which failed then I tried
Unable to download purchased videos
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1566
which failed I tried creating another user name on Vista which failed tried from another machine which failed then waited 2 weeks as I was told tried again and it failed and was only given this option

  • Problem with downloading TV show with error message 8008

I added money to my account then bought 2 songs. But when I bought a TV show video, error message 8008 pops up saying
[ There was a problem downloading "strange illusions/ celebracadabra, season 1/ celebracadabra"
Parts of the file seems to be corrupt. To redownload the file, choose "Check for Purchases" at the Store menu ]
Now I already did that but the message doesn't change. Is there a problem with my computer or the file? And do I get my money back if I can't get all of it downloaded?
    Thank you

    Contact iTunes Store support:-
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/browser/
State the Category as "Downloading" and the Sub-Category as "I continually receive an error message..."
Then explain the issue to them and make sure you state the error code.

  • I keep getting error message (-50) on iTunes while downloading a movie

Hey guys, while I was trying to redeem three of my digital copies from the Lord of the Rings movies, on iTunes I was able to download two of the movies but one of the movie keeps getting an error message stating "There was a problem downloading. _Movie Title_ There was an unknow error (-50)." Is there a solution this is? or a helpful apple article I can use?

Try deleting the partial cached downloads in the iTunes media folder.
That error is outlined here -> iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting
    "Error -50," "-5000," "8003," "8008," or "-42023"
These alerts occur due to timeouts or conflicts trying to write a file during download.
If you encounter this issue while accessing iTunes Store:
See iTunes 9: "One Moment Please" or "Error (-50)" message when accessing iTunes Store
If you encounter this issue while while downloading something from the iTunes Store:
Delete your iTunes Downloads folder, located in:
    Mac OS X:
~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Downloads   Note: "iTunes Media" may appear as "iTunes Music. Also, the tilde (~)  refers to your Home directory.
    Windows  Vista:
  \Users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
    Windows  7:
  \Users\username\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
    Windows  XP:
  \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My  Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
After locating your iTunes Downloads folder:
    Quit iTunes.
Delete the Downloads folder on your computer.
    Open iTunes.
Choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.
Enter your account name and password.

    Hello, constance132.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Here are some troubleshooting steps that I could recommend when receiving error -50.

    Windows Vista:

    Windows 7:
  \Users\username\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
    Windows XP:
  \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
After locating your iTunes Downloads folder:
    Quit iTunes.
Delete the Downloads folder on your computer.
    Open iTunes.
Choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.
Enter your account name and password.
If you encounter this issue while while downloading Digital Copies using Windows:
Use MSCONFIG (directions for Windows XP and Windows Vista/Windows 7) to disable conflicting software.
If using MSCONFIG steps resolves the issue, you may want to use the System Configuration Utility to turn on the third-party System Services and Startup Items one at a time (restarting your computer after turning on the item or items) to identify which System Service or Startup Item is causing the conflict.
You can turn all of them back on by selecting the Normal Startup option under the General tab of the System Configuration Utility window, but please note that this may cause the issue to reoccur.
If you are able to isolate the issue to a particular third-party software, you may wish to contact them to let them know of the conflict.

  • Error message when downloading a free song.

I got the error message "Credit Balanace unavailable.  Try again later."
I have never seen or received this message in relation to a free single download, or in relation to any other action in iTunes.  Can anyone share any insights into this.  Is this a glitch? The single was Clouds by Grouplove.

Although you're getting a different error message number, perhaps try the "Error -50," "-5000," "8003," "8008," or "-42023" section in the Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) section of the following document:

  • Error message when downloading a tv show :(

Last night, I purchased season one of "psych" and proceeded to download the episodes. Apart from episode 10, all other episodes have been downloading without any problems. Episode ten stops downloading at the 2.8 MB with an (err=9006) mark. When i try to restart the download a message appears stating:
The download of "From Earth to the Starbucks / Psych, Season 1 / Psych' was interrupted.
Please choose "check for available downloads" from the store menu to resume the download.
I have checked for available downloads, yet the error message reappears when i restart the download. Furthermore I have deleted the episode form the itunes library and restarted the episode yet again the error message appears.
Anyone know why I cant download this episode?

  • Updateing to i tunes  8.2.1 error message wont install

help..trying to install itunes 8.2.1 but get warning message that it does not have a 'valid signature' and will not be installed.
i was hoping that having the most uptodate itunes version would assist in finishing downloading a pop video that wont complete...just get error code 8008
    any ideas would be great
    thanks

I have not had this problem before but the latest update to iTunes + Quicktime, offered today, puts me in the same situation.
The web is covered with reports of this issue over the years, always "iTunes + Quicktime has an invalid signature", but nothing I can see which is a good fix for the problem.
Tried chkdisk, install manually doesn't work, the installer just keeps trying.
Tried installing QT 7.6.4 independently from the Apple download page, that didn't help either.
If this is so prevalent, why isn't there more on the main Apple site about it?

halfway through downloading an album from the Itunes store, i've got the error message 8003.  This talks about checking my connection (which is fine and always has been).  It downloaded fine onto my Iphone and Ipad. • HT204406 When downloading albums some songs stop with error messages..

Hi, I was trying to download Armin van Buuren "A State of Trance 2011". The individual songs downloaded fine but both continuous dj mixes failed to download, they get right to the end and then stop with error messages. This is the 2nd Armin van Buuren album this has happened to! Please help!
    Dave.

The 2nd mix still won't play, it just skips to the next track on the album. In my purchases it says it's downloaded, it just won't seem to play.
    It sounds damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If you get another -50 on the redownload, perhaps try the "Error -50," "-5000," "8003," "8008," or "-42023"section in the Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) section of the following document:

  • Windows Vista: Ipod Error Message, no longer read by PCs

    Hello,
I have a 5th generation black ipod video with 30GB of memory.
The other day I hooked it up to my laptop (Toshiba, 4 months old) that it's been functioning on with no problems whatsoever. This weird error message flashed twice about it not being able to sync because of some software problem.
Eversince then, the only thing I can charge my ipod on is the family treadmill in the basement (~_~) as no other computer in the house recognizes it. I can't even charge it through the wall sockets, either.
I have changed the ipod cord, still no luck. I've also reset the device about 3 or 4 times and uninstalled, restarted the laptop then reinstalled itunes. I would like to reset it back to factory settings but that's impossible as computers/laptops don't pick it up. I live very far from a Mac store...
What's a girl to do? I can't live without my Busta Rhymes and Wu-Tang Clan!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

you have to update Vista go to this site and up-date http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

  • Error message into a Variable.

    Dear users,
I have a rather usual (unusual from the weekend beers for me though!!) query which I can't figure out a proper way to implement.
    My requirement is like this:
I have a message class in which I want to define a text 'Employee number & not found'.
I want to use this in the program, but not to raise this error. Instead, I want to move this error message with the Employee number into a Character(200) variable.
So instead of using MESSAGE e0xx(messageclass) USING employee number, I would like to move the error text into a variable which looks like:
lv_text = e0xx(messageclass) USING '1234'   which stores the text 'Employee number 1234 not found' in lv_text.
    How would I acheive it??
    Thanks, V!

    Try tis way
    message e999(00) with i_emp-empno into lv_text.
press f1 in message will provide you more details

  • IPod seen by windows, not by iTunes+ weird error message

I have a first generation 2GB iPod nano and i use windows xp. I can't load any music because iTunes doesn't see my iPod and an error message pops up that reads like this: "iTunes: iTunes.exe corrupt file. The file or directory \iPod_Control\iTunes is corrupt and unredable. Please run the checkdisk utility." I've tried everything, reinstalling iTunes, different versions, reinstalling OS, resetting iPod, even on another computer, same problem. Other than that, the iPod works normally, it's just lacking music..
and why is there no email adress from apple for service qustions? 10x

I still don't get it, how can I put it in disk mode if I CANNOT see the iPod in iTunes..?
Did you read the document i linked you to? here's another link to it:
    Putting iPod into Disk Mode
whereabouts in that procedure in that document (that you get to by clicking that link) does it say that you have to connect it to iTunes to put it into disk mode?
    ... never mind ... i guess you've fixed it anyway ...
