Error Message 150:30 Says Licensing for this product has stopped working
I am running OS X Yosemite Photoshop Elements 8 will not open it gives me a Error Code 150:30. Tried a restart same issue, I can not download and reinstall as it does not start after I go to my orders. I am the license holder. Any suggestions? All of the online help seems to stop after Lion. It ran fine in both Maverick and Yosemite 10.10.1
If you did not keep a backup copy of the original download package/installer it will be difficult. I don't know of any sites where downloads are still available.
A new operating system will certainly perform better with the latest version PSE13 although I guess you have become quite familiar with PSE8. All the tools are very much the same; only the user interface has changed and the app now comes with the Organizer rather than Bridge. It's also 64 bit unlike PSE8.

I get this message for all of my Adobe Creative Suite CS4 applications. Just loaded everything onto a new computer from my backup drive. I have tried all of the recommendations here. There is a downloadable installer for your suite if needed. Have your serial numbers ready if it comes to that.

"Migrating" and/or "transferring" an application is not just asking for trouble but demanding it!
Always install an Adobe application from scratch, from the original media: CD or download. -

I recently updated my Mac OS, and am getting error 150:30, "Licensing for this product has stopped working" on all my CS4 products. The license repair tool will not launch in Mavericks. Help?
CS4 is completely unsupported under Mavericks and using an upgraded
operating system is nothing short of a crapshoot.

Error number 148.3 Licensing for this product has stopped working. I rebooted several times to no avail. Still get the same error message everytime I try to start Photoshop. I'm using Windows 7 -- 64 bit
If you can not use CS4 menu Help>Activate|Deactivate to get the install working again you may need to re-install CS4.

How can I resolve this...
Error: 150:30 "Licensing for this product has stopped working" (Popped up when I tried to open an emailed jpg with Photoshop CS4). Restarted computer (iMac OS 10.9.5). No go. Message directed me to contact Adobe. How do you get a real person on the phone?It's a common error. The best fix is to reinstall Photoshop CS4 from the discs.
If you do not have your discs, download the installer from here and have your serial number ready.

I can't use my PS CS4 because it seems the licensing has stopped working. I restarted the Mac few times but this error seems to persist.
It's an extremely common error with CS4. It means the licensing is broken. For people not really familiar with Terminal, my best answer is to suggest a fresh install from your discs to fix this. You will have to reapply all updates.
Since the Help > Update part is not working well, download and install your updates (Photoshop, Bridge, Adobe Camera Raw) from here Product updates.
Usually this happens when Photoshop is moved from another computer, from a backup like Time Machine, or even as OSX upgrade to Yosemite. -
