Dear Sap Gurus
When i tried to post a PR the following error appeared
No commitment item entered in item 00010 MPPL
Message no. FI311
I have tried the the instructions provided in the note 1267998 but still not use. i have tried to make the field status as optional still the error is coming up
My clients requiremnt is to avoid commitment in PR level and to have commitmnet in PO level so i cannot deactivate commitment mangement .Requesting your support

Error Message AM057 while deleting contact person

Hi,
Recently, our company consolidated the SAP platforms for two regions and it is single instance now. The data is migrated to the new system by SLO. After this we are facing an issue while deleting the contact person in customer master. When we select the contact person and delete, we get a message saying "Specify a valid person use (PERSON_REFERENCE)". When we press enter, another entry (above the intended entry) gets deleted.
The performance assistant shows nothing but message no. AM057.
Based on the couple of OSS notes I have searched, I checked the table ADRVP entries and found two entries for that contact person. Both entries have the client number appearing in the field APPL_KEY.
The first record is having old client number and the second record is having the new client number. I presume, we are seeing two records because the data was migrated by SLO. But what is confusing is, both are having same addr.no. and marked as X for Owner (Flag: Adress owner object reference).
Data in table ADRVP looks as under.

Custom error messages on while validating User profile

Hi,
I have developed a valadation handler to validate data of a user while creating/updating.
If any of the attribute valation failed then my ValidationFailedException is getting triggered but it is showing my custom message on the server logs and on UI console i am getting "Server error occured" message. It is not display my custom errror message on the ui console.
Please let me know the steps to perform to show my custom error messages on ui console.
Below are the steps I followed.
1) Develeped a class which implements ValidationHandler.
2) Imported plugin into MDS database
3) Imported EventHandler xml into MDS database.

If it is supposed to be active, but you want to save the deal despite of errors, please check note 1864243 on how to activate the enhancement BADI_ISSR_ADMN_MESSAGE_MM.

Error Message 1316 while uninstalling Java 2 Runtime Env SE v1.4.2_03msi

I recently updated to Java 10 while in the process of clearing some nasty virus/malware off my system. I worked with a tech guide to do the clean up. He told me to uninstall old updates, including Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2_03. In the process, I got this error message:
Error 1316 - A network error occurred while attempting to read from file C:\WINDOWS\Installer\Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2_03msi.
then I clicked OK to continue and got a Fatal Error at the end and the uninstall was unsuccessful.
The tech guide told me that "hackers can use script to infect you via these old versions." The virus/malware we caught was spyware and serious. I'm serious about getting clean... any advice please?

By looking at the message u201CZY012u201D here u2018ZYu2019 could be the trip provision variant name and u2018012u2019 could be the account symbol against which the GL Code (Cost Element) is mapped. Coming to the other part of the message, u201CAccount _ _ _ _ _ _ _must use owned building cost centers" it looks like there is some Validation Rule set in Controlling for the cost element that is assigned to this Account Symbol.
If the observation is correct, please look in T.Code: GGB0 for any Validation Rule set for Cost Element Groups falling in this category (Owned building cost centers). If you know the name of the Cost Element Group and want to look for the Cost Element, go to T.Code: GS03 give Cost Element Group name and enter. Accordingly, if there is no entry of this Cost Element, ask your client and include it in Cost Element Group in T.Code: GS02 else, change the mapping of some other Cost Element (GL Code) against this account symbol.

Have you checked this note Note 445825 - Error message AM057 when deleting a contact person ?

Error message -9808 while trying to sign in to the itunes store

I had the same error code when trying to sort out Home Sharing on my Daughters iMac. The error turned out to be that my Daughters iMac was not authorised with my Apple Account (in iTunes go to Store / Authorise Computer). Also ensure that Parental Controls are not enables within the iTunes preferences.

While trying to update to iOS5, I keep getting this message part way through the back up process:
An error occurred while backing up this iPhone (-43)
Would you like to continue to update this iPhone?
Continuing will result in the loss of all contents on this iPhone.

Is there something else I need to try in order not to receive this error message?
(I have tried rebooting, using different USB ports, changing the sequence of starting iTunes and plugging in the iPhone, fresh install of iTunes 10.5).
If I click Continue, will iOS5 install and will I be able to restore my contents from a prior backup (manual backup before updating)?
I can't find any discussion threads with the same error code.

I lost nothing after the upgrade and "restore from previous backup." The only app that was not functioning after the upgrade was Copilot Europe, but the solution was to delete the app from the iPhone and reinstall it (did not have to pay for it again).
The problem after the upgrade was the fast battery drain and heat that others have been reporting with 4S, but that seems to be an iOS5 issue with some of the settings in Notifications and Location Services. I think I have pretty much solved that one by adjusting some of those. Also, there is already an update to iOS5 in the works.

getting an error message while trying to backup my IPhone 4 that says i will lose all content if i continue. error message is (-5000). what does this mean and how do i fix the problem?

Well, when you click on "update" and it goes partway through and then says it can't continue that does look somewhat error-like to me. :-). I did do a synch when I first plugged the iPad into my desktop, but had to upgrade iTunes and reboot before upgrading the iPad OS, so everything should be backed up. I hope! I don't know how to check on whether things like my appointments or files that I have created get saved in a synch. Selecting each of my pictures and emailing them to myself is an option, I guess.
I am new to the apple world and the thought of losing six month's worth of stuff is intimidating. If only I knew which things would get lost, I'd be able to work with it.

Error message 2003 while restoring Ipod Touch

I am having Itouch 1st generation. It was working fine unless I purchased new IOS 3.1. It didn't install correctly but now my itouch is of no use. iTune is asking me to restore software but while restoring I am getting error message 2003.
I tried multiple options but no luck till now.
