Error message: Error logging in
Using Mozilla Thunderbird v3.1.3. I have two email accounts, a "personal" one, and a "spam" one (I use the spam one when ordering online or signing up for forums, newsletters, etc). I am unable to download or send any messages from my "spam" email account. The message I get is "Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server incoming.yahoo.verizon.net responded: Error logging in. Please visit http://mail.yahoo.com"
I have received this message in the past, and for some reason if I log into the verizon.net site and change my password it starts to work. However this time this "trick" is not working. Change the password and still get the error message.
Checked all the settings for the "spam" email account and they are 100% same for my "personal" account (which does work) with the exceptions of account names. Also, I can long into verizon.net with the spam account and the password works! So it works for verizon.net but not for Thunderbird? Any thoughts?

Not sure, I have a verizon.net account (got them when I signed up for DSL), but the mail settings are incoming.yahoo.verizon.net
The other day it started working again for no reason (didn't change the password), but now the same account is not sending/recieving mail again, still get the same error message. Even went as far as installing Thunderbird on another computer, getting the same error message.

I'm working on a BADI LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC inside the method FILL_DELIVERY_ITEM. I have to show an error message over here. If i passed like MESSAGE e000(zless) WITH text-006 text-007 it is displaying message but it is come out from the layout of the transaction in scope.
Te be more specific, when the pop up of message comes out and after that the user click on the "Exit" button, the system should go back on the previous layout of the report to allow the user making another selection.
I'm using Vl10D transaction.
Now I'm trying to generate the error message through log by CT_LOG internal table . I have to block the deliveries whichever is creating through this transaction. If for a particular STO there are different loading points then I need to block the deliveries.
I'm trying to block the current delivery using IS_LIKP-LIFSK = 'X' and also I need to block the previous delivery IT_XLIKP-LIFSK = 'X'.
strange thing is happening with STO which has 2 deliveries are getting created (because error msg is not getting tirggered thorugh log), though I have blocked the deliveries.
Could you please let me know how can i populate this error message through log as well as I can block the deliveries?

To lock the delivery, see Note 198137 - VL10: Customer-specific enhancements / user exits and use this userexits. To populate the log I think that using the structure CT_LOG in the BADI is OK. Check when are called the userexit and BADI.

Hi, I cant login to the facebook app on my iphone 5 ios 6.0.2. I keep getting an error message saying 'There was an error logging in using single sign on' when im asked to log in again i get a 'session expired' message. This only started happening yesterday. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks.
I am having the same problem and took the following steps to mitigate it to no avail.
1. I deleted the Facebook app on the phone and turned off Facebook in the iPhone's system-wide settings.
2. I re-enabled Facebook in the iPhone's system-wide settings and reinstalled the Facebook app and logged in again. It worked. For about an hour.
3. I completely restored the phone to a previous backup (before the problems started) and reenabled Facebook .... reinstalled the app.... and now it works intermittenly. But it hasn't worked in about 12 hours now (just tried a few minutes ago).
Please advise. -

I have a problem with OEL 6.5 and ocfs2.
When I mount ocfs2 with mount -a command all ocfs2 partitions mount and work, but when I reboot no ocfs2 partitions auto mount. No error messages in log. I use DAS FC and iSCSI FC.

- Reapply voice-vlan configuration
- Disable/Enable LLDP
- Reboot the Switch
- Reset the Phones
... and only if we do "debug lldp" then it is working...strange -

New error messages related to OHW - filling up error logs.
We've recently received a new delivery of help files (new helpset), but there have also been many other changes to our base software system in the interim. This makes it hard to nail down the culprit.
That said, we are now seeing two messages in the error log any time we access help. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen these, and have suggestions as to the root cause. They are as follows:

We are seeing many of these messages in a row, but they are all like the two types you see above.
Just for completeness, there is one other error message filling our log which we also have not been able to resolve. This one has been around for a while longer:

Could someone please let us know as to how the error messages are being shown up in the b2b frontend in the Business Message Details Report and Error Reports.
In some of the cases the error message logging is not happening properly and even against the valid transaction block the entire iAudit Report or the B2B Analyzer report is getting posted .
In some cases the error message is logged as AIP-51505: General Validation Error (for the transaction block which is valid and having no errors)
Is there any way from the b2b backend these error messages and business messages could be traced or is there any other way wherein the proper and relevant error messages could be tracked from B2B.

SQL Server won't start - unhelpful error message in log
I am running SQL Server 2008 on Windows Server 2008. SQL server had been running using a netowrk account, which i then changed over to a dedicated Active Directory account, and I tried restarting the server. It failed to restart, and produces a number of identical error messages in the event log. The error message is below:
initerrlog: Could not open error log file ''. Operating system error = 3(failed to retrieve text for this error. Reason: 15105)
I've searched the web and have not found a solution. It appears to be a permissions problem (the "Reason: 15105" indicates such), but the permissions on all the data and log folders are correct. The fact that it fails to list the error log file is the must frustrating of all since it gives me no indication of where to look for the problem.
If I try switching the the SQL Server user back to the network account it gives the following error:

The solution of Tibork is the working one for me.
What I did to get this error:
I wanted to move my TempDB to another volume (e). I executed following query:
USE master
GO
ALTER DATABASE tempdb
MODIFY FILE (NAME = tempdb, FILENAME = 'E:\tempdb.mdf')
GO
ALTER DATABASE tempdb
MODIFY FILE (NAME = templog, FILENAME = 'E:\templog.ldf')
GO
Stopped the SQL Server instance and moved the TempDB files from the original DATA folder.
After that, when I restarted the server, it gave me the 1814 error. I tried to undo my actions with no luck.
The working solution for the problem was indeed access rights. I know its not best practice, but since we are in a protected environment I choose to remedy the problem with Tibork's solution:
Start > Control Panel > Adminsitrative Tools > Services
Find the SQL Instance
Right click and choose Properties
Find the logon tab
I changed the logon to "Local System Account"
Worked like a charm. Thanks for the hint. -
Suppress Error Log Message in OO ALV

I am using OO ALV to display an editable ALV GRID. When I have edited the field on ALV, I am validating against the database table. If there is an error, the cell should have focus on the grid. I have used add_protocol_entry to acheive this. But I do not want to display the error log in a separate window. I have tried to suppress the error log message. Any idea ?

This is the standard behaviour when you add a protocol entry. To suppress the log you've to deactivate the protocol display, pass space to the method ACTIVATE_DISPLAY_PROTOCOL( ) of class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID (in the PBO of the corres. screen).

g_grid->activate_display_protocol( space ). "Deactvt Protocol disp.

for Example if company code is not there the move the company code and pernr to ITAB1,
if EMP subgroup is not there in header then move to ITAB2.and at the final appene itab1,itab2 to one more inernal table so that this final table contains all the errored pernrs, and u can display it -

when i was doing call transcation for CJ40 transcation. on the screen while check syntactical error check there were some errors below.
Total plan value less than cumulative plan value
- l2: 2,900.00 < 8,900.00 (AUD)
- l3: 2,900.00 < 8,900.00 (AUD)
The Call transaction on CJ40 results in a generic error message in the error table.

When we are loading cost plan for particular project which contains multiple WBS elements,
First we need to enter the cost plant for LEVEL 1 WBS element ( which is nothing but same name as parent project) and save then only we can enter the cost plant for remaining WBS elements for that particulr Parent project.
If you load the cost plan for LEVEL 1 WBS Elemts first and save it an then enter the values for remaining WBS elements you never get that error message again.

Please let me know if anyone knows an answer to this one... We're in a Hybrid Exchange environment, with 2 x Exchange 2007 servers, and 1 x Exchange 2013 Hybrid server which is pointing to Office 365 for the purposes of relaying mail to O365 while we
migrate our users out there.
We have just finished migrating, but just a couple of days ago we started experiencing delays in email delivery to O365... Not all mail, but some! Incoming email or locally generated email gets relayed out through the Hybrid server and out to O365, but
not all email is delayed... only some, but it's constant. During the busiest part of the day, about 200 messages are sitting in the Queue in Exch2013... but they all eventually resolve between 5 and 45minutes. The users are not happy.
The last error in the queue viewer for each hung email reads: 451 4.4.0 Temporary server error. Please try again later.
If I look at the message tracking logs, I find an interesting item -- "RecipientThreadLimitExceeded":

I have tried to find some documentation on resolution for this RecipientThreadLimitExceeded error, but I can only come up with some Exchange 2011 documentation which recommends adding some entries to the EdgeTransport.exe.config file to bump up the RecipientThreadLimit
value... I have not found anything pertaining to 2013. I cannot even find any powershell commands to see what the current RecipientThreadLimit is on 2013! Aghg!
Has anyone seen this before, or have any recommendations?

MikeAfter many days of frustration, Microsoft Support finally resolved this issue. Believe it or not, but the issue was actually on the Office365 side. Here's the fix:
Exchange Admin Center -> Mail Flow -> Connectors -> Inbound Connectors
Open your "Inbound from <guid>" with the "On-premises" connector type
Click on Scope -> scroll down to "Associated accepted domains"
We had an entry in there "<organization>.mail.onmicrosoft.com"... Microsoft support had us remove this entry so that the box was completely empty.
That RESOLVED it... amazing what what little entry could do. We've had this entry in there for about 2 months, and it had been working fine. Support acknowledged that several customers have had this issue, that they are working on getting it fixed
on the back-end.

Reading heavy excel files page wise using OpenXML
