Error- Material doesn't exist in Plant

Hi,
I have created one semifinish material(HALB).
& two raw materials for subcomponents(ROH).
I have maintained BOM in CS01.
Now when i create PO, an error occurs as follows"Material doesn't exist in plant or not activated", what does it mean?
(I've maintained info record for Semi finish matl using category subcontracting.)
Please help.

pls. clearify some doubts:
1. for which material you are creating PO.
2. what are the views ,yu have maintained in material master.
3. what is the BOM type.

I am encountering the subjected error "Material doesn't exist in warehouse"
Scenario:
STO with SD module,STO creation,Delivery creation,PGI and Post GR
While receipting the stock with MVT 101 some stock posted to Loss/gain account with MVT 943,This happened in year 2003.
Subsequently this stock ended in Stock in transit(Decimals).
The material type is BULK,And No WM view at all.
2005 WM was implemented.
Problem/Issue:
Now after 8 years the Stock in transit stock needs to be reversed or physical/book stock cleared from the inventory,I tried
my own permutaions and combinations.
Irrespective of anything ,The result is error "Material doesn't exist in warehouse".
Analysis:
Is this error due to WM implemented after the stock in transit stock created.
My help requested for:If anybody has encountered a similar situation,Could u plse help me out.

ur guess might be correct, it is because of WM implimentaition.
Warehouse no. will be assigned to plant and storage location combination.
So the stock which u r reversing to the Storage location which might be assigned to a warehouse number. But the material is not warehouse managed. So it throws an error and does not allow for reversal.
One solution may be u need to mainatin the material for warehouse, first check the plant and SL wr ur reversing the stock assigned to which warehouse no. and the same warehosue no. u maintain in material master for that material and try reversing the stock in transit.

The material does not exist in plant or flagged for deletion

Hi All,
I have done the integration of R3 back end with SRM system (SRM 5.0) Classic scenario is working fine.
In the direct Material Procurement I get an error message that "the material does not exist in plant or flagged for deletion".
I checked R/3 side material is active only and I have assigned plant in extend attributes.
Can you please help me to resolve this problem..

check you validit date from and to for that material in comm_product table.* if it is valid you can do shopping or else you cant.

Linux Advanced Server + Oracle 9.2.0.1.0
Trying to sqlplus
conn / as sysdba
Error
ORA-01041: internal error. hostdef doesn't exist
What does it mean ? what I should do to be able to connect to the database.
TNSNAMES.ora seems fine
Linstener is up and running

you might be installing the Softawre across the network and
after some time your connection get disconnected.
or you checkout the resouresc if you are doing in the server
putting cd on the server.

ME21N Error "Address Doesn't Exist AM010"

Hello All,
I run into this error where when creating a Purchase Order using ME21N, marked the line item as free item, during save I get the error "Address Doesn't Exist". It doesn't seem to be of any error relating to the Purchase Order. Does anybody knows the reason which the system will generate this error?

Thanks for the effort but I have already maintained the Vendor Address. I have another Vendor but I can create "Free Item" PO without any errors. It is a real pain as I need to create the Purchase Order urgently.....

You don't mention in your post whether you do have a DI Server license installed. Do you have a valid DI Server license installed? The DI Server has its own license which is bought separately from SBO user licenses.

Most likely master data is incomplete. Run that program with the same variant online and set a break-point on 'message' statement to find out where the problem is.

JDBC : Fatal Error: Column Doesn't exist error .

I am getting following error in a JDBC adapter monitoring :
Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'Purchase_Order' (structure 'STATEMENTNAME'): java.sql.SQLException: FATAL ERROR: Column 'Test' does not exist in table 'Purchase_Order'
But the thing is that, the table do have the 'Test' column and I can update this table using Update SQL statement. There are 8 columns in this table. XI can update all 7 columns except this 'Test' column.
Any idea why? I evern rename this column to something else and no luck.

Why dont you try to execute the SQL statement or the Stored procedure at the Database level? If it executes there then you can figure out in XI. If it dont execute there then you have to check the syntax for the query or the stored procedure.
Try this out once.......

Creating SO for Matnr in PlantA, Message says Matnr doesn't exist in PlantB

I am trying to create a Sales Order for a Material which triggers a creation of Auto Purchase Requistion eventually to Purchase Order.
The Material exists in Plant A and my delivering plant for the material is also Plant A.
When i create the Sales Order for the material i get a message saying Material doesn't exist in Plant B.
I am not sure why Plant B comes into picture, Note: Plant B is one of our another plants.
Can someone provide any inputs.

We have resolved the Issue. Just wanted to update the group what the issue was and how resolved,
We checked the Auto PO flag in the ItemCategory settings and we are using that particualar ItemCategory linked to the Item Category Group in the Material for which we are creating Sales Order.
It seems if the Auto PO flag is checked and since that flag is treated as an EDI enabled one, when a Purch. Req / PO is created is gets the Plant value from the Sales Org settings in the Enterprise Structure (SPRO). In our systems that happened to be Plant B.
Hence when am trying to create a SO (Plant A) and eventually to a Purch. Req / PO it is saying the Material is not present in Plant B.
It took a while for me to digest, but that is what it is.

Error in SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 :Person doesn't Exist

I am trying to send one pdf file using the FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1. But every time its returing an error Person doesn't exists <id>. Address have been maintained in ADR6. Anyone has faced this issue? i checked the forum but couldn't get any answer.

Table doesn't Exist Error

Hi,
I have source as oracle database and target as HFM. However, I am facing issue in reverse engineering the RDBMS model. It doesn't show the table columns and gives the error "Table doesn't exist.".
I have tried creating a public synonym as well but to no avail.
Can anyone please suggest the suitable resolution?

When i want to print a welcomes letter i get the error Address doesn't exist. Does some know why this message appear and how to solve it?
I've looked in the table ADRC en found out the the spefic address for that addressnumber is marked as a Maintenance object address.
This specific number is not linked to the business partner in the table BUT021_FS. In this table I found that the BP is linked to another address number that have the same city, street, zip-code etc. as the one that mared as Maintenance object address but this is marked as Business partner (customer, supplier).

If it is possible could you tell me if you use this lsmw for packing specification loading in EWM environment?
I need to do something similar, trying to use transaction "/SCWM/IPU - Initial Data Transfer of Packaging Specifications ", which triggers this function.

MIGO Posting problem show material does not exist

in migo i am not able to process it show me the following error message :-
(Material M11 PLN1 S11 does not exist
Message no. M7006
Diagnosis
For material M11, no material master data exists in plant PLN1, storage location S11.
Procedure
Make sure your entries are correct.
If your entries are correct, then storage location data does not yet exist for the material.
Storage location data is created when you maintain the Storage view for the material or use the 'Enter Storage Locations' function in the material master menu or post the first goods receipt (provided that automatic creation of storage location data is allowed for the given plant and movement type).
Please help me out

Hi,
Check Material is maintain your plant and storage location with MM03.
Enter MM03 t-code, enter material code and press enter then check material is maintain your plant and storage location.
If no than first maintain it with below mention detail.
Enter MM01 - For Material Master creation.
Enter your material M11, Plant - PLN1, Storage location - S11.
And maintain other required detail.
Then check with migo.

Directory doesn't exist

     I am using 11i application on 9i database. I tried to run autoconfig on the apps tier. I navigate to COMMON_TOP/admin/scripts/bdev_oraapps
and ran auto config
[applpdev@ebs pdev_oraapps]$ ./adautocfg.sh   after entering the password it show's the error Error:Directory doesn't exist.
I don't know what's the cause. Please help to get through this.

The oraInst.loc file contains the entry "inventory_loc=/home/orapdev/oraInventory"
I checked the above mentioned location and i issued
