Error message in middle of sync
I keep getting error messages"ipod cannot be synced. The disk could not read from or written to" and "attempting to cop to the disk ipod failed. The device is not connected. I have a new touch 16G, using windows xp. Need help!
I still cannot sync (movies & Videos and some music) and now the music and the album covers don't match up. I have tried everything! It's like my computer (and itunes) don't know the iPod is there. This is my 2nd iPod, I traded the older one for the new touch. I'm very dissiponted. How can I get the iPod to work? Is it something with my computer?

I get error message iTunes could not sync calendars to iPhone because an error occurred while merging data on my wifes phone how do you correct problem without losing calendars info on phone.
One thing that might help.
1. open itunes preferences from the edit menu and click on the devices tab.
2. check the box to disable syncing for iphones connected to itunes and click ok.
3. Then click the button to reset sync history.
4. Now click ok to close the preferences window.
5. connect the iphone to itunes and go to the info tab.
6. scroll to the bottom of the info page and check the box to replace the ical data on the iphone.
7. then click apply on the bottom right of itunes.
This will overwrite any events on the iphone, including any events that has become corrupted.

Why do I get an error message when trying to sync my ipads with my imac
We have two ipads - version 2 I think - the last ones with the old style plug. Both are running IOS 7.1.1 Over the last week, every time I try to sync either ipad with my imac (27" - about 18 months old) which is running OSX 10.9.2 I get the following error message. "The Ipad cannot be synced. An unknown error has occurred (1723)" In every case it takes a while for the error message to appear - the sync gives every impression of rolling along just fine through the various steps - when it reaches step 5 of 6 (syncing photos) it seems to hang up, then after a while the error message shows up.
Interestingly, there are no photos on the ipad, so nothing to sync to the imac, but I discovered all of this when I tried to sync some photos in the other direction, from iphoto to one of the ipads. All I got was the pin wheel of death. I am running the most current version of iphoto too.
Any suggestions on how to fix this would be gratefully accepted.Can you create a test Project in PrE 9 and does that work. If so, close that Project and then Open it again in PrE 9.
It could be as simple as your PrE 8 Projects just not Opening in PrE 9. There is often forward compatibility, but not always. It is usually best to finish Projects in the version, in which they were started.

Restart your computer and the iPhone. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo. It is safe to do, there should be no content loss. It is the same as rebooting your computer.

I'm receiving the following error message when trying to sync my calendars only: "Invalid response received from .mac. Could not complete syncronization. Please try again later." I have no problem syncing Mail, Bookmarks, etc...

IPod error message when trying to sync contacts

When I try syncing my iPod Touch, it comes up with the error message: "iTunes could not sync contacts to the iPod because the iPod disconnected." When I turn off contact syncing, the sync works just fine, but then all of my contacts remain out-of-date. Has anybody else encountered/solved this problem?Yes, I had the exact same problem. I called technical support and they could not help me. But I solved it independently, while on the phone with support .... they didn't know why this worked - go figure!
sorry - I'm not on that computer at the moment, so I don't have the exact lingo but here goes:
I have multiple categories in my address book. For some reason when I specified to sync only those that were checked (as opposed to the whole group) I checked each and every category in my address book. This sync worked like a charm.

In the last few days when I start my computer, I get a box that opens with "AppleSyncNotifier.exe" Entry Point Not Found in the title.
It says: "The procedure entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library SQlite3.dll.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes and still get an error message when trying to sync my phone with iTunes
"iTunes could not back up iPhone ####, because a session could not be started with the iPhone."
The last time I tried to sync my phone (iPhone 3G S) with iTunes, everything seemed to freeze up at Stage 4 of the sync process.
Any advice????With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Reboot and see if all is well
In case that your OS is Windows 7 (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Open new windows explorer, to to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Paste file "SQLite3.dll" to the location.
5. Reboot your computer, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

I seem to get error messages when I try to sync with itunes. I have the iphone 3G. Also all my music and videos seem to have carried across, all except one, it's very odd. Latest error message reads:
"itunes could not connect with the itunes store. An unknown error occurred (11556)."
I have also an error message saying it cannot sync and error message number 0050.

This error is associated with ringtones, are you trying to sync a ringtone, purchase a ringtone...need more info...

I haven't been able to sync my workouts for the past few weeks. I have an iPhone4 and have always synced directly from my phone to Nike+. But over the last few weeks, when I try, I get the following error message:
"Nike+iPold cannot sync workouts because Nike+ service is unvailable"
I've made sure my phone is up to date software-wise, and even tried connecting it to my iTunes. The Nike+ app doesn't even show up in my iTunes.
Any suggestions? I'm missing out on tons of workouts and really don't know what to do....Kind of hard to answer without some details such as iPhoto version and OS version. Are you signed into your Facebook account?

I downloaded the icloud software on my computer in order to sync calenders and contacts using Windows 2007, but I keep getting an error message when trying to sync my icloud and Outlook calendars. I downloaded it for the first time a month ago and had it working but it stopped syncing, so I deinstalled the iCloud software and reinstalled, but keep getting the error message "Your setup couldn't be started because of an unexpected error. i get an error message when trying to sync my reset ipod "The iPod ...cannot be synced. A duplicate file name was specified."
Locate the photos folder which is selected for syncing with the device and delete the folder iPod Photo Cache inside.
