Error Loading Search channel

I've getting this new error message in Safari:
"There was an error loading the search channel repository. The server is probably down." And then the page I'm trying to access loads anyway.
The point is, I had never seen this message before and I don't understand what a "channel repository" is. Also, I know the site I was trying to access - www.cellep.com - is up and running. So what server is the message referring to?
Any help would be most welcome.

Hi Dan,
The AcidSearch preference file is com.pozytron.AcidSearch.plist located in either your Main or User Account Library Preferences folder. The other significant file - AcidSearch.bundle is either in your Main or User Account Library>InputManagers folder or in Application Support>SIMBL>Plugins folder (mine is located in the latter area).
It may be the .bundle file is the problem. To test, and and also preserve your existing preferences, move the AS preference file to the desktop and restart the computer. If the error message appears again, then I'd install a fresh copy of AS. If no error message appears, then the preferences file was corrupt. In this case you can move the file on the desktop to the trash, while reestablishing your AS preferences by clicking on the upside down triangle in your Safari search window - (bottom of the drop-down list).
Otherwise, if you are reinstalling AS, once done move the AS preference file on the desktop back to its original location to preserve your search settings.

Everytime I start up my computer I get a pop-up that states:  'Error loading C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Local\HpWebNotifier\SyncNetOffice.dll'
My computer and printer work fine but this message is annoying.  I can't figure out what the problem is.  I am wondering if it is an issue from an old printer that I used to be connected to that I've already uninstalled.  Does anyone have any ideas how I can resolve this issue?
    Thanks!

    Hello lisabar90,
What operating system is the computer?
What model computer are you using?
Try this click on start and then run and type msconfig and hit enter.
(if your computer doesn't have a run type msconfig in the search box and click on the application)
Go to the startup tab and see if you can see a reference to that location. Uncheck it and reboot your computer.

  • Office 2013 with Service Pack 1 installation error about "search path"

I have an automated installation technique that has worked fine with Office 2010 Pro Plus (32-bit), incorporating the latest Service Pack into the network administrative installation point (under \updates), adding 10 foreign languages to the network administrative
installation point, creating a custom .msp with the OCT (that goes into \updates too), editing the config.xml files, and then running setup.exe from that network administrative installation point. This works on 32-bit Windows XP clients and on 32- and 64-bit
    Windows 7 clients.
For Office 2013 Pro Plus, I have built the network administrative installation point exactly the same way (original DVD files + languages + SP1 updates + config.xml updates), but the installation is failing with every type of client, all with
the same error message. The network administrative installation point is readable by the normal installing account, but I even get the same error when I login as me and initiate setup.exe manually, and I have all rights to this point.
Here's the critical point from a log file:
2014/03/11 11:53:49:691::[2372] DistributionPoint parsed.  The distribution point is now set to: \\archive.ads.college.edu\archive\KBOXalt\Office2013

I cannot find any references to this exact error anywhere on the Internet. Can anyone tell me what this means, and how I fix it?

As automated, the utility that runs setup.exe maps a drive letter to
\\archive.ads.college.edu\archive\KBOXalt using a kboxmap AD account, which has read access to the whole \KBOXalt tree. I used that same kboxmap AD account manually to simulate what the utility does, and hit the same problem. But here's what's
    odd: right next to that
    \\archive.ads.college.edu\archive\KBOXalt\Office2013 directory is an
\\archive.ads.college.edu\archive\KBOXalt\Office2010 directory, both created the same way, and the Office 2010 installation has always worked perfectly using the kboxmap AD account. I don't understand why Office 2013 is only working for an account with
read/write access, where Office 2010 worked fine for an account with only read access. Especially when the Office 2013 resource kit documentation clearly states that the account running the installation should only have read access, nothing more. (All this
KBOX stuff comes from the fact that our deployment environment is a Dell KACE KBOX 1000. However, that plays no part in the problem: ignoring the KBOX 1000, I can manually recreate the problem every time.)

  • A Critical Error on Search Service 2013

So simply, one of our clients had an issue on an SP machine and decided to do a Bare Metal Restore on the OS Drive (Bad, Bad Idea). that has now created a whole host of issues on that SP box. The main issue that i've got left to fix are, Search Service /
UPS.  On the box the services show as being started but in CA trying to do anything with them you get the error bellow.
The Errors that are in the log:

Any idea's are welcome, on a side note deleting the service and re-setting it up doesn't achieve any different results.
    Ben

I'm guessing you set this admin account as your Search Service and App Pool account as well?
If you go into Central Admin - Security - Service Accounts, can you change your account for Windows Service SharePoint Server Search, and also (if applicable) Service Application Pool - whatver your search is.

  • In AOL email, checking individual messages in the regular system results in this error message: There was an error loading the message. Please try again later.

In accessing AOL email through the full version, I can navigate within my account (old mail, new mail, spam, etc.) fine, but when I try to open an individual email, I get this error message: "There was an error loading the message. Please try again later."
This is identical to a problem someone else was describing in another thread....unfortunately, nothing you suggested to him seemed to be working. I WAS tricked into opening a file attached to an email immediately before this started, so I think its a virus or something. ANYWAY....I AM able to open the messages when I use AOL's basic version. Initially, the problem seemed only to be in Firefox, but I've tried with Internet Explorer now also, and its the same thing, and the basic version is accessible while the full version is still blocked.
On both browsers, following the error message, I can't even click on the individual messages to TRY to open a different one, and there are some not-quite-right boxes and x's and things that appear on the screen that don't belong.
PLEASE tell me you can't make this go away....I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox....that didn't work. I've also fun McAffee, and that didn't change anything.

  • Error loading plugins. AISaveForWeb.aip

The problem with my computer set to Adobe Illustrator CS5.
20/10/1910 after injection of regular updates adobovskih Illustrator crash when started
starts at the registration window. Since I still trial version, then all these
days to choose it and the program loaded and worked fine. After it was decided
reinstall the trial version, downloaded from the official. site, today it
delivered. Now the program opens, but when you open a message is
    Error loading plugins. AISaveForWeb.aip DxfDwg.aip PNGFileFormat.aip
and takes off after the first save (Ctrl S).
    Sorry for my English

    First Quit Illustrator CS 5
    then
C:\Users\Max\AppData\roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS5 Settings trash the whole folder
then you have to find the Adobe Illustrator plist files I do not know where they are located on the Windows platform
or if they are called something different or even exist.
If that does not work and you cannot find the plist or equivalent then use the uninstaller and remove Illustrator trash the settings folder
clear out any cache files associated with CS 5, the cache files are usually located in a directory called Application support in a folder called Cache.
Also any folders associated with Illustrator CS 5 in the Application Support folder called Adobe.
Sorry I do not know where these folders are or if they are called the same thing on the windows platform.
And of course it is nowhere to be found on the web.
If you cannot find these files just trash the stuff you can after uninstalling and dumping the settings folder.
Yu can also do a search for Adobe Illustrator CS 5 on your computer after the uninstall there should be nothing related to Adobe Illustrator CS 5 left on the computer. I would also before doing any of this deactivate Illustrator CS 5.
    The restart your computer.
BTW have you updated AI CS 5 and or Windows by any chance?

  • Illustrator cs3 headache! Error loading plugins. ColorHarmony.aip DxfDwg.aip FHImprot.ap PNGFileFormat.aip TracingSuite.aip TrcingUI.aip

I have searched everywhere on both the net and the adobe website and there is no solution for this problem.  I have tried all suggestions, aside from reformatting my hard drive and loading everything from scratch. I have Adobe CS3 Master Collection which we paid quite a bit for and I find these errors and mistakes outrageous.  I have a Zune and I still hve to disable the launch using the Vista Task Manager in order to get PDF files to save using any progrm within the suite.
All of a sudden one day, I started getting the following error: Error loading plugins. ColorHarmony.aip DxfDwg.aip FHImprot.ap PNGFileFormat.aip TracingSuite.aip TrcingUI.aip
I have tried using the CS3 Script clean up tool, even at level 2. I have gone through and got rid of any vestiges of folders or files that have to do with Adobe CS3 Master Collection.  Nothing works.  The only thing that did work that I refuse to do is to make another User Account and use that account just for Illustrator so I have to switch users back and forth to send e-mails and such.
What is the fix for this?  Is Adobe paying attention?
Any words of wisdom?  I have read that even after paying the $39.95 for help from Adobe, they still dont have a solution.   Is t his a ploy to make some money off of fees during this economy?

Okay all, here is what I have tried; re-installed printer drivers, nothing, then:
I went to C:\Users\[your name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Illustrator CS3 Settings on Win Vista.
Found the following folders:  Brushes, Composite Fonts, Graphics Styles, Kinsoku, MojiKumi, New Document Profiles, Plug-ins, Swatches, Symbols, Workspaces.  All folders were empty except for the New Document Profiles which had the following: Basic CMYK, Basic RGB, Mobile and Devices,
Print, Video and Film and Web, as I said these are document files which I deleted before this re-installation and nothing. Same error as above.
The three files listed in the Illustrator CS3 Settings folders are: AI Color Settings, AIMenuFaceCache and IllustratorFnt.lst.  I deleted all three, IllustratorFnt.lst rebuilds immediately when I Open Illustrator CS3, however, the other two dont seems to rebuild until I receive the Microsoft Windows alert:  a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the rpgoram and notify you if a solution is available.  You'd think with the many times that this program has shut down automatically, someone would have a solution by  now!
There is no AdobeFnt.lst file as specified by Mylenium.
corrupt preference folder, the whole users preference folder: I do not see an AI.Preferences folder in this area neither, and when I reopen Illustrator there is still no Preferences folder.  Dont know how to get to the whole users preferences folder.  I have a done Search for Preferences*.* and I only get entries for ACT! 2008 CMR which we have installed here.
corrupt Illustrator Settings folder located somewhere in the Documents and Settings No, this does not seem to do anything, If I delete the entire contents under Illustrator CS3 Settings.
a corrupt or conflicting plug in from a thrid party which is what it sounds like.  Nothing in the plug-ins (Illustrator CS3 folder) and I haven't downloaded a third party.  I do see the plugins that this mentioned in this error: ColorHarmony.aip DxfDwg.aip FHImprot.ap PNGFileFormat.aip TracingSuite.aip TrcingUI.aip in the following C: Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS3\Plugsin\Extensions, but the system will NOT let me remove them.
a corrupt font(s) or font data base(s) or both.  Removed all possible fonts that the system would let me, and still nothing.
a corrupt color or monitor profile (this once happened to me)  Do not use Custom monitor nor color profies.
a conflicting haxie  running a PC
an update to something on your user account Hmmm all I have done are the recommended updates to Vista
conflicting software on the mac it is usually entourage or Quicken but they usually interfere with the keyboard shortcuts.  On a PC.
and on the pc world of course a virus that is affecting your user account because it has only found your password on that accounts and which you obtained via browser or e-mail.  Ran a full system virus scan and nothing.
The last and very unpopular amongst the pc world is a permissions problem in the pc world they always find a work around thuis issue rather than face the fact and why Adobe may have given up at this point.  Turned off the UAC account, but your right, when I tried to delete the mentioned plugins in the errror, it said i didnt have the permissions.
There can be other reasons. The reason Adobe could not find it is the problem on the pc is often denial that this is user induced it also a problem but to less a degree on the Mac.
Maintaining your system is important. I do regular scans and things.
For instance have you set your scratch to a hard drive hat has a lot of free space do you have scratch other than your start up disk? Have a huge hard disk and 4 gb of DDR3 ram.
How much RAM do you have these are less likely to be the problem since the new user account works.
If you want to get his running again try a few things and tell us what did not work and perhaps we can help with nrrowing it down.
PLEASE HELP YOU GUYS, THIS IS VERY BIZARRE, WHY WOULD ONE SEPARATE USER ACCOUNT WORK AND THE OTHER NOT.  THEY BOTH PULL OFF OF THE SAME PROGRAM FILE FOLDER RIGHT?

  • Illustrator CS3 Crashes after "Error Loading Plugins"

    so confused.
Upgraded to a new PC with Windows 7 64bit Enterprise.
Installed my CS3, and Illustrator crashes after "Error Loading Plugins".
I moved the .aip files in question from the folder to my desktop, then put them back, but 3 are still there. The other 3 resolved.
Took the 3 in question back out, then back in. no change
Left the 3 out. No "Error Loading Plugins" but still crashes with a "stopped working" non descript message.
I have been trying to search all over the net for six hours to no avail. Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.

with Enterprise edition you should be able to download from Microsoft a winXP32 bit virtual OS and run CS3 Ai in that mode.

  • Error Loading Plugins Control Panel.aip

I tried to open Illustrator for the first time on my new computer. It seems like it's going to open, then I get an error message:
    Error Loading Plugins
    Control Panel.aip
I have reinstalled, uninstalled, reinstalled, updated window, updated adobe, restarted inbetween, etc.
    I have Designer CS3 on a toshiba satellite p205d-s8804 running Vista 2gig memory AMD Turion 64x2 2GZ x86 ATI Radeon X1200 2G RAM 139G free HD space.
It seems numerous people are having this problem across the web but no one has posed an answer on how to fix it. It is insinuated that it is a registry problem.
Can and Adobe person post the solution.
    PLEASE HELP

Bill, thank you very much for posting the solution to the "Error Loading Plug-ins. Control Panel.aip" problem.
I was able to find your solution here on the forum with only a minimal amount of searching, and it worked perfectly.
FWIW, I found two duplicate files in the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS3\Support Files\Required folder - one called ADMEveParser and another one called ADMPlugin.  Both of them had a 1 in parentheses after the file name.
Again - many thanks for your thoughtfulness.

  • "Error loading operating system" in windows 7 bootcamp

Hello, Im trying to boot up my windows 7 and its giving me "Error loading operating system". But the wierd thing is from Mac OS X i can access my bootcamp without any problem "browsing it", all my music is on it actually. Any solutions guys?

    Hi guys,
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I am suddenly having a very similar problem and maybe one of you can help me.  I have searched the problem using many different phrases but have not found a solution to my specific issue anywhere so I turned here.
Problem : I am getting the "Error Loading Operating System" error on the windows side after trying to boot up using BootCamp.
More Info / History :  Everything was running fine until I updated OSX to 10.10.02.  I have an unsupported card with no EFI : GTX 980 so I couldn't tell what was going on with the update but it just hung in black screen for a while and then when into an infinite restart-loop.  Sooooo, I pulled the card and put my old GTX 120 with EFI back in to see what the **** was going on and miraculously it decided to finish the update.  (Maybe it had something to do with the unsupported card? IDK)  The update finished successfully after i swapped out the cards but I fear i screwed up something by restarting during the update (I was hung up, I waited a very long time before hitting the power button).  OSX is running ok, I put the other card back in and it is working ok now, but...  BootCamp was working...  once.  Then I restarted and it wouldn't work, I got the error message.  So I tried doing a verify/repair disk on both drives, OSX and W7, and that didn't do anything, so I tried to start BootCamp assistant and I couldn't...  So I reset the PRAM and that fixed the problem with BootCamp Assistant, so now that starts up, but I don't know if I can repair the issue with it?  However I still can't boot into Windows.  Again, when I hold down option on boot, I do get the menu (BootCamp?) to choose which OS to go into.  Side Note, when I pick Recovery Mode from that menu, I get the mac error message and it restarts.
All the W7 Files are still present on the drive...  Is there any way I can back up the image, re-prep the drive for BootCamp and re-image it to repair it?  All thoughts, suggestions, etc. welcome.

  • Error loading plug-ins

I just installed a trial version of CS5.5 and I am getting an error message when loading Illustrator.  It tells me Error loading plug-ins DxfDwg.aip PNGFileFormat.aip.  I have two user accounts and this only happens under the user account that I use all the time.  Under the other user account, I don't get this error and everything appears to work fine.  The other strange thing is that I get this error every other time I start up the program.  When I don't get this Error message, after the program is done loading I get a message that says Some plug-ins have been updated.  You will need to relaunch Illustrator for the changes to take effect.  Of course when I relaunch I get the Error loading plug-ins.  I have run the program as adminsitrator, I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I have checked the security preferences, etc.  Anyone have any ideas on this?  Thanks!

There is solution to this problem on th Adobe site do a search either by google or for the adobe site not a search of the forum and you should find it.

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326676
Other solutions that recommended from varied resources, recommanding to set the drive from LBA to Large. But I don't see that option in the Bios setup.. maybe because my HD's was setup as RAID 0?
and other recommended to use a startup disk boot into DOS and use the  fixboot/mbr to fix the mbr. But when I tried to boot with a startup disk I can't seems to find my C:\  (which is the RAID 0). How can can boot to the into the RAID?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried everything in the online newsgroups, FAQs, etc, but still seem to have this error come up.
    My tnsnames.ora contains:
    EXTPROC_CONNECTION_DATA =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC)(KEY = EXTPROC0))
    (CONNECT_DATA =
    (SID = PLSExtProc)
    My listener.ora contains:
    LISTENER =
    (DESCRIPTION_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC)(KEY = EXTPROC0))
    SID_LIST_LISTENER =
    (SID_LIST =
    (SID_DESC =
    (SID_NAME = PLSExtProc)
    (ORACLE_HOME = /dbmsu001/app/oracle/product/8.1.5)
    (ENVS=LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/dbmsu001/app/oracle/product/8.1.5/lib:/dbmsu001/app/oracle/product/8.1.5/ctx/lib)
    (PROGRAM = extproc)
    (SID_DESC =
    (SID_NAME = SWOW)
    (GLOBAL_DBNAME = devlab)
    (ORACLE_HOME = /dbmsu001/app/oracle/product/8.1.5)
I restarted the listener each time I made changes to listener.ora and I restarted ctxsrv process each time as well to make sure. I run ctxsrv as "ctxsrv -user ctxsys/ctxsys -personality M -log ctx.log &". I exited SQL*PLus and restarted to make sure I got a new session under the new listener process.
I don't know alot about libraries and external processes, but from what I've read, I have everything setup properly. I checked the dba_libraries view and it shows the proper filename and path for the libctxx8.so file. It should be correct as it's the same file/path I entered while installing the interMedia text option.
I've also tried setting text_enable = FALSE in initXXX.ora to make sure that doesn't interfere. Somewhere I read that having that parameter set to TRUE may cause some problems as it's only for version prior to 8.1.5.
If you have any additional information that can help me get this working, it would be greatly appreciated. I've spent countless hours and am just spinning my wheels now with an ever increasing level of frustration.

This might be best asked in the Oracel Text forum...
But, it appears that you have extproc configured correctly, the problem is that extproc cannot find the shared object in question. It cannot dynamically load the shared object becaus it cannot find it.
In my experience, this is due to a LD_LIBRARY_PATH unix environmental variable that does not include the directory where the shared object is. You should set this variable in the login script for the oracle user.
From the installation guide.... I am not sure if this library is in ORACLE_HOME/lib, if not add the directory to LD_LIBRARY_PATH
    LD_LIBRARY_PATH
Required when using Oracle products that use shared libraries. Set LD_LIBRARY_
    PATH to include $ORACLE_HOME/lib.

  • Error in Search after restore from backup

We recently had to restore our Sharepoint 2010 Enterprise farm from backup due to a failed attempt to move the SharePoint DB's to a new SQL server and now our search service is no longer working.  It had been working fine before the restore mind you.
I took the recommended action of removing the search service (and related DB's) and adding a new one via Central Admin but that simply results in another broken service that won't work.  I thought that perhaps running the Powershell script listed here
might help narrow down the problem:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/russmax/archive/2009/10/20/sharepoint-2010-configuring-search-service-application-using-powershell.aspx
I assumed this would allow me to see where the process is failing.  So after updating the variables to meet our environment, here's the step that fails:
    $SSI = get-spenterprisesearchserviceinstance -local
    Start-SPEnterpriseSearchServiceInstance -Identity $SSI
    The error is as follows:
Start-SPEnterpriseSearchServiceInstance : Unable to cast COM object of type "Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.MSSITLB.CGatheringManagerClass' to interface type 'Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.MSSITLB.IGatherManagerAdmin3'. This
operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{0FF1CE14-013A-0000-0000-000000000000}' failed due to the following error: Error loading type library/DLL. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80029C4A (TYPE_E_CANTLOADLIBRARY)).
I can't seem to find resolution to this error via Google.  Anyone have any thoughts?

    Hi mbrowning01,
The issue may be caused by the permissions problem.  When you open the PowerShell command, please make sure you “run as administrator”.
SharePoint 2010 Management Shell must be launched with elevated administrative permission by selecting Run as administrator.

  • Why should i add a dot and space to execute this oracle provided script?

When multiple oracle databases are installed in one machine, we need to set the environment variables like ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_SID before logging into the respective database. For this, oracle provides as script called oraenv. If we try to execute or
