) sysfail in SM37 generally means that packet was not send to BW side. But this may not be true in all cases. Rarely We have come acroos situations where you can see sysfail for a particular package in R/3 but will find that packet updated into PSA. Chek this in RSMO > Details.
In case you dont find that packet in BW PSA. Try this.
Go to R/3 > SM37 > goto datacpacket with sysfail. Adjacent to that sysfail message you will a TID no.
Copy that and got to SM58 and search for that in the tRFC pending. There will be one with the same TID or Transact ID. Execute it. The Packet may get transfered to BW.
If it doesnt happen you may have to retrigger the load.
Else Once you identify you can rectify the error.
If all the records are in PSA you can pull it from the PSA to target. Else you may have to pull it again from source infoprovider.

Error loading master data RSDMD114

Attempting to load master data - several objects fail with message:
RSDMD114, "The Master Data is deleted in the background"
I went as far as to delete all of the old data and start again.
The object was reactivated.
No locks found on the lock tables.
Still getting the error.
Anyone seen this before ?

The problem has been solved.
The data deletion job failed - so the control table was still set to show that the deletion run was in progress.
Table RSDCHABASDEL, Status Logging for Master Data Deletion.
Delete the entry from this table, look for the name of the object in question.
Everything ran OK with the entry cleared from the table.

Langauage issue -when loading master data text

I have a customer master data attribute and text .
This is master data is customized one. With in function module based on sy-langu it will extract the English,German,French.... customer data
R/3 side -Rsa3 transaction when i logon each logon language it is extracting the correct information with text values based on the logon language.
When I am loading the data for each language it is not loading.It is updating only the english.
I logged on as french ,German loaded data attribute and text also. Still it is not updating in the master data text values with french ,german.
Infopackage selection also I set DE and French.
Master data Infoobject - Text language dependent is marked also.

Almost at the bottom of the page there is the description about the language vector. The settings made in this vector control the extracted languages. As a standard all installed languages in the system are marked here.

Error in Process Chain while loading Master data text?

Hello All
Having a Process chain and having 5 infopackages(Master data Attri & text)with FULL LOAD with an processing options as PSA and Infobject.In this one of the infopackage failed and the status is in red colour,and when I right clicked there is no repeat option?Now how to run this process?
Heard that v can restart the process in debug screen?can anyone let me know how to do this?

Hi dear,
you don't find the repeat option because this is a full load...I think you can easily restart the entire PC (or loading directly the failed infopackage from RSA1), because full loads for master data don't cause any data duplication !

Error loading master data attr and text for 0material

Hi gurus,
I am new to BI, I am getting an error RSDMD- 194 when i am loading 0MATERIAL_ATTR and TEXT.
It is showing for nearly 100 records in the error stack.
Can anyone explain some basics,
1) why do we need to add 0MATERIAL to a particular Info area to start loading its ATTR and TEXT
2) Are the info objects that appear in the attributes tab of 0MATERIAL the same as the fields of 0MATERIAL_ATTR datasource, basically what i don't understand is are we mapping the 0MATERIAL_ATTR datsource fields to the info objects appearing in the attributes tab of 0MATERIAL info object.
3) Also when i added 0MATERIAL to my Info Area , there were some extra info objects that got in, are there any dependent objects that get added ?

Please check if there is any external characterstic in those 100 records, correct it and load again.

It does,t matter where the 0Material is. Info area in kind of Folder to easily locate and put the all the related objects at one place.
2) Are the info objects that appear in the attributes tab of 0MATERIAL the same as the fields of 0MATERIAL_ATTR datasource, basically what i don't understand is are we mapping the 0MATERIAL_ATTR datsource fields to the info objects appearing in the attributes tab of 0MATERIAL info object.
If it is a business content infosource, it will automatically map the attribute to data source field. If you are modifying or creating your own object, you should map it manually based on field name and description.
3) Also when i added 0MATERIAL to my Info Area , there were some extra info objects that got in, are there any dependent objects that get added ?
If you will move any objects all the compounded objects will also come to the info area.

Error loading master data

One of the master data variable(0customer), is unable to load data.
rsmo has status red but data is loaded with errors is the message
The error message is as follows..
Error records written to application log
error 4 in the update.
i have planned to delete the request number, but i could not find
the same for the master data variable.

Error loading master data 0project_attr

Hi all,
I get an error when i load the master data 0project_attr. The overall status is red, but it shows all records are being transferred( 71 from 71 records). I'm using transfer rules. The error is shown is " Error 4 in the update "

if you are using ALPHA conversion for infoobject either remove ALPHA or remove the spaces.
Also check the settings at RSKC and check if RSKC_ALL_CAPITAL is maintained or not.
what was the detailed error ??

How to Load Master data text Description into the Data Target?

Hi,
I have a Master data which is an ID, and the description for that ID is added as text description along with the master data.
The datasource is a flat file load, which has both the fields i.e. ID as well as the description along with many other fields.
I need to load the flat file without changing it, into the ODS.
Please suggest a way to load the description of the ID along with the ID into the ODS, and then further into the CUBE.
This description field should be available, while checking the contents of the ODS as well as the CUBE.

Load Master Data Text for 0COSTELMNT

Hello,
I would like to load text for master Data Cost Element (infosource 0COSTELMNT). The loading is Ok but, when I execute the infopackage the next time, I have the status yellow and the message "The data request was a full update. In this case, the corresponding table in the source system does not contain any data. System response
Info IDoc received with status 8.".
It's normal that there are no news datas to upload but the problem is that the process remains not yet completed.
The parameters of the scheduler are :
- selection : none and "Use conversion routine"
- Processing : PSA and then in the InfoObject
- Update : Full update and Fixed Time Interval (start date : today, end date : 31.12.2006)
- Schedule : Start Data Load Immediately
The option Treatment of Warning is set to green.

On the R/3 system, when I launch RSA3 and Extraction for the DataSource 0COSTELMNT_TEXT, the result is 0 enreg too (no selection in the screen).

Error while loading master data text

Hi all,
I have scheduled my first load into Production for a text datasource which still shows as running but when I looked into the Details tab I found the below error:
Transfer (IDocs and TRFC): Errors occured
- Request IDoc : Application document not posted.
I checked the IDoc in R/3 and found that it is with Status 51 - Application Document not posted. The error it is showing there is "Request REQU_XXXX is not available in target system YYYY".
What could be the reason for this? What shall I do to resolve it?

Hi,
right click your source system in BW and perform a check. Most likely the connection is not setup properly.
If this check failed
Check RFC destination:
- from BW, SM59, open your source system destination; test connection and from the menu, test authorizations.
- perform the same from your R3 source system with your BW connection.
If RFC are fine most probably the partner profiles and/or the ports are not configured properly.
Let BW perform this task for you: right click your source system and execute a restore. You will require
- administrative rights on the source system
- open the source system client so that bw can delete and recreate the partner and ports profile (SCC4: automatic recording of changes/ changes to rep and cross client allowed)
- ALE/ALEREMOTE or your communication users passwords...
With this follow the steps proposed by the restore procedure. ; when the system prompts to delete the connection, do so. You replicate metadata at the end as well...

How to Load Master Data Text from Multiple Source Systems

Situation: Loading vendor master (text) from two systems. Some of the vendor keys/number are the same and so is the description. I understand that if I was loading Attributes, I could create another attribute such a source system id and compound it to 0Vendor. However, I don't believe you can do the same when loading text.
Question: So, how can I load duplicate vendor keys and description into BW using the *_TEXT datasource so they do not overwrite?

Don't doubt, it'll work!
Sys ID as compound to 0Vendor.
If you doubt about predefined structure of the *_TEXT datasource and direct infosource, then use a flexible infosource. Maybe you'll have to derive the sys ID in a routine or a formula.
