Error Message "Check your settings and try again (-369033213)"

I received a Apple TV for Christmas and went to set it up tonight. I didn't expect it to be easy as my WIFI is WAP2 Enterprise and therefore has a few other hoops to jump through.
I downloaded the latest Apple Configurator and uploaded a profile with  the correct credentials.
It all seemed to go fine until the last stage where it asks me to
unplug the mini usb,
unplug the power-cable,
plug in the power cable and wait until the light stops flashing and
replug the mini usb
After doing this it confirms a couple of tasks then stalls ont eh second to last task during configuration and says that the Apple TV couldn't be configured
After a couple of unsuccessful tries I plugged back in the hdmi cable and had a look on the device and the profile was loaded but couldn't connect to network.
I tested the network and got error Check your settings and try again (-369033213).
This appears to be related to the certificates not being added to the profile. These were old posts. Is this still the case?
I am a little surprised it requires the certificates to be added, Phone, laptop and computer all use the same wifi and haven't had any problems.
Is there a workaround? Techs wont be around until January and as I am not an administrator for the network wont be able to get the certificates until then.
Thanks

Apple need to look into fixing this issue. It's beyond a joke as to why they haven't made Enterprise networking a priority let alon multilicensing in Schools state and worldwide.
If anyone knows a fix that could be altered on certificates, please let me know. Although most schoold environments running a Government based certificate cannot be change or implemented any different than the rest.
Hopefully there's an update fix soon.

  • Check your settings and try again (37). What is this?

Keep getting the message "there is a problem connecting to the network. Check your settings and try again (37). The Apple TV unit can see the name of my network but will not connect. I have tried to type all the Ip addresses and routers and subnet manually also and have also connected the apple tv unit to the imac and itunes to get the latest software and to restore the unit.
I can operate a laptop in the room so the signal strength is good enough, however when apple tv is on screen it does not show any bars in the signal strength.
I have connected apple tv to a room next to the router and still no luck.
Only think have not tried is a hardwire connection as the router and the tv are not close enough.

I don't think you'll see a signal strength indicator until the connection is actually made.
If the AppleTV shows your network name signal must be at least good enough to detect it.
It could be AppleTV is having issues with your wi-fi encryption protocol - what are you using? What kind of router?

  • Trying to Hot Sync Visor Pro with Windows 7 (64 bit OS) - getting error: "The connection between your handheld computer and the destktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again."

    Hi.
I read the posting regarding the options on Hotsyncing for Windows 7; however, I have some questions as I have a 64-bit system.
I have a Visor Pro that I'm trying to Sync up with my new laptop which is running Windows 7.
    Steps I have taken:
    * installed the Visor Palm Desktop 3.0.1 that came with the Visor (which the installation went well)
    * The issue arises when I push the "Sync" button on the cradle and the following error message appears "The connection between your handheld computer and the destktop could not be established.  Please check your setup and try again."
Since I have a 64-bit OS it appears that I have 2 options: 1) bluetooth or 2) Infrared.
I have to admit I don't know know how to do either of these (how can I tell if this Handspring Visor Pro has bluetooth (which I don't it does)?).
Then how about the Infrared option?  I see on the PDA it has a red area that one can "beam" info.  Is this the same as Infrared or my 2nd option?
I love my Visor and want to continue using it, but need to backup the valuable info!
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
    THANKS!!!!!
    Post relates to: Visor Pro

Hello lwalbring and welcome to the Palm forums.
Your Visor, as you suspect, does not have Bluetooth, so you must use the IR HotSync option.  Since you are using Windows 7 64-bit, I believe that you are going to have to upgrade to Palm Desktop 6.2.2 to make things work from an OS/Driver perspective.
Since you are using such an old device, you are also going to have to download and install the PalmHotSyncSetup Utility from Pimlico.  This update turns on support for old Palm OS PDAs in Palm Desktop 6.2.2.  Without the update, you won't be able to sync your Visor with Palm Desktop 6.2.2.  The software is free and the link is all the way at the bottom of the screen.
Lastly, if your PC doesn't have an IR port on it, you will need to purchase a USB to IR adapter.  Some laptops still have IR ports and most desktops don't.
Once you have all the pieces, you'll want to go back to the Windows 7 and Vista HotSync thread again, and follow the directions for setting up and configuring IR HotSyncs.

If you purchased the iPhone from Apple or an authorized Apple reseller,
contact them for assistance. If you purchased elsewhere, go back
to that retailer and get them to give you a new iPhone or your money
    back.
If you have checked the serial number carefully and re-entered it
and that gave you the same error message, contact Apple if purchased
from Apple or authorized retailer; otherwise you have been scammed
and need to pursue the matter with the business you obtained the
    iPhone from.

    Hi,
What version of the OS did you upgrade from ?
Anything before OS X 10.8.2 may have an issue if the Logic/Mother board has been replaced and the Serial Number not "flashed" back to it.
In the Apple Icon menu use the About this Mac item.
In the new panel click twice on the line that tells you the current OS level
It will change to the Build number (and alternative count to the OS versions) and then the Serial Number.
If it is missing you need to get it replaced.
(It is supposed to be done on Repair or Refurbishment).
An Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider as the best choices.
There are apps you can download (They are Mac Model specific) but needs careful typing as it is a once only trip.
