I want to install Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary in my laptop but each time i tried, I received an error message "nspr4.dll in missing". What should I do to solve this problem as I am desparate to install it because I need it very much.

Nspr4.dll error message might appear while using or installing certain programs.
Nspr4.dll error are caused by situations that lead to the removal or corruption of the nspr.dll files and in some cases , nspr4.dll error could also indicate a registry problem
    follow the following steps.
    1. Download nspr4.dll flie from a reliable source
    2.open thee file location of program(eg. C:\Program Files\Oxford Dictionary)
3.Drag the downloaded nspr4.dll file to the above file location

  • Error message : "Preflight.dll is missing or corrupt"

    Hi,
I'm currently converting a bunch of PDF thesis into PDF/A 1-b through an Action (batch processing). Some of them resist conversion : Acrobat displays an error message : "Preflight.dll is missing or corrupt".
If I do it manually (open the PDF document and then "Save as"-> "PDF/A") :
    - for 3 of them I always get the above-mentioned error message
    - for 3 others I manage to create a PDF/A 1-b version, but when I open it in Acrobat and browse through the document I get a popup telling me "Impossible to extract embedded font xxxxxxxxxxx. Some characters might be displayed or printed incorrectly" [homemade translation from french to english ;-)].
3 fonts seem to cause this problem :
    RRTVUI+Calibri,Italic
    ALONFR+Calibri
    SAPTZM+Calibri
N.B. : I'm using a PC with Windows XP and Acrobat XI Pro v. 11.0.3
As I understand it, PDF/A 1-b norm requires all fonts to be included into the PDF file. But what happens when the author of the document used a font that I don't have on my computer ? Does it mean that in thoses cases I won't be able to create a PDF/A 1-b version for archiving purposes ?
This is all the more troubling that in  one of the PDF/a 1-b with font problems, I realized that the original text has been altered (some "%" characters are not displayed at all).
At first I intended to archive only the PDF/A 1-b version of the thesis files, but now I realize that this is much more complicated than I thought : some PDF refuse to be converted (for a yet unknown reason), and some are altered in the process !
Can you please help me to find out :
    - why some PDFs can't be converted to PDF/A 1-b ("Preflight.dll is missing or corrupt")
    - a way to remedy the font problem ?
    Thanks !

Yes, and yes. You have to embed it (rules of PDF/A) and therefore you have to own it. There doesn't seem to be any way around this.
It's certainly not the case that every PDF can be made suitable for PDF/A.

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with a Windows OS dll.
Perhaps try an sfc /scannow. For instructions, see the following Microsoft document:

  • HT1923 I have iTunes installed on a PC running Windows 7. When I downloaded an iTunes update, iTunes wouldn't open, and diplayed a "system error" message: MSVC80.dll file missing. Does this indicate a Windows 7 problem? Is it fixable?

Unable to open iTunes on PC running Windows 7. Error message: MSVC80.dll missing. ITunes had been working normally until I downloaded an update, and the error message appeared.

    Hello bhillblom,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with installing the latest iTunes update.  I recommend following the steps below:
    Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
    Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
    Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
    Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
    Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.
When you get to the step to uninstall iTunes, it is important to uninstall iTunes and the related components in the order listed in the link for that step.

  • TS1368 When downloading the latest updateI get an error message MSVCR80.dll is missing

I have come up against an error created when downloading the latest update to itunes. This does not download and if you follow the instructions of going to tools and download manually then update it creates an error message of MSVCR80.dll is missing please reinstall and try again. This error message comes up all the time and to get around it I have had to reboot my system from a previous saved date and not do the latest download. I am now trying to get my itunes account sorted but it will let me access my music however, when I try to view the movies I have purchased it states itunes is not working properly and closes it down. I tried to email itunes but it said I had to use internet explorer which I was using, I had to download firefox and then delete all the rubbish which came with it before it would allow me to send them an email with my problems, what a joke! I am now losing all confidence in itunes and the latest downloads. So disappointing when it was working so well until now!

  • Error Message - ONCOREFoundation7.dll is missing

When I launch the Editor in Photoshop Elements 11, I am getting a message that says "The program can't start because ONCOREFoundation7.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."  Despite this message my Editor comes up and seems to be working fine.  I recently installed a trial version of OnOne PerfectResize and found that my Intel chip will not work with any of the new OnOne's add ins, so I reinstalled the older version of OnOne Essentials (..I use their frames a lot with my photos).  I am not sure if this message has something to do with Photoshop Elements 11 or with OnOne software. Should I be concerned and can anyone help me with this?

I have had this problem with PS CC, and I do have OnOne software installed. Even though I got this warning, my software worked just fine, so I ignored it until now.  Today I decided to search for it. I use a free program called "Everything Search" (http://www.voidtools.com/), it searches only files, so it is fast. Anyway I discovered that I had  6 to 8 installations of this library on my system. At any rate I was not missing the file.  It turns out that it may be the other way around, the file may exist, as in my case, but the files that use is may be gone.  I discovered it was present in my CC folder, which I hoped and expected. But I also found it my my CS6 folders, the problem is that I had uninstalled CS6, but the uninstall had left several copies of these files and nothing else in my CS6 folder.  I deleted the folders as I did not  need them.  I relaunched  CC, and no problem.  So I would suggest searching your drives for all copies of this file. If you find copies in a defunct folder, delete it.  If this does not work, then I would suggest uninstalling the OnOne software, delete ANY copy of this file, then reinstall the latest version you have, that m ay solve the problem.
