Error message 413 for download lightroom
Hello
I bought Lightroom to use on a Mac .
I already paid it, i download it one time but never install it. I switch off my computer and the Application disappear. So I went again on the download link and try to download.
But when I click I have been directed on a page with 413 Header Length too Large

Something is seriously whacky with your computer or your network connection. Use another browser, use a cable based connection if you are on Wi-Fi.

Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to perform unauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. Uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer.
Edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from your hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you do not uninstall the unauthorized modification software prior to editing the hosts file, that software may automatically modify the hosts file again on restart.
Avoid using an older or modified .ipsw file. Try moving the current .ipsw file (see Advanced Steps > Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw) below for file locations), or try restoring in a new user to ensure that iTunes downloads a new .ipsw.

I'm getting error messages when I download updates for lightroom and flash for the mac. can't figure out how to trouble shoot.
It sounds as if your browser and some of your apps are not color-managed. This is pretty typical. Even IE9 is only partially color-managed.
You can expect color-managed and non-color-managed applications to show you different things with the same images. How different will depend upon how different your monitor color profile is from the image's color profile.
For web publication and most general use, experts usually advise saving images with the sRGB profile. If such images, saved through the Save for Web & Devices function, look different to you than you expect, it may be that your input images have previously been saved in another color space.
You should really try to get your head around color-management by reading more on it. It can seem baffling and it's difficult to understand without some background. A quick web search turns up many overviews. Beware, though, even people writing articles sometimes don't fully understand it.

I'm having trouble downloading an upgrade for Photoshop Elements 12 and was having a Chat with Abishek who gave me a link. When I clicked on the link I got the following error message:

7th gen ipod nano wont restore i get error message (-23) problem downloading software for iPod!
I bought a refurb iPod and i guess its formated for a mac so it told me to restore it but i get the error message and for some reason when i pluged it in it asked me if i wanted to reformat "removable disc drive G" which i'm sure is the iPod it self. PLEASE Help other wise i'm going to return it. THANKS!
So you are getting Error 23 or not?
That error indicates you have security software that is interfering with the download of the software. Temporarily disable ALL of your antivirus/antispyware software and try again. And you do have to reformat it for a PC but this should happen when you restore it in iTunes. -

When i try to download the new version of iTunes, I get an error message saying the download was for 32bit and I need the 64bit. How do i download 64bit?!?!
Which I get. But clicking on that link you provided does not give you the option of choosing between 32 and 64 bit installers.
Yeah, that was certainly a 32-bit installer file being referred to in the other message, too. (The 64-bit installer file is called iTunes64Setup.exe.)
Just in case it's an issue with your normal browser not working properly with the system-detection equipment on the page (there's a javascript control that checks for operating system specifics, and is supposed to deliver the correct Mac or Windows installers), let's try a different web browser for the download. If you use Firefox instead of IE (or vice versa), do you get offered an iTunes64Setup.exe instead of an iTunesSetup.exe? -
I was at 30% on the arvato downloader and it messed up, suddenly sent a error message and said "download canot continue, plese contact adobe support" I have been sitting here for 2 hours dowloading. I am upset. I didnt pay over 100 bucs not to be able to use it. I have customers waiting!! what do I do???

Clear your browser cache and cookies and try again.
Or use a different browser.

Error message on start up "Lightroom encountered an error when reading from its preview cache and needs to quit" I uninstalled and downloaded it again and still get the same error. At this rate I won't have any chance to use the 30 day trial period as it simply isn't working. I have see suggestions elsewhere to delete a particular file, but I don't have it. Any ideas?
You need to trash the preview cache. It’s in the main catalog folder.
Delete the folder with the ending Previews.lrdata
The default location for the Lightroom folder is normally Pictures/My Pictures if you did a standard installation.
N.B. do not touch files ending .lrcat -

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you just downloaded and ran.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Restart your computer.
Re-download Itunes (latest version form Itunes website) and install. It worked! -

Error message unable to download item
I Keep getting Error message "unable to download item try again later" on my iPad. I don't know of any item I don't have downloaded. I have the latest iOS 8 installed. On my iTunes purchsed list I have one song with a red square with a white E that I don't know what it means.
I Have the same error message. It all started after I downloaded the U2 album free from iTunes. Seems like I got more than I bargained for! I have done all the ios8 updates, including 8.1, but still getting the message. It makes everything run so slow while my iPad 2 tries in vain to download. Doesn't happen on my work iPad mini where I didn't download the U2 album. So go figure...

Have bought music on iTunes. Get error message -3253 when downloading. Has changed email address lately.
Changing my DNS settings worked for me (3253 errors on my MBP). I followed the instructions here:
