Error message in MR11

Hi Gurus,
I am having trouble with a specific purchase order on the MR11 transaction. I was able to post/clear/remove other purchase orders variances but this one gives me a warning/error message Perform the planned price change for material. Please advice how can I resolve this?

If you are using an account assigned PO then possibly the order(PM order, internal order etc) to which your PO refers might have status as CLSD.
Check and reverse the status.

MR11 - Error Message C+171

Iam trying MR11 and getting following Error message. Material Ledger is active in our system.
Any idea what could be the reason..

Note - XX...   = PO number.

If you have material ledger active and setup a plant with out running CKMSTART, MR11 will read table CKMLV " Material Ledger Control Record " table and not find an entry for that plant.
Since text base PO does not have a material, it was not bothered by the material ledger during GR.    With MR11 it found the material ledger was active (even though it was a text base PO) but missing the plant. It then gets sy-subrc exception condition and returns the C+171 currency error.
If you have Material ledger active run ckmstart in test mode and see if it is setup first, if not run it and the error message should go away.
( Note:material ledger can not be deactivated once turned on and can really change how MM records are processed.   Please refer to OSS notes on the subject ). If material ledger is not active << STAY AWAY FROM IT >>, then you need to look elsewhere.

MR11 Error message

I am running MR11 and the system is giving the following error message
No data selected. Check selection parameters!!
In selection criteria I used the following fields:
CO. Code: USXX
Posting Date: 11/14/2008
Purchase Document : 10018428
Purchase Order Date: 05/28/2006 - This is the old P.O.
I check mark the following
Delivery Surplus
Invoice Surplus
GR/IR Clearing account
Delivery Cost Account
ERS Purchase Order
and I choose Prepare list.
Also When I run the TCode MB5S, there is no data in there
Can anyone help me what could be the problem would be?

Thanks for your reply, First, this PO does not require to receive Goods. Second The GRIR aging report shows the Balance under IR only. and there is no balance on P.O.
my question is why it is showing in GRIR aging report. My best glue is most likely the account assignment in the P.O. is incorrect>

MR11- System error message

Hi Friends,
I am trying clear documents in MR11. But it is giving error message saying Maintained Account determination for postomg key FRX.(Table T030B).
There are two purchase orders with same quantity, price and vendor
One PO cleared without any issue.
The other one is not. I observed that in MIGO, there is a seperate line item for freight with amount. This is the reason it is not getting cleared. Why it has cleared seperate line item. How to clear the PO in MR11 now?

Hi Suresh,
You will just need to maintain account assignment for FRX key. System is validating for FRX as freight is posted, and flashing error as it can not find account assignment for the same.

We also have the issue on posting an invoice "default qty & value 0" in MIRO, receiving error M8278 "You are not allowed to have zero lines".
However, so far we are not able to correct this eg do not know how to continue to clear the GR/IR

please note that the error message M8 278 is only issued if there is
zero amount in ALL document lines.
This means that you can post MM-documents with zero lines. But only if
there are other lines with amount > 0. The reason for this system
behaviour is, that every time a MM-Invoice is posted, an FI-Document is
created. In FI-Documents it isn't allowed to have zero lines.
So if you have an MM-Document with only zero lines, the Fi-document
can't be created and the error message is issued.

Error while doing MR11 as enter Profitability segmet as Cost object

Hi All,
While doing MR11, we noticed a error message (ZC - 001) as "Enter Profitability segment as Cost object for Revenue and COGS posting".
The specified Material account is created as Cost element (CE Category 11) and in OKB9 configuration this cost element is choosed (ticked) with the option "profitability segment". Also there is no substitution rule to derive profitability segment in OBBH substitutions.
However there is a validation (GGB0), where the above specified Material account is included in the range of accounts in the Prerequisite, and Check as "Profitability segment is > (greater than) 0000000001 and with the message maintained as "Enter Profitability segment as Cost object for Revenue and COGS posting".
Can any please help why this error has come at the earliest.

I hope the note 184987 is not applicable in our case as the Field status of specified Material account does not have required entry for Profitability segment.
Can you please let me know if we have entry in OKB9 and existance of entry in Validation creates the problem and throws the above error message?
With regard to other note 134484 which you have specified on "error in Account assignment check in MM transactions" says "A detailed default account assignment (for example profitability segment) was defined in Transaction OKB9. However, the profitability segment is not set up correctly for goods movements: the characteristics material, plant, business area are missing. A later check of the profitability segments against material, plant and business area then generates an error message since the profitability segment is inconsistent".
Is there any way to confirm whether this situation is leading to our error before implementing this note.

Error while doing MR11 reversal

Have an issue in MR11 reversal,
The details as follows,
1. PO quantity 1 EA
2.IR done fiirst for 0.250 EA
3.GR done for 1 EA
4.User did MR11 to clear GR/IR learing value
5.after MR11,user cancelled IR & GR
6 Now he is trying to do MR11 reversal and system gave error message as shown below,
Performance Assistant:
Purchase order history already inconsistent --> Quantity 0.750- EA Value 49.95 CAD
Message no. CKMLGRIR025
Diagnosis:
The purchase order history contains differences between the goods receipts and invoice receipts/Account maintenance for the order item in fields Difference Quantity (= 0.750- EA) and Difference value (= 49.95 CAD).
The purchase order history for this item is inconsistent.
is ther any way to solve this issue.

FYI.I got reply from SAP,the correct way is the Account Maintenace should be reversed first, thenfollowed by GR and lastly the IR posting.But user has done GR IR reversal before MR11SHOW.
We have to implement report ZM_CHECK_EKBE_AREWR from note 372246 for this issue.

ABAP error on posting MR11 entries

Hi,
Tried posting entires in MR11. On pressing icon post clearing gets error message program termination & ABAP error. ABAP error analysis " DIAG1 = MR11 1000 01 02"
Could any one advise what could be reason foir error & how to resolve it

if an ABAP terminates then it creates a huge log that can be analyzed via ST22.
even it is huge, the most important info is at the first 5 pages.
It is usually not a user error when a program terminates. Ask an ABAPer to analyze the dump.

Windows Vista: Ipod Error Message, no longer read by PCs

Hello,
I have a 5th generation black ipod video with 30GB of memory.
The other day I hooked it up to my laptop (Toshiba, 4 months old) that it's been functioning on with no problems whatsoever. This weird error message flashed twice about it not being able to sync because of some software problem.
Eversince then, the only thing I can charge my ipod on is the family treadmill in the basement (~_~) as no other computer in the house recognizes it. I can't even charge it through the wall sockets, either.
I have changed the ipod cord, still no luck. I've also reset the device about 3 or 4 times and uninstalled, restarted the laptop then reinstalled itunes. I would like to reset it back to factory settings but that's impossible as computers/laptops don't pick it up. I live very far from a Mac store...
What's a girl to do? I can't live without my Busta Rhymes and Wu-Tang Clan!

Error message into a Variable.

I have a rather usual (unusual from the weekend beers for me though!!) query which I can't figure out a proper way to implement.
My requirement is like this:
I have a message class in which I want to define a text 'Employee number & not found'.
I want to use this in the program, but not to raise this error. Instead, I want to move this error message with the Employee number into a Character(200) variable.
So instead of using MESSAGE e0xx(messageclass) USING employee number, I would like to move the error text into a variable which looks like:
lv_text = e0xx(messageclass) USING '1234' which stores the text 'Employee number 1234 not found' in lv_text.
How would I acheive it??

IPod seen by windows, not by iTunes+ weird error message

I have a first generation 2GB iPod nano and i use windows xp. I can't load any music because iTunes doesn't see my iPod and an error message pops up that reads like this: "iTunes: iTunes.exe corrupt file. The file or directory \iPod_Control\iTunes is corrupt and unredable. Please run the checkdisk utility." I've tried everything, reinstalling iTunes, different versions, reinstalling OS, resetting iPod, even on another computer, same problem. Other than that, the iPod works normally, it's just lacking music..
and why is there no email adress from apple for service qustions? 10x

I still don't get it, how can I put it in disk mode if I CANNOT see the iPod in iTunes..?

Error message iPod cannot update b/c all of the playlists no longer exist

Hello. I have been getting this error message. "Songs on the iPod "MAR(the name of my iPod)" cannot update because all of the playlists selecting for updating no longer exist." And my playlists are still on the left side in my iTunes. They do exist. I have a feeling ths might have to do with the fact that on vacation the person I was visiting gave me a gift of putting all of his music that would fit into the external hard drive part of my iPod, and for the past week or so I have been putting that music onto my 40 GB portable hard drive at home. I suspect I took a vital folder out of my iPod by accident. Right now I have the folder iPod_control if I open my iPod up in My Computer. Am I missing something? Right now my iPod is empty because iTunes made a composite playlist last week and I deleted it thinking I could get my real playlists back. Can you help me, or reccomend a site/someone who can? Thank you.

And my playlists are still on the left side in my iTunes. They do exist.
let's just doublecheck this. folks get this message if they have "automatically update selected playlists only" selected in their itunes "ipod" preferences tab. so bring up that tab ("edit > preferences", click "ipod" while the ipod is showing up in the source list), and do a playlist by playlist crosscheck of the playlists selected in that tab, and the playlists showing up in the itunes sourcelist.
is there any playlist selected in the preferences tab that isn't showing up in the sourcelist?

Windows Blue Screen Error Message Appears As Soon As IPod Connected

Everytime I connect my IPod to my computer, I get the Windows Blue Screen error message. Thought it was the cable, so plugged cable in by itself. No problem. Uninstalled IPod and ITunes software and then plugged in IPod, still got the Blue Screen. The Blue Screen says something about "recent plugged in device problem". It is not the cable, it must be the IPod. Did not have this problem when I bought it. Tried it on labtop and get the same error message. I can't do updater or anything that requires me to plug the IPod into a computer because the Blue Screen appears immediately. When I unplug, the Blue Screen remains and locks up the computer so I have to restart each time. I have tried everything I can think of. Please help.

I am not able to start the computer in safe mode, safe mode with networking, last good known configuration etc, Each time it quickly blue screens and restarts about two secs into the process.
I was unable to try a clean OS install from the disk as it gave the blue screen error shown in the original post. The same thing happened when I tried to use the repair option on the XP home disc. So i can't get into the computer at all to start diagnosing the fault, the only clue I have is the error message, and after searching the internet I haven't found much enlightenment from that yet.
If you can help me out or suggest where to search it would be much appreciated.

IPod Error Message: "The disk could not be read from or written to."

Hello!
I was syncing my sister's video iPod (30GB) and this error message pops up "Attempting to copy to the disk. "SARAH'S IPO" failed. The disk could not be read from or written to."
I have restored it three times already, but once it starts putting the music and files back onto the iPod it pops up with that error message. I have updated to the latest version of iTunes and iPod software available. My OS is Windows XP.
Is this something serious? Will I be able to fix it myself or will I need to send it in to be fixed by Apple? Will that be expensive? We didn’t get the Apple replacement plan. D=

PowerBook G4 Mac OS X (10.4.3) 15" PowerBook 1.5 GHz PowerPC G4, 1.5GB RAM - Windows XP with iPod 5 Generation

Okay I went thru that entire list and here's what I got...
(1) My OS is XP and is running fine.
(2) I've updated my windows
(3) I don't know of any software that might be interfering.
(4) There are no damaged files.
(5) My Windows hard-drive is not damaged and I've tried restoring my iPod's disk thru iTunes but it still doesn't work.
(6) I don't have an iPod photo and I can't find the folder to delete the cache if if I did.
(7) The USB cord is firmly connected into my USB port and my iPod
(8) My music is on my external hard-drive so I need to keep 3rd-party hardware connected
(9) I will try another USB cord to see if that works.
Is there anything else that I can do? Can Apple fix this?
Please let me know.
