Error message cannot be synced
Whenever i try to sync my ipod an error message pops up. it reads...
"The iPod cannot be synced. The disk could not be read from or written to."
Can anyone offer advice on how to fix this problem as re-setting and re-installing has not worked.

My Iphone 4S still shows that I have 26G of free space yet I keep getting the same error message when trying to sync to itunes. I know for sure my selected music library + photos are only about 1G combined. I've unchecked sync music and photo which removed the files from the phone. Then resynced and getting the same error message again. Any idea what's causing this and how it can be resolved?
Try resetting the iPhone.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. -

5th generation iPod Nano - iPod syncs with my iTunes and I can see it in iTunes, but when I try to move a song from my iTunes to the iPod I get an error message "Cannot by synced, Unknown error occurred (1039). System works fine with my 4th generation iPod Nano. I'm afraid to "RESET" my iPod because I may not be able to restore my music and videos afterwards.
Hello Ventanilla 97,
I agree with planb77 with recreating your itunes library. That will fix your issue. If you would like more step by step info go here:

I'm getting the error message "Photos folder syncing has been disabled for the iPhone <my iPhone> because the folder "Pictures" cannot be found." lately.
Normally, all I do with photos is move them from my iPhone to my computer's (Windows 7) hard drive. I do this by connecting the iPhone with the cable, a box pops up on the screen asking me what I want to do, and I choose "Import pictures and videos". I've previously selected the "delete photos from the device after move" option (or however it's worded...), simply because I don't want this device to fill up with photos.
Lately, it has been importing the photos fine, but it won't delete them from the iPhone. This used to work just fine, now it doesn't work and I don't know what changed, if anything. In iTunes, I get the error message I list at the beginning of this message.
How do I fix this?Hi there scarbo59,
You mentioned that you are still able to import without issues, but you may still want to run through the troubleshooting steps outlined in the article below.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
I have seen previous versions mentioned in a pop up message before on iCloud.com, but I'm not really sure at all how it would help, as I couldn't get it to do anything.
The best advice I have at this time is to back up your work on your iOS device by regularly saving it to iTunes, if anything goes wrong you can then either load it into the numbers app again on the device or recover it via iTunes on your computer.
My syncs are immediate, I never get chance to see if it works in the background, sorry. -

I have a third gen 4gig nano that I got at Christmas. I added two CD's onto it when I got it. Now, however, I'm having trouble syning anything else - that's all I've been able to put on it are the two CD's even though I've added more into my library. I keep getting the error message "Cannot find required disk". Can anyone help me or tell me what I need to do?
Thanks in advance!Even though you're not getting a -50, I'd check on the following document. (Your message is one of the possible symptoms of the problem outlined in the document.)
