Error message backing up iphone 4s to windows 7
I have been trying to back-up my iphone 4s to my new windows 7 pc and I get an error message stating that the back up was corrupt or not compatible with my iphone. Any suggestions? I previously was able to back up to my old pc. I was also hooked up to back-up to the cloud, but wanted to back up to my pc for added security. This is the first time I am trying to back this phone up to this pc. Help?!?!

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

When I am restoring backup data for my iPhone 4 in the end of back up restore it show error message " back up can't be restored" , please advice what I can do to restore my backup
That usually means that there is something wrong with the backup and it cannot be used. You can try restoring the backup again, but if you continue to get the same message all you can do is restore to a different backup, if you have one.

Curretly, there is an iCloud blackout. It started this morning around 2AM California time (Pacific), 5AM New York (Eastern). A lot of people have been having issues all day, including me. No iCloud services are online. Even Find My iPhone is down.

During sync, itoons error message "User's iphone cannot be synced. You do not have enought access proviliedges for this operation". Never happened before, any ideas what to do? Checked and new computer is authorized. Greg

i have an apple 3g, tried to upgrade it to a 4.2 version, (previously it was 4.1). it wasnt successful, the computer asked us to restore it to the version which was last operational, and while restoring an error message appeared "the iphone could not be restored, an unknown error occured
"This error is caused by attempts to downgrade the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch's software. This can occur when you attempt to restore using an older .ipsw file. Downgrading to a previous version is not supported. To resolve this issue, attempt to restore with the latest iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software available from Apple."

Plug your iPhone into iTunes and update it to the latest supported version, which is 4.2.1.

Error message when using a Pop up window
Hello again,
Got another pesky bug. I have a site http://www.abcardio.org
When I click on the top news item, which is a popup window, it opens fine but I see and error message in the bottom of the window in IE7 for Windows. It says line: 225, Error: member not found.
Earlier today I was getting an error message in IE7 stating the signature of the site could not be verified.

I have just installed the latest version of iTunes. I am getting error messages that my iPhone and iPad "can't be used because the required software is not installed". It asks me to uninstall and reinstall but I've done this and am getting the same message.

SamYou have it set to automatically set the time and date. To do that it has to be able to reach out to iCloud to get the time and date and something is blocking it from being able to do so. So either need to fix the network/Internet connection or set it to not automatically set the time.

HELP I keep getting an error message on my IPHONE 4 that says Unable to connect to Cellular Data and I have tried to reset network settings and factory reset but nothing helping so far. Took it to Verizon and they couldn't fix it either, said it's a problem with the phone itself and to contact Apple. My warranty is expired so Apple isn't much help either. How do I fix this? I have a data package so confused and I have had my phone for over a year but never had this issue before.
