Error message 403

Hello,
I have a HP 5520 All in one Printer and despite the fact that I have on previous occasions, used my scanner to email with no problems,  it hasnt been working of late and the above error message keeps coming up.
I have tried all the suggestions listed with no avail and my scan to email app is not an available option for me to try.  Please can you contact me directly with some help to fix this problem, that clearly is a common fault of the product.
Many Thanks

Hello Lily40,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
Am I under the correct understanding that the Scan to Email option is no longer in the Scan menu on the printer? Since I do not know all the suggestions you have tried, please don't get upset if I am doubling up on steps.

  • ICal Error Message 403 (iCloud)

    Hi Apple Users!
After giving my girlfriend access to my calenders via iCloud I get the Error Message 403. (I also got now acces to her calender.)
"The Access to the account "iCloud" is not allowed
    Answer of the servers:
    "403"
    to process CalDAVSetPropertyQueueableOperation"
(I translated it into english, the original message is shown in german)
"Der Zugriff auf Account „iCloud“ ist nicht gestattet.
    Antwort des Servers:
    „403“
    an Vorgang CalDAVSetPropertyQueueableOperation"
On both iPhones 4S (iOS 5.0) the calender are shown and updated correclty. Only in iCal I get the error message.
    Can someone help me please?
    In advance I thank you.
    Yours sincerely,
    Marc

Sorry reading your error in more detail I get the feeling our errors are not exactly the same.
I do not have access to my colleagues iCloud account.
This started when I tried to import two recent meeting invitations I recieved by e-mail to my iCal.
The error message was identical to yours:
    The server responded:
    “403”
    to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.
The result being I was unable to import the meeting.
If I create a new invitation in iCal directly I have no problem.  And up until today I have not had any problems importing invitations from this person or anyone else using Microsoft Outlook.

iCloud's Calendar is full of errors and problems for me.  The "Couldn't move your calendars to iCloud because an error occurred" is now gone (by itself) but nothing syncs between my Mac's Calendar to iCloud or my iPhone to iCloud.
I tried creating a new event directly on iCloud.com to see whether it pushes to any of my device and  got this "This event couldn't be created because of a server error; please try again." error.
    Apple, please fix this!!

This is because Chrome does not use Adobe Flash Player. Chrome uses something called Pepper Flash, maintained by Google (not Adobe). The issues you are experiencing are Adobe Flash Player issues. You should be able to get assistance with these issues [https://forums.adobe.com/community/flashplayer/using_flashplayer on the Adobe forums].

    Hello @Jo1974 ,
    Welcome to the HP Forum.
I understand that you are getting a server connection error when trying to scan to email.
I would like to help you with this.
    Try setting a manual DNS.

If one is downloading directly to the iPhone via WiFi, it doesn't matter what version of iTunes is on the computer.
I decided to sync my phone to Outlook via iTunes.  First thing, iTunes discovered that 7.0.3 was not on my phone.  It asked if i wanted to install it.  I said, "yes", and VOILA!! 7.0.3 is now installed on my iPhone.
So therein is the answer.  Have no idea what bug is in there to keep it from loading to some phones directly via WiFi, but obviously, it is something!!
There is no bug.  While you can update your iOS via wi-fi, it's recommended to do so via USB & iTunes.  Depending on your wi-fi connection & singal strength, you can get errors.  That's not a function specifically of the device.

  • HELP!!  Error message 403...

I can't seem to download my purchased music. It will say that its downloading and go through all the songs but still saying its downloading 1 of 4 and then an error message pops up and says "An unknown error accurred. There was an error downloading your purchased music. Go to the advanced menu and select check for purchases and try again later (403)."
What is this and how can I get it to actually download my music??? Please help!

If account is managed by a Google Admin, please contact the Google admin.
There is some kind of ip range rule for the account/device you are using to surf the internet. This can only be set up by a network/google for work console.

  • What can I do to accept calendar invitations when I receive an error message 403?

Freqently, when I try to accept a calendar invitation from someone, I receive the message error noted below.  It gives me the options to: ignore, try again or revert to server.  I want to keep the item in my calendar but I keep getting this error message that demands a response.   It pops up repeatedly and is very annoying.
"The Server responded with an Error.  Access to “xyz Meeting” in “Work” in account “iCloud” is not permitted.  The server responded: “403” to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation."

Interesting suggestion, but it's not clear to me how I would do that if I'm not using an "(at) icloud.com" email address/account. I am having the same problem with changed invitations that come from an organizer who is using Google Apps. My email account is hosted at my ISP - it's not obvious to me how I can use iCloud to access that email account (and therefore the changed invitation). Suggestions?

  • Cannot register for account - Ajax error message 403

I am trying to register for an account so I cna give the printer a friendly email address, but I get the following error message:
Ajax submit failed: error = 403, Forbidden
Obviously this is not a friendly error message and I am not sure what's going on, other than that it results in me being unable to register. I tried two browsers as well (Firefox and Chrome).

It's possible that there's a setting in your web browser responsible for what you're seeing. I would recommend trying the following steps:
    1. Try to view the site in a different web browser to see if that's the issue. Normally, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari all display the website properly. Try one or two of those (other than the one you've been using) and it should do the trick.
    2. If that doesn't work, try resetting Internet Explorer's default settings by clicking "Tools" (on the top menu bar), "Internet Options" (usually at the bottom of that list), "Advanced" (far-right tab), and "Reset" (towards the bottom-right of that box). After resetting the defaults, try viewing the ePrint Settings area again.

  • Ajax submit failed error message=403 Forbidden

This message is sometimes displayed at the ePrint center website when attempting to log in.  I would like to give a few tips just in case you run into this error message on the site.
The first thing I would try is clear your browser cache this sometimes can fix the issue.  If not I would try rebooting your computer and then trying again.
If these steps do not work try an alternate browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox.
