For about 3 weeks, my iPod would retain charge when plugged in, but wouldn't charge. Just today, I used it until the battery completely drained, and it started to restore when I plugged it in, but then I got this "Unknown Error 1161". I tried all of the recommended solutions by Apple, and it didn't work. I downloaded the newest version of iTunes, I restarted my computer, used a 2.0 USB port, nothing works. Please help.
Is it possible you're using a case-sensitive file system on your new mac?
Can you make sure you've got the latest version of Adobe AIR installed?

The new beta version is unlikely to have this problem.

I would suggest following the steps laid out in this document: An Unexpected Internal Error Has Occurred which is found on http://hpanswers.blogspot.ca.
Step 1:
-In C:\Windows folder, look for "Twain_32", which should be there. Also, look for a folder called "Twain32". If this folder exists, it will be empty. Copy and paste the contents of "Twain_32" into "Twain32".
Step 2:
- In "Services" (to access Services, Go to Start, then Run. Type services.msc and hit enter. Make sure the service named Remote Procedure Call is Started.
- Go to Shell Hardware Detection, right click, and select properties.
- Set the Startup Type as Manual and hit Apply. Then you should be able to Start the service by hitting Start.
- Try to scan using the software. If you are unable to scan, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer software.
Step 3:
If you if you are using downloaded software instead of the printer CD:
-Go to the Start menu, and go to Run. Then type %temp% and hit Enter.
-Locate the correct folder starting with "7z" (the correct folder contains "Util" and "CCC" folders).
-Open folder "Util".
- Open folder "CCC".
- Please run the L3uninstall.bat.
- When the uninstall has completed, restart the computer.
- Run Disk cleanup in "System Tools"
- Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
- Delete everything in the Twain_32 folder, except "wiatwain.ds" (if anything).
- Rename the twain_32 folder "twain_old".
- Restart computer.
- Download printer software and reinstall.
If you are using the printer software disc, follow these steps instead of downloaded software:
- Go to the Start menu, and go to Computer.
- Double-click on the icon for the HP printer CD.
- Open folder "Util".
- Open folder "CCC".
- Please run the L3uninstall.bat.
- When the uninstall has completed, restart the computer.
- Run Disk cleanup in "System Tools"
- Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
- Delete everything in the Twain_32 folder, except "wiatwain.ds" (if anything).
- Rename the twain_32 folder "twain_old".
- Restart computer
- Delete everything in the Twain_32 folder, except "wiatwain.ds" (if anything).
- Rename the twain_32 folder "twain_old".
- Restart computer.
- Download printer software and reinstall.
Step 4:
- Download an updated twain_32.dll file and place it in C:\Windows>twain_32. Replace the new file with the old.
Step 5:
- Perform a system restore, if the issue occurred recently. Be sure that you select a restore point dated before the issue occurred. You can reference this document on how to do a system restore: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-CA/windows7/products/features/system-restore
If none of these steps do not resolve the issue, I 2would suggest you re-format the computer.

All other functions appear to be working normally. Here are the symptoms when I use the print test page function:
The print head moves back and forth making all the regular sounds when it prints a first page but no paper is feed. The rollers never turn. The Out of Paper and Load Paper and Press OK messages appear. When I press OK the same thing happens again.
By trial and observation I surmise that a small black plastic ‘lever’ on the left side is not being engaged (pushed back). The print head mechanism blocks it when it moves to the left side so I can’t see it. I removed the duplex unit and was able to easily move the rollers up or down. If I push back on black lever mentioned above and turn the rollers up they move with some difficulty and paper is fed while a black bar at the front of the rollers goes down and snaps up.
I rely on my HP printer and I believe in fixing things that can be fixed rather then throw them out and add to landfill and environmental problems.HI, not to sure as its a somewhat older unit i havent seen in a long while. But i have found data on it.

Black ink still not working after spending many hours trying to sort. I've cleaned the printhead carefull several times (is immaculate now) and run the system clean up and alignment functions several many times too. I've cleaned the metal connecting points. I wiggled things carefully. I've attempted printing multiple pages in b/w in case it was going to take a while to get the ink flowing again. I've replaced one (expensive) new black cartridge with another brand new (expensive) cartridge and still nothing. This machine is probably out of warranty but seriously not very old. It really ought to be working okay. We use it regularly a little bit every week. Any ideas?The document here has troubleshooting steps that may help resolve black not printing on your Photosmart b110a. Be sure to check the vents as shown in solution six, step three. If the above does not resolve the problem the post here may help.

Did you try this:
Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3014, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.

What version of iTunes are you using? The error you references seems to be connected with iTunes 9.0.4. That version of iTunes is not compatible with iOS 6. You need to update to the current version of iTunes.

It isn't the installation of the Adobe Download Assistant which can cause this problem it is where you select to download the install files too. The Adobe Download Assistant would be installed to your Program Files/Applications folder and install files would be downloaded to your user folder, by default, or your desktop.
Alternately you can intitate a direct download by following the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369. -

Been trying to restore Ipod touch for days after updating Itunes. Error code #9. Stuck on restore screen. Tried all the solutions posted. Tried on 2 computers, Vista + XP. No device shown on computer. Thanks Apple! Didn't have this problem before update. How about rolling back your update?

When I start excel and open any workbook a 'ghost' work book opens it doesn't contain cells and is just greyed out. When I am working on a document whenever I start to write a formula the ghost wbook opens and I cannot see the original document to complete
the formula. If I open multiple workbooks I sometimes get a ghost workbook for each doc that is open - after a while I get error message to say not enough reources to do even simple tasks like save work or open a document.
I have posted on several forums and tried all suggested solutions without luck - this is really preventing me from using excel which I need daily. Personally though I am only intermediate user I think it may have something to do with a workbook that I downloaded
that had macros in it but I cant be sure

First make sure have installed the latest update. Second, we can repair Office 2013 from Control Panel > Programs and Features. Third, open Excel 2013 in safe mode, if it works fine, disable some 3rd-party application add-ins.
Could you please share a screenshot of this “ghost” workbook and upload it to OneDrive? I’ll analyze it in detail as soon as accessing it.
