Error Message: "A virus was detected in FILENAME. This file will not be uploaded"

I have been synching files using Creative Cloud Connect for many months. During the past few weeks, I get the message "Some files failed to sync". When I click on "Learn more", it has 3 files there and all have the message "A virus was detected in filename . This file will not be uploaded". I scanned all three files with AVG and Malwarebytes (installed on my system) and both report that there is no virus in those files. I have tried to chat with support but I could not find any resolution with them. I believe that I never got to the right place. I was connected with 5 different people. At the end of the last discussion I spoke to Adobe Captivate support. It so happens that the files with that error are all Adobe Captivate files. But that support also concluded that they couldn't help. I could not find similar entries in the forums either. Did anyone else have this problem?

No unfortunately, I have not. I spent over an hour on the phone with them already regarding this topic. In the end, the support in Adobe Captivate (that's the 5th support group they connected me to) told me that I wasn't allowed to upload Captivate files since Adobe Captivate 8 is not a CC application and that's why the problem was happening. I am absolutely sure that this is untrue since I have many Captivate files on CC. I think the key will be to get to the right support group. Good luck! I really hope you find a solution. Thank you for responding. Nothing actually worked! After reading the posts online, I called Apple. They indicated they have seen problems with some software after their upgrades. The technician was able to fix the problem on my computer remotely, but I have no clue what he did! But, it was definitely related to their recent upgrade to my computer.

what version of iPhoto? Is OS X 10.8 as you state correct for the OS? Has it ever worked? What has changed since it worked? Will Image Capture ( in your applications folder) import the photos? How are you importing - USB to the camera? USB card reader? built in card reader?
Any other clues that would help a total stranger who can not see you or your computer assist you?

Message saying a virus was detected when opening pdf files

I can't open any pdf files any longer. A message appears saying a virus was detected and the file was deleted. I uninstalled all adobe programs and now
I can't re-install any of them, the same message appears when I try.

Your antivirus is giving "False positives". NO Adobe products (legitimate Adobe products from this site) contain viruses.
Also, it's nearly impossible to embed an actual virus in a PDF. Links to virus downloads? Yes, but the executable files themselves? No.
Disable your antivirus. (It may be time to consider a different A/V software too. AVG is about the best in the industry when it comes to updating definitions, which prevents "false positives".)

UPK v11.0.0 Developer Error Message: "An exception was detected..."

A developer on my team is receiving the following error message while attempting to record content in SAP (specifically clicking on the status bar):
+“ An exception was detected in Developer message processing thread. Developer will be shut down."+
UPK then closes and no work is saved. Has anyone else encountered this error?

I just received a similar message "The message processing thread locked up. Developer will be shut down..." This occurred when I tried to end a capture session by pressing Print Screen. I was never returned to the Developer and after waiting for several minutes the message appeared. I guess I'll be submitting a ticket with Oracle as I can't find any references to this error.

Can't Install iTunes : Error Message "Installer has insufficient Privileges to modify this File" Running Windows Vista

I am currently having issues installing iTunes on BOTH of my computers. One running Vista, the other, Windows 7.
(Not the same issues)
I used to have iTunes on my Vista (32bit), but when asked to update the software (The update prior to the newest one), I was not able to.
I dont exactly remember the error message.
Yesterday, I tried to install it again when I realized there was a new update.
I am receiving an error message while trying to install the software that says :
"The Installer has insufficient privileges to modify this file: c:\program files\ common files \ apple \ apple application support \ webkit. resources \ inspector \ images \ warnings errors.png
I have tried almost everything I knew to do.
Downloaded itunes setup, extracted the files and tried to install them all separately.
Then I had issues UNinstalling Apple Support and Mobile devices!
Tried something with the registry (not too sure what. I read it on this website)
Tried to Force Uninstall EVERY bit of apple on the computer then try again, and to no avail.
I am a bit discouraged, because I have been trying for so long with both computers.
I even called applecare for help with Windows 7 computer. Spoke to one representative who forwarded me to another who could not help.
(Windows 7 itunes WILL install, but when I plug up my phone says I am not running 64bit itunes, which I am, and to reinstall. Then I was missing the Mobile device and would not let me separately install.)
I am a bit frustrated, and I'd appreciate all of the help I can get.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

We have heard this issue on some customers machine after 17.1 update.
The only solution for this was to uninstall Ai and reinstall. If you install directly 2014 release then issue won't be there.

Getting error message about Java Script/OSX/Illustrator incompatability. CS6 will not open

I just started getting this error message from my VS 2010 VB code, earlier this code ran without the error message. I suspect corruption since this error does not occur on another computer of mine. I tried repairing the installation of VS
2010 without results. Then I uninstalled VS 2010 and reinstalled it, but the error continues. The error message is not very definitive so I do not know how to proceed. I could provide the code, but it is rather lengthy and I don't get this error

What’s the template type of the project? Is it a BI project? Based on my research, the issue may be related to the following factors:
.NET Framework version of the project. If it targets .NET Framework 4.0 or higher, modify it to target .NET Framework 3.5 instead.
Debug or Release Configurations. If the project is set to Release Configurations, try to set it to Debug. For more information, please see:

If the problem is sending to just one address and it has worked in the past, I don't know if this will work. I posted this to another thread yesterday for someone who had the same problem you are having and it worked for them. You can take a look. On the iphone i went Settings>Mail, contacts calanders>choose relevant account (if you have more than 1)> accountname>accountname> scroll down to 'Outgoing Mail server' and click on SMTP >click on your Primary Server >
My #Username and Password were showing 'Optional'. Filled them in with the correct details (email account login) and that fixed problem.

There must be virus in your system.
First scan your system and delete the corrupted files then again try to download the Acrobat software.

Hi,
Have you try to un-select the Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) setting?
Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Excel Options.
Click Advanced, and then click to clear the Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)
check box in the General area.
Click OK.
If the problem cannot resolve, the Run as administrator may selected.
Go to Office default install location: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12.
Right-click EXCEL.EXE > Properties >
Compatibility tab.
Under Privilege Level, uncheck Run this program as an administrator
check box.
