Error message downloading photos.

I have Photoshop Elements 8. I plug my camera memory card into a built in card reader in my Windows Vista computer. I choose Organizer to get photos. A message s
ays not all of photos can be obtained from device. Only a few photos are downloaded.
BUT when I open Photoshop Elements 6 I am able to download all photos with no problem. In addition I am able to use Windows to obtain all phot
os from card.
What is wrong with Photoshop Elements 8?
It has worked in the past. Nothing was changed. I erased camera card and tried with new photos. Still won't work!
Operating System: Windows Vista

Which formats are rejected by PSE8...
JPEG2000 file formats are not supported by PSE8 now.

Are there photos in the Library? If not then just trash it and launch iphoto. It will make a new one.
If there are pics in it then Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later...
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

You can perform steps from beginning one more time.
1 )Open Control Panel and Navigate to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features .
Under Program and Features list , locate Adobe Creative Cloud and uninstall the same.
2) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.
3) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and if present delete Adobe Creative Cloud folder.
4) Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) along with R button together at a time , you will get a run command window.
Type in below command and hit 'Enter' key.
appdata
Then navigate to Local>Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and delete folders named AAMUpdater and OOBE.
Important : Disable AntiVirus and Firewall temporarily.
Click on the below link and download Creative Cloud setup file and use the same to install the Creative Cloud Desktop application.

Once the installation process is completed, try loading Apps tab and check,
Still face same issue , create new Admin account on your Windows computer and launch Creative Cloud desktop app and try loading Apps list.

OFFICE 365 is a cloud version of OFFICE 2013. Full compatibility with Acrobat requires an updated Acrobat XI. You will likely have to store the file and then open in AA 9. To create a PDF you will have to print to the Adobe PDF printer or use the MS plugin that has several issues.

Error message downloading from digital camera

iPhoto cannot import your photos because there was a problem downloading an image.
I need help getting past this error message. My camera and laptop have been compatable
until now. I have recently removed all videos from the laptop and put them on an external
hard drive..... HELP!

The point in trying to download to another machine is that it would help us exclude some possibilities.
This could be caused by
A problem with
iPhoto.app
The iPhoto Library
Image Capture
A Faulty USB Port
A faulty Cable
A Faulty port in the Camera
A faulty Card in the Camera
A faulty file on the Card.
So, let's try exclude from the other side:
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Can you import this new, blank Library?

Error message with photos on new 30gb

i follow all the steps to put the photos on through itunes and i keep getting error messages,
either 'cannot copy to vickys ipod as the disk can not be read or read from'
or 'cannot copy to vickys ipod as cannot find the selected folder'
ive tried lots of different things but nothing is working music and video and podcasts are perfectly fine, but i cant get photos on it!
any help or ideas would be wonderful thanks

Try this:
To download photos from a folder on your hard disk to iPod:
1 Drag the images you want into a folder on your computer.
If you want images to appear in separate photo albums on iPod, create folders inside the main image folder, and drag images into the new folders.
2 Open iTunes and select iPod in the iTunes Source list. Then click the Options button.
3 Click Photos and select “Synchronize photos from.”
4 Choose “Choose Folder” from the pop-up menu and select your image folder.

Hi, I had the same problem. I finally figured it out. Plug in the USB cord to your ipad, but beofre plugging it into your computer make sure your ipad is not in the locked or sleep mode. Once I did this, my photos showed up and started downloading. Hope that helps you!

Error message for photo on third of three photo page

I'm dragging and dropping just fine, but on one month where i'm doing three photos (actually the default for March in the Animals Theme), I get the ! in the yellow triangle. Searching Help, it indicates that i have a low resolution problem. However, the res seems fine. And it doens't matter which photo I drop into that slot. They each give me the error message. Any thoughts?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. What are the pixel dimensions of the photos you're trying to use?
The first thing to try is to delete the iPhoto folder that's in your User/Library/Caches folder. Then restart iPhoto.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application, iPhoto dB file backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
