When opening Acrobat Pro 8.2.1 the following error message pops up
" A serious error has been detected and Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro cannot continue"
"Please reinstall the application and try again"
Where to I go from here? Tech support kept me on hold for 40 min - spoke to two people who took my info and email put me on hold and finally disconected me. Adobe customer support is a shameful excuse for assistance - thier website is only a few steps behind that.

Have you tried resetting the Preferences (pressing cmd-alt-shift at starting until the appropriate dialog appears)?

When loading the program, the loading, circular icon will not stop. It seems like it is trying to load and can't. Since Adobe tech support won't help with version 13, I need your help.

I just bought this and was trying to load it for the first time and the circular icon just keeps flashing like it is trying to load and can't. Most elements come up but I am wondering why it is still flashing like it is trying to load.
At times, the drop down menus will not stay up. When I click on them, they flash and then disappear.
This is not a blank message.

They won't help me with an issue involving using the program, but their site seems to indicate that tech support is available for download, install, & setup. The problem is; when I past copied text from some pdf books (not all of them) it past symbols only! wherever I past it! and even if I coped that text from another pdf reader (adobe pdf reader, internet browsers, ...etc.).
This problem started to happen since yesterday when I installed adobe acrobat reader XI pro to try it before I buy it, and before that when I was using the free adobe pdf reader I was totally able to copy any text from any pdf and past it anywhere with nothing wrong.
What can I do?

I want to update my daughters intel from Tiger to Snow Leopard for her to make her life (and mine) easier.
When I try install the OS, I keep getting an error message that OSX can't be installed on this Mac.

Haveing problems with Safari. It gives me an error message. Safari can't open the web page, because it can't establish a secure connection to the server. It only seams to have a problem on https sites. Any help would be apreciated.

The "s" in "https" indicates the site is a secure server--usually a site that will require a password. Connections to secure servers can be blocked by parental controls. Are you using any parental controls, either through OSX's settings (in System Preferences) or third party parental control software (such as Netnanny)? If so, check the settings to make sure they will allow the connection.

I tracked down the problem with the download and installation, my windows 7 was missing a file and after reinstalling windows everything worked out. The first 32 bit program in their list was used. I hope this can help others.

I suppose I should have prefaced my question with the concern that I've read a number of other posts from people who have had a similar issue and when they tried to follow the directions, they ran into a multitude of other problems. You can only have one active iCloud account and one iTunes account. Are you by chance refering to email accounts defined in the mail app? If so, if one of the accounts (a non-iCloud account) is a POP account, then an email is usually sent to one device. Once sent, the email is deleted from the server, thus other devices never get copies. That's how POP works.

Open the Disk Utility in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder, click on it in the sidebar, select the Erase tab, and reformat it.
