Error message and black scrren when I try to load new game.

Hi
Recently I purchased Restaurant Empire 2 for my pc and I downloaded and installed the game but everytime I try to play it, the first screen loads then a black screen comes up with error message " error opening file SHADER/shadowmi/cubemap+shadow.pso."
I have sims 3 installed on my computer and runs with no problem so I assumed this game should be able to run too. Please help.

Can you please let us know the following:
- Operating System;
- Complete version of Acrobat installed;
- Experiencing this issue with a particular file or all PDF files;
- Experiencing this issue while performing a particular task or with any task;
- Files are saved on the local machine or on a share drive;
- Launch Acrobat in Safe Mode and then check the issue. Hold 'Shift' key and launch Acrobat, and then check the issue.

When displaying PDF in IE9, get blank error message and black display

Frequently when attempting to load PDF pages in IE9, I get an error message box with no text and an OK button and the display of the document is just black.
Usually, if I click Reload enough times, eventually it will display. What is happening here, and why is there no message in the message box?

Though, the blank dialog box can be a result of multiple versions of Acrobat and Reader. What is the version of Acrobat/Reader you have, btw?

You have already seen this for Error 9
This error occurs when the device unexpectedly loses its USB connection with iTunes. This can occur if the device is manually disconnected during the restore process. This issue can be resolved by performing USB troubleshooting, using a different USB dock-connector cable, trying another USB port, restoring on another computer, or by eliminating conflicts from third-party security software.

Check Hosts file if it is diverting iTunes away from Apple servers.

Have you tried tapping on your id in Settings > Stores on your phone and logging ouy of your account and then logging back in and seeing if that 'refreshes' the account on it ?

Is this the in-app purchase, that does not suucceed? Then check this support document:

The error message can also be due to antivirus software or firewalls peventing the installer to contact the store. Then it would help to boot your Mac into Safe mode, to disable all non-standard extensions and try again to download the additional content:

Error Message and Shut Down When Trying to Add Security Policy

Acrobat 8.1.5 I'm trying to add a security policy. When I click on Finish, I get a message saying there has been an error and Adobe must shut down.
I've checked for updates, restarted Adobe, restarted my computer. Nothing is helping. Here's the details about the message:

I've confimed I'm using 8.1.5 in the Help section.

Apple Mail crashes when I try to print after installing Mavericks...

I have screen shots of the messages and what happens when I try to play games on Facebook since I updated Firefox. Issues I didn't have before the update. Where do I send them? How do I correct this?

The screen shots include the web address for both shots. One is for script error messages that keep interrupting EVERY game. Then after I stop the scrip, Adobe Flash crashes, and I have no control. I have to use the Windows Task Manager to gain access to my home page to get out.
This didn't happen until I updated the Firefox this last time. I've tried everything and nothing works to get rid of the problem.
I've been to your questions, etc and nothing I've found helps.
I use Windows XP
Four sites are the worst; I only play these 4 games on Facebook.

I can't delete a mail message, and Mail crashes when I try

Hello:
I have a new G5 iMac 2.1 GHz. It is bone stock. I am new to Macs.
I use Mail as my client. Yesterday a friend sent me an email with a small video clip that showed up embedded in the text. When I try to manipulate this message (delete, move to another folder, etc) in any way, it crashes mail. When I re-launch Mail, that message is highlighted, and if I even try to select or read another message, it crashes.
Mail seems to have re-installed itself twice (it asked me all the details of my accounts, for example) but the existing emailall seems to be there.
Does anyone know what I can do? It is very frustrating.

HI Wayne! I can suggest one thing for you to try.
CLose mail, then go to
user[whatever you call your own desktop mine is shirleydrabble, then rename the mail folder at /user/Library/Mail
To find it go to your hdd icon. click on your user name >
library, scroll till you find MAil
to something meaningful like mail-backup I saved mine to my desktop so I cold find it easily later without searching and start over again.
Before you do the rebuild as below you might want to delete that particular email, unfortunately to find it you will have to open each message which will be in the form emix with a number, but as long as you know in which of your mailboxes it is you might be able to find it easily.
Then you can Launch Mail, re-enter your account information and -using the Finder- if you have saved it to your desktop you don't need finder copy the old mailbox folders to their corresponding location in the new /user/Library/Mail folder.
Just drag them there
They might appear empty when opening your normal Mail.app in your dock, if that is where you keep it.
afterwards. In Mail.app select a mailbox and simply hit Mailbox->Rebuild.
IF you get ANY problems doing this post back I am sure someone else can help more.
but as long as you rename the mail folder with back up in its name you will NOT lose any emails. but it might take time to get them all where you want them
Just a thought
When you download your mail do you leave a copy on the server? I was then thinking you could go to the server and delete the message online if it is in a WEBMAIL account like yahoo.then when you have renamed your mail folder to mail_backup you could just download all your mail again.
I am hoping that you do not have hundreds of them, or that you only have one or two mailboxes set up.

I think read this then get back with your questions if you are unsure about anything.

I'm getting an error message in Lightroom 6 when I try to export a photo. It's "The specified folder is not writable". It doesn't matter which folder I pick, I get the same message. However, if I open the image in photoshop and then save it, it works just

I've already reset my lightroom preferences, didn't work. I also uninstalled, and reinstalled lightroom. Didn't work either.
I have no problems with any other programs including photoshop, so this has to be an issue with lightroom.
Also, I can import from a memory card using lightroom and save to them to the folders just fine, the error only comes when I'm exporting a photo after I'm done editing in.
I'm running windows 8.1 and the folders are all onedrive folders. (I have unlimited onedrive storage so I take full advantage of it.) I've always saved them this way, and only started having trouble after updating to Lightroom 6

The problem with write permissions for the OneDrive folder only shows up in Lightroom 6's export dialogue, that's why it's to irritating. Lightroom 5.7.1 is not having that problem nor does the file explorer. The problem also exists on both of my machines. I/Messaging and Instagram crash when I try to take a picture through them, Camera app works though

Hi community.
     I use an iPhone 4s that's about seven months old. When I open Instagram, I can freely browse through my following photo stream, explore profiles, etc. But when I open the page to edit or take my own picture, it crashes immediately. Same with i/Messaging - I select the option to take a photo or video and attach it to my message, but as soon as the shutter "clicks" the app crashes (this happened when texting both iPhone owners and non-owners).
     However, I can take and save pictures using the Camera app perfectly fine and have no trouble attaching pictures to messages, so long as the photos were previously taken. No problems with screenshots or saving pictures from the internet either.
     What could be the cause of this? Is it repairable? Thanks for your help.

For Instagram you can try and uninstall and reinstall the app and see if that fixes it. But if not you can try and resetting all settings, Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings.

Error Message and Black screens?

My mbp has been experiencing the black screens of death and so im sending mine in to get repaired. But while not running on the 512 graphics card i've gotten error screens that have multiple languages saying i have to restart my computer and the the screen goes grey. It's only happened twice and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem with there new macbook pro? I remember this happening to my old PB 12inch but when that happened the graphics never seemed to fix itself after being restarted and was told it was my logic board. Could it be that the 256 sautered graphics card is bad in the new mbps as well as the 512 external?

Alright got my computer back and it seems to be running fine, have been using it for about 2 days now. Im not sure if they have replaced anything in the computer though. I checked online when it was in the shop and it had said no problem was found. So I called them and said I knew for fact something was wrong and so 5 days later I got my computer back with some apple repair papers inside. The papers aren't very specific other then in the "Service Description and Parts Used**" it states, "The following services and/or replacement parts were used to service your product."; 605-1688 PCBA MLB CTO 2.8 +"Other Parts Used As Required"+
So maybe they replaced something or maybe im just lucky I haven't gotten any problems yet, only more time will tell I guess unless anyone can figure out what all the previous stuff I mentioned means.
