Error message -1202 in iTunes unable to actviate iPhone
Apple is useless and clueless on helping. After they had me uninstall iTunes and re-install still same issue. Now that it was past 10 pm EST both Apple & ATT were closed. Now I have no phone because ATT disconnected my 3GS without verifing that my new iPhone 4 was working. I am so frustrated with both companies!!!!

Does the error still appear after after removing the plug-ins from the path mentioned below?

Is the iPhone recognized correctly after stopping the Eyephedrine plug-in error? And is iTunes now able to connect to the online store?

iTunes on my MacBook suddenly does not always load content fully and/or will give me an error message "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-1202). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later."
The problem is "trying again later" resolves nothing. I've been through the troubleshooting - software uptodate, not blocked by firewalls, resetting cache, etc.
Thank you.A workaround is to try to access your MMe galleries online. You'll get this message:
Click on the sign in link to get to your gallery account online. There you will see a button to download each gallery's photos.
The will be placed in a folder, compressed/zipped and downloaded to your downloads folder.
Unzip each file and confirm that the folders contain your photos. When comfirmed go back to that webpage and delete the album from your account. That will stop the download attempts in iPHoto.

Every time I try to install Itunes I get an error message saying it is unable to start services and to verify that I have sufficient privileges. I am the administrator. I have tried everything I can think of. When I click the ingore option it doesn't install corectly and I get a message saying MSVCR80.dll file is missing.

Have you tried restarting the iPad? You will more than likely be starting over again with the setup process but you may be able to use the "later" option if you start all over again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -

I have tried a number of the fixes on here for the loading issues but they don't solve my particular problem.
iTunes loads perfectly and i have access to buy stuff from my iPhone 4. However, when I want to wish list stuff from my phone or the computer i get an error message (-1202). This will not let me buy or list.
This seems to have happened since the most recent software update.
It is also happening on my husband's account (which is separate from mine) and we use the same computer.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have loads of itunes vouchers to spend from recent birthday and we can'tsome folks with vista have found a work around by right clicking on 'redeem' and selecting 'copy'. Then go to internet explorer and paste and hit enter. You may now be able to redeem your cards this way.
This issue appears to be a certificate issue with the system. Unfortunately windows does not have a link to install these root certificates from the website for vista like you can XP, so you cannot reinstall them if something gets corrupted.
You may have to redeem on another computer or email itunes through expresslane.apple.com with the codes from the gift cards and explain the situation. they may be able to redeem them to your account for you.
The last alternative would be to get a Mac. -

Hi, I've setup my new mini ipad today, restored a backup from icloud and all is fine. However, when I try to download my music, they almost completely download then an error message pops up saying "unable to download songs" - can anyone help please?
So it appears iCloud/iTunes Match isn't the issue - the error message would seem to be complaining about where the music is being downloaded to. So with this in mind:
In iTunes select Preferences and select Advanced. The iTunes media folder should be set to /Users/<your account>/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music. <your account> would be whatever your user account is. If you see something else there I'd guessing it is a folder you don't have permission to write to. -

When I click on any of my movie or TV shows in Itunes I immediately get an error message that says Itunes has stopped working and closes the program. I can sync the movies and shows to my phone okay but I can't watch on Itunes. Can anyone help?
