Error Message GLT0 003 during ABAVN

Hi,
Error Message GLT0 003 'Document splitting cannot find a distribution for currency type 10' during ABAVN transaction.
Specificly this error message when doing with multiple assets retirment by scrapping.
Please help me to overcome this issue.

Kindly check the document type you are using.
or try to scrap one asset at a time .
Error might be because asset you scrap are of different profit center of segment.
and document type dose not allow that tyoe of transaction because of Dox Splitting configure in system

We were getting the dump CONVT_OVERFLOW ((exception CX_SY_CONVERSION_OVERFLOW) while doing Currency transalation using FAGL_FC_TRANS. Upon suggestion of SAP we had applied the SAP Notes: 1299593 & 1167551. With the Notes applied the dump has been handled to an Error Message GLT0 004. Upon this SAP had suggested another SAP Solution Note:1072850 to review the configuration for Document Splitting. We are not able to figure out the possible solution.And we are still not able to come out of this error and the Month end closing is stuck as a result. The root cause for this error is ,a verly low balance (.01) in the cash account.
Request your help in coming out of this error.

Display an error message in Portal during creation of Object Link

Hi,
I have a requirement where I need to throw an error message in Portal during creation of Object Link.
The requirement is whenever the user clicks on Item and try to create a Object Link for Material-Plant combination, if the Mat-Plant combination exist, than I have to throw/display an error message.
I tried for some enhancements in BAPI_BUS2172 but it does not work out.
Please help.

During Creation of PO when you click PO Check, What Include you are using.
Cann't you use the BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST and write the code whatever you want in PO_CHECK,
There during Check you use any FM POP_TO_CONFIRM OR POP_TO_INFORM or show any information Message too.

Error message: phone disconnect during sync

i am trying to sync my ical calendar to my iphone.
i repeatedly get the same error message " can not sync calendar because phone has disconnected during sync" even though my phone is def still connected as i see it in itunes.
any ideas?

That disconnection has something to do with your calendar database, and something in there that the sync process doesnt like. Take a look at this thread:

Lots of Error messages in Console during restore...

I am writing, because I have concerns about the restore of my new iPhone 4. Now I´ve noticed this issue for the third time I did a restore from a backup of a previous iPhone model and I just want to verify if this is critical or not...

Now these are just extracts and examples, but these message occured during the whole restore process, which lasted for about 2hours including app installation. If you need the complete log files I can send them to you on request. I really would like to know WHAT this exactly means. Hope somebody can explain it to me.

And finally - this problem seems to have been fixed with iOS 4.3. Or at least the sync session is closed after it runs into this error instead of just hanging.
The initial sync (after upgrade) failed a few times with this same error message as in earlier messages but now appears to complete.
The console still contains errors that I need to look into:

How to save error message that arises during invocation

If any error raises in between the process, how can i save the error status into db adapter field. For example, I will receive a input from db adapter and I will send this input to a webservice which invokes further activities , my question is if any issue comes in between the process, i want to store that error message in to db adapter field ( for example error field) can you guys throw some light, I mean step by step process.

Stop error message on LOV during page refresh

I have a date field on my apex page with validation. A user enters an invalid date and clicks a button to populate a couple LOV's. The source of the LOV's are dependent on the value of the Date field. If the Date field is invalid, my validations fires and displays the error message, which is great. Problem is that my two LOV's throw errors because of the invalid Date. Is there a way to stop the LOV's from running the source or to supress the errors from the users?

This is a alternative way.
01. Add a another item to act like a flag. Default SET to FALSE
02. In LOV pupulate processes use "Condition" to stop execute at the time when date is wrong
03. In the date validation if date is correct then set above 01 flag to true

If it does not help, I'd suggest raising a message to OSS, as it is not evident to analyse this error on remote.

Error Message of - APERB023 during Revaluation of Fixed Assets- AR29N

Hello Experts
I would like to carry the revalution of fixed assets for certains assets w.e.f. 01.04.2011 (our financial year is April to March).
Last Depreciation Run we did is March'2011
Our Fiscal year variant is April'2011 to March'2012
We are carrying the revaluation run through T.Code AR29N under "New Valuation of an Asset".
We have choosen the apporpriate Transaction Type and choosen "with depreciation written back" option.
Also, we have choosen the revaluation area " from start of fiscal year - 01.04.2011"
While exeuction of AR29N, we are getting the following error
Revaluation data does not agree with date of depreciation posting
Message no. APERB023
Diagnosis
You want to execute the revaluation posting in period 001/2011. This requires that this period was the last period posted by the depreciation posting run. No other period may be posted after that. The posting run for this period is also not allowed to be still outstanding. According to the log table, the last run posted was 012/2010.
System Response
Posting is not possible.
Procedure
Correct the revaluation date
Is it necessary to carry the April'2011 deprecaition run, if we wish to carry the revaluation run for the month of Apr'2011

SAP system is demanding, the Depreciation Run (AFAB) for the month of Apr'2011 before carring the revalution (T.Code AR29N) with posting date as 01.04.2011
However i am being unable to find any SAP documentation / FAQ's, where the pre-requisites of AR29N.
Kindly share your experience, if any configurations points, that i need to check in order to avoid the error.

Hi Kamila,
the error points to a field overfllow during currency conversion.
You should check your exchange rates used between the local currencies and the new currencies to be used in ML.
You can also check using in CKM9. There is a section on exchange rates.

Error Message in Saving during 'Packaging'

I am trying to package an In Design file (about 250MB) that contains a few hundred images and Illustrator files. I have no issues when doing the pre-flight, ie no problem with links, fonts, etc. But after 4-5 minutes of trying package there is a simple error window that appears indicating 'unable to save required linked files' (or something similar). Any ideas what this might be? and/or how to locate these darn beasts that are giving me issues?

actually doing something during those 4-5 minutes, or is it timing out
after waiting 4-5 minutes?

WINDOWS ADOBE X i get Error message 523;523 during download, then grey screen

I try and download a PDF file and during process I get message "There is a problem with Adobe reader. If running, please exit and try again. (523;523)" I shut down computer and restart and still get same message?? Anyone know how I can resolve.Thanks

This problem usually occurs due to differences in tax amount
The source document was posted in a previous period.After this, the tax rate was changed (this is allowed in countries with tax jurisdiction code).The reversal document should be posted in the current period.When canceling the source document, the tax is calculated on account of the entered posting date and differs from the original tax amount.
If the posting period of the source document is opened:
-   Post the reversal document with posting date of the source document.
If the posting period of the source document is closed:
- Open this posting period and post the reversal document with the posting date of the source document. If you do no   longer   want to open the previous period, you can only post   a credit memo in this case.However, a different tax amount is calculated here if, as described above, the tax rates have been changed in the meantime.
