I receive an error message stating elements organizer 13 has stopped working. How do I fix this?

Finally found a representative that fixed my problem here's what to do for Windows 8
1. Launch Elements Organizer
2. Click on Help > System Info
3. In system Info Dialog,you will see a Current Catalog category.
4. Copy the location mentioned adjacent to Catalog Location.
5. Now press (windows +R) buttons to open the Run Dialog and paste the location you copied
6. This will open the folder containing your catalog.
7. Search for 'thumb5.cache' entry there and rename it to thumb5_old.cache
8. Now, relaunch Organizer and wait for some time. If the files are heavy, EO will take some time in generating thumbnails.
Please let me know if it does not help.

Disk error message in Organizer

When I open Organizer in Acrobat Pro 9, I get a No Disk error message:
"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Devise\Harddisk\DR1" with buttons to Cancel, Try Again, Continue.
If I cancel [and I have to cancel twice for each error message, the message changes to ...Harddisk2\DR2 through to Harddisk4\DR4.
I always get there in the end, but how can I stop the error messages appearing in the first place? It's incredibly irritating!
There are no preferences for Organizer, and nothing I can see in the Acrobat preferences that would help.

I'm surprised PS even runs on that computer although of course 5.0 LE is pretty old.
A 165 MB file may just be too much for it.
How can you "set your c drive to 4096MB"? Do you mean Paging file?

Watch Folder Returned an error message(Elements 10)

I recently upgraded from elements 8 to version 10, and am having nothing but trouble in one area. When I start Elements, the box will come up saying "updating", and will take sometimes 18 hours to go to 100%, even if there have been no photos to add. Whe it gets to 100%, I get this message: "The watch folder service returned and error: Message format, Invalid Tag Id"
Has anyone heard of this? Should I reinstall elements and start over? The program is basically unusable. I'm stumped and normally very good at this. I'm running a fast desktop, windows 7, etc. Please help!

I'm not sure which step solved the issue however I run a security software on my Mac so I disabled that completely.
Then I located iMovie in the APP Store and instead of a button saying BUY it was labeled as INSTALL.
So having done those 2 steps, iMovie went ahead and updated to 10.0.4.
My guess is the security software was blocking the update somehow.

Error Message: Element TNG_PREFERED_IMAGE_LIB is undefined in REQUEST.

This is occurring when I try to use the Upload Image server behavior in ADDT. I have used this server behavior so many times and have never seen this error message before. Does anyone have any ideas?

No, ColdFusion has no "code behind" concept. You define a form by building a html form. If there is a html form input element named "template" and it is submitted it will exist in the "form" structure for the coresonding action cfml template.
There are some well known gotchas here. Radio and checkbox controls are only created if they are selected otherwise they do not exist.
A form method of "get" populates the URL scope, a form method of "post" populates the FORM scope.
These scopes only get populated on the immediate request from the submit action. Anything that causes the code to move to a new request such as <cflocation...> will not carry the URL or FORM data with it.

Error Message Elements 6, RAW 5.2

Using Elements 6, I upgraded to Camera Raw 5.2. Now every time i try go to Full Edit from Organizer i get this message: "The Application or DLL C:/then my path/CameraRaw.8bi is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against the installation diskette".
I reinstalled Elements 6, but i get this message whenever i open up any type of file.

You should have removed the older raw plug-in first. Did you unzip the folder on the desktop and them move ONLY the plug-in into the file formats folder, not the whole folder it was in?

Troubleshooting technique number 1 - look at your data. In this case, either msg doesn't exist, or it doesn't contain anything named senderbusinessname. Run the following line somewhere before the error occurs.

I was finally able to create a DITA topic (rather than a reference, concept, or task). However, when I try to insert a task, concept, or reference element after the prolog, I get the following error message:
Element (concept [or task, or reference]) is undefined.
My Topic general rule looks like this:
title, titlealts?, abstract?, prolog>, body?, related links?, (topic | concept | task | reference)*
in the topic.eddmod.fm and has been imported into topic.edd.fm, and topictemplate.fm in addition to concept.edd.fm, reference.edd.fm and a whole boatload of others and their related templates.
Doesn't my general rule "define" concept, task, and reference? If not, what am I missing?

Hi Marsha...
Each "Element" node in the EDD is an "element definition" .. the EDD should contain an element definition for each element. The general rule in each element definition specifies the child elements allowed in that element.
If you're getting the message .. "Element SOMENAME is undefined" .. then that element definition is missing from the EDD. Perhaps some other "mod" inset file is corrupt and it's not loading properly.
Note that it's not DITA 1.2 that's a PITA, it's the way the default DITA 1.2 EDDs are set up that's a PITA. It doesn't have to be that way. Just flatten it and you'll be a happier camper. :-)

After installing Photoshop Elements 12 Organizer starts OK but Editor starts then immediately terminates with no error messages. Suggestions appreciated.

After new install of Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 editor will start but just terminates/disappears with no error message. How do I get rid of an error message that comes up on opening the Photoshop Elements 8 Organizer?

When I double-click on the Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 desktop icon,
an error messsage appears. The title line says:

The program can't start because CoreFoundation.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
I did deactivate, uninstall, and reinstall the program. Still got this message.
When I click OK the error message flickers, then reappears. I click again, same thing. 3rd click, the message disappears and the Organizer opens.
I can get Elements 8 to open, but why this message first, and is there a way to either download the missing file or just get rid of the message?
I did do a computer search and there is no CoreFoundation.dll on my computer.

Everything works great while I am using it but if I do not do anthing in Elements for 4-5 minutes I get the 'Elements 11 Organizer has stopped working' error message, the only option I have is to push the 'Close Program' button. I have been putting up with this but now I cannot do a backup due to this problem.

Hi, I've just noticed that you too were having problems with elements 11, do you have RoboForm running also on your pc? if yes, try switching it off and see how you go! if it now works close elements, go to RoboForm\options\application integration\ then add Photoshop elements application to the list. Elements and RoboForm clash for some reason. Hope this helps
