Error message during duplicate Pur Requisition creation for same Sale Order

Dear Experts,
I need your help to sort out a issue related to Stock Transport Order.
Our scenario is as below:
1) Sales order is raised first.
2) Stock transport requisition raised off in the background of a sales order automatically.
3) This PR turned into an Stock Transport Order PO manually.
4) Create delivery for STO from supplying plant and then GR is done in receiving plant. Create inter-company invoice.
5)Create delivery for sales order to issue the stock to end-customer and raise invoice.
This is standard scenario.
Problem comes when some smart uses manually creates another stock transport requisition again for same SO, which is turned into an STO. Means there is a duplication of STO PO.
My question to you experts, is there any standard way to prompt error or warning message, when users try to create purchase requisition manually for the same SO.
Account assignment category in PR is M - Ind. cust. w/o KD-CO.
Please suggest.

if this is the case you can use the User exits for the same.

Purchase requisition creation (STO) from Sales order

Hi Gurus,
Read the following scenario:
Sales order is created with delivery plant A. No stock on plant A.
Purchase requisition is created from plant B to plant A (intra-company flow or stock transfer order).
Problem is that the purchase requisition needs a price. It is not logical because intra-company flow (stock transfer in same company flow) is like a stock transfer without purchasing. So in my mind, I don't have to maintain price.
Also if I use ME27 to create manually STO between both plants, price is not asked.
Other question is: is it possible to create directly a purchase order when sales order creation (and not purchase requisition, newt convert into PO)?

Hi Stéphane Vituret, Did you manage to find a solution for this. I have a similar problem as well.
Please find the scenario below.
Cusotmer places order of Mat-XX to Company A. The Company A creates PO to Company B. Company B delivers to Company A and then invoices Company A. Company A receives the goods into own stocks. Now the Company A delivers to the customer from its own stocks and then invoices Customer.
I decide to go ahead with the Individual Purchase order solution and since the Company A is buying from Comapny B, I decided to integrate the Cross Company STO flow in the procurement part. Hence the flow in SAP is like;
Cusotmer placese order to Company A
Comapny A creates a Individual Purchase order type Sales order. So the Item category is TAB.
This sales order generates a PR. PR is conveted into a CC_STO as thenvendor is Plant B in this case . Now this STO appears in the delivery due list of plant B.
Now I genreate the delivery to move stocks from plant B(of co.cd B) to Plant A(of co.cd A).
Here is the problem. I am not able to do PGI as the system checks for "sales order" stock at plant B and throws error
"Sales order stock 36637 000010 does not exist". This should not be the case as the stocks should get attached to the sales order only when recieved into Plant A. Hence system should not check for "sales order stock" at plantB while trying to deliver from Plant B to Plant A.
Lets take a normal IPO scenario.
CusotmerA places order of Mat-A to Company A. This sales order generates a PR. The Company A converts the PR into a std.PO to external vendor. The PO from the sales order will have a account assignment "M- Ind. cust. w/o KD-CO". The stocks will be received into Plant with spl indicator "E" while GR (MIGO). Now the system ensures that this stock can only be delivered against the particular sales order. Thus the stock procured for the customerA is delivered to customerA and not consumed by anybody else. In this case there is only one delivery involved, in SAP, which is 601 mvmt type from the Plant A.
However if the vendor becomes another Plant (Plant B) belonging to another company code then there are two deliveries involved in the SAP system one with mvmt type 643, from Plant B to Pant A, and the second with 601 from Plant A to the customer. Hence the system should check if the stocks are attached with a spl indicator only during the second delivery of 601 mvmt type. I am facing a problem because the system does it for the first delivery itself. If you know the answer please do let me know. I really appreciate it. Thanks a lot in advance.

GTS Stop delivery creation for blocked sales orders

We implemented Note 579357 to stop the creation of deliveries when sales orders are blocked and everything works correctly except for rush orders (order type SO).
After the note was applied, deliveries are not automatically created for rush orders even though the orders have gone thru screening in GTS and have been released. Any solution to this problem???

Dear GTS experts,
I'm facing exactly the same problem with rush orders that Sammy Chan describes in his original post.
I checked all replies but I have still no idea to solve this issue. The problem is that when creating the delivery during a rush order creation at the time the system reaches the copy condition with the implemented coding there is no order number available to check against in GTS.
As the whole thread is marked as answered I hope someone can help me.

Automatic production order creation for remaining sales order quantity

Hi All,
My requirement is to create automatic production order for a particular material when the available quantity ( Stock in MD04) is less than the sales order / Delivery quantity.Automatic production order should only be created for deficit quantity.
For example if i have stock of material A 100. I have recieved a sales order for 120 pieces. Now automatic production order should be created for 20 pieces only.
Any inputs/ suggestions, please let me know.

Hi Pawan
In Material Master MM01 / MM02, you need to maintain 20 in MRP3 --> Planning --> Strategy Group.
If you maintain this, items can be produced only against sale order you are creating.
Dont forget to reward if this helps you.

Define the characteristics of the validity table for non-cumulatives
Message no. R7846
Diagnosis
The InfoCube contains non-cumulative values. A validity table is created for these non-cumulative values, in which the time interval is stored, for which the non-cumulative values are valid.
The validity table automatically contains the "most detailed" of the selected time characteristics (if such a one does not exist, it must be defined by the user, meaning transfered into the InfoCube).
Besides the most detailed time characteristic, additional characteristics for the InfoCube can be included in the validity table:
Examples of such characteristics are:
A "plan/actual" indicator, if differing time references exist for plan and actual values (actual values for the current fiscal year, plan values already for the next fiscal year),
the characteristic "plant", if the non-cumulative values are reported per plant, and it can occur that a plant already exists for plant A for a particular time period, but not yet for plant B.
Procedure
Define all additional characteristics that should be contained in the validity table by selecting the characteristics.
In the example above, the characteristics "plan/actual" and "plant" must be selected.
The system automatically generates the validity table according to the definition made. This table is automatically updated when data is loaded.

Hi,
Go to the Extras Tab in the definition of the Cube and there select " Maintain Non-Cumulatives" and there select the Plant check box. You can also check Material but it is not recommended. Now try to activate the cube. I think it will work for you.

The error occurs during asset master record creation.
Our fiscal year variant is Z6 (July to June). The asset was acquired in June 15 (previous fiscal year) but was only set up on July 30 (this fiscal year) . When we put the depreciation start date as 15 June the error appeared. While saving the Asset master we are getting below error.
We tried the same with Post Capitalization of Asset (ABNAN) there also we are getting same error.

have you generated the period controls properly? If not, the error is raised correctly by the system.
To generate period controls go to:
IMG Asset Accounting -> Depreciation -> Valuation Methods -> Period Control -> Generate Period Controls / or you can use OA84

Error Message not getting clear while creation of purchase order

Hi All,
I am facing one problem while creating purchasing order.
I have written one user-exit for purchase order. User has to enter purchase requisition number for certain purchase order type. If he doesnt enter PR number, we have to throw an error message.
I have used the MM06E005 for the same. User exit is working fine, but the problem is, all error messages are collected in log and it will be displayed in a dialog screen when you check the document (Transaction ME21N).
When I enter PR number and check the document, the error message is still there, system is not clearing the error log. I have created Z message class and have used in User exit.
Do you guys have any solution for this? Am I using the right user exit? What should I do to clear the error message?
If you dont have answer, please pass it to your friends also.

Error Message During Vista Install W/ Bootcamp

I crashed my original vista installation, so I am trying to get it up and running again. After deleting the old partition and creating a new one with BCA in Leopard, I get this error message during vista installation
Windows cannot install required files. The file does not exist. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and then restart installation. Error Code: 0x80070005
I thought maybe it was My Vista DVD, so I borrowed a friends, and it did the same thing. This is on a Macbook PRO purchased a little over a month ago.
Please HELP! I need my vista installation up and running for work!

I don't really understand that statement as without any drives showing up how were you able to even start the install?
At any rate, during your first installment, the one that succeded, do you remember which partition it was that you Formated with the windows installer? When you use Boot Camp to partition and install the windows os, BC sets the volume name to BOOTCAMP. As far as I know this is the one that you must use for your windows os. Before you can install windows though, you must use the windows installer to format it to NTFS <----- the format type depends on a at least a few conditions, the one that I can remember is partition size. I believe 32G and above it HAS to be NTFS. But my point is, if you try and use any other partition that might come up on your list besides the one that BC made for you, it will probably error out (if you even get anywhere at all with it). Do you know FOR SURE that you chose the correct partition to format? This is the only other possibility that I can come up with at the present time.

I uninstalled because Itunes would not upgrade. Now I can't install. I was able to install an older version, but couldn't access my music because it was an older version, so I uninstalled that and now have nothing. I would appreciate any help.

Glad to read that renaming trick helped to get iTunes installed for you. Your thread here is fine for more questions.
Search your hard drive for your music - it should still be there, but perhaps this fresh install of iTunes just isn't seeing it.

You absolutely do NOT want to sync your iPhone with an empty iTunes library. It will erase everything. Apple only gives you one download and you need to make backups. I hope it is still on your PC! But at least you have it on your iPhone.
I don't think you synced your iPhone with your father's iTunes, or his music would be on it. Have a look in a folder named Previous iTunes Libraries. There might be an iTunes database ITL file in there that you can use.
They have names like "iTunes Library 2009-04-06.itl" which would be from April 6th, 2009.
Press and hold the shift key while starting iTunes, and when prompted, choose the most recent previous library. Does it show most of your music, and can you play some songs in iTunes OK?

"iTunes has stopped working" error message during syncing

I've downloaded the latest version of iTunes, and just started to download Podcasts. But now I get the error message during syncing....almost everytime. Is there a solution out there or update that I haven't downloaded??

Same problem here! Moreover, for some reason, the pictures in my iPhone 3GS somehow have been divided into 2 folders, Photos and Medialibrary. And when I open iPhone as a folder through the explorer I can see only the Photos folder, but cannot see the Medialibrary folder which stores the photos taken before updating/upgrading the iPhone and getting separated folders!!! What the hack with all of this?!!! When I connect iPhone to PC it automatically opens iTunes and starts syncronizing it, but at the process of OPTIMIZING the photos (and according to the number of photos it shows, I see that it tries to syncronize that invisible Medialibrary folder) the process suddenly stops and error message pops out Tried the sync test, tried the button DEBUG in that pop out message, but NOTHING HELPS!!! Also, when I open the Medialibrary in my iPhone, the screen get sblack all through scrolling it down, only the video clips are shown there... >.<
So, could you, apple developers, please, explain WHAT THIS PROBLEM IS ABOUT?!!!!!! FIX IT! I am getting ****** of to spend hours at the computer and reading those lame advises which do not help at all! I have my own things to do except reading your support websites. Today I received the same error that you all have been discussing. I tried selecting the DRM
and this did not work for me, though I'm glad it did for some. Here's what I did as a work-around. . .
Since iBooks Author did not have a problem with Videos, I simply used one of my video programs, ScreenFlow to turn the audio into a video file m4v. I added an image and extended the length or timing of the image to span the length of the audio file. Then exported as an .mov. I then opened QuickTime and opened the file and exported the file to iTunes.
You can use iMovie, Camtasia or any other progam that will allow you to export the audio as a movie file. Does this make sense? I hope this helps, at least in the short-term.

First let me start by saying that I know next to nothing about Flash. I have inherited a website maintenance project that has a Flash rotating image banner. I have managed to get the images to fade-in and fade-out correctly, but now I need to make these images clickable - linking images to pages in the website. I have read many posts here and have reviewed the video tutorials. I have been able to get the first image clickable using this AS3 action:
