Hi All,
i have a query with few variables , i used navigational attributes of 0material......
I am getting the below Warning Message... Ineed to supress the below Error Message....
Please let me know the solution...

Diagnosis
Currently, it cannot be guaranteed that SIDs and master data exists for all characteristic attributes for the DataStore object to be read.
There is a restriction on a navigation attribute of the listed characteristic in the query. This filters all characteristic values of the master-data bearing characteristic for which there is not yet master data out of the result.
For performance reasons, this filtering is unavoidable.

In case of doubt, find other restirctions directly on the characteristic values of the characteristics contained in the DataStore object.

we've solved this problem and this is the solution:
The warning is triggered by the method CL_RSDRV_ODS_QUERY-PROCESS_SFC_WITH_ATR when the BExFlag of the InfoProvider is not set. Using DSOs for direct update there is no change to change the BExFlag. As a result queries based on a DSO for direct update always throw the above mentioned warning when filter-characteristics are attributes.

I've a problem while executing a query (this query is based on a MultiProvider).
I got the message "Filter on attribute of 0MATERIAL filters charac. values without master data" and I don't know why.
When I don't use the filter on the navigation attribute, the query can be executed without any errors, bute when I set the filter, the warning message comes again.

Setup Error message in Query Designer

Hi all,
I have built a BW IP query with an aggregate as infoprovidor. In order to make the query plannable I have to use all KF and Characteristic and set the correct filtervalues. I have executed this specific query many times in order to check if all rows/columns are filled ok and are plannable but the last time I executed the query the following error message popped up :
"Setup Error Failed to load resources from resource file. Please check your setup"
When I click OK the Query Designer shuts down. When I then start the Query Designer again and want to select my query the same error message appears so I cannot access my query anymore.
I am going to built a new one but like to know the probable cause of this error message as my query was consistent for sure.

Error message making changes to BP :ATTRIBUTE INDUSTRY CODE 1 NOT VALID

when changing a business partner in MSA I get an error message :
ATTRIBUTE INDUSTRY CODE 1 NOT VALID FOR BUSINESS PARTNER
Does anybody know what is causing this , the industry code has been set correctly in the customizing.
We are working on CRM 5.0 SP08

Error Message on query of the cube 0PUR_C01

Hi Gurus,
I am executing the standard query 0PUR_C01_Q0004 on cube 0PUR_C01 (Purchasing).
For some results lines I see the following message "No calc possible" on key figures values. Has anybody seen this error before??

Query Filter on attribute

Hi,
I am designing the BEx Query that requires the data to be filtered based on the attribute value of an infoobject - both are available in the BEx Query.
However when I apply the Filter on the same infoobject in the BEx Query, it does not return me any data as result.
Can you please let me know if there is a better way to filter Query Results based on attribute of a characteristic.

Goto RSD1 > Infoobject Maintainence > Key in your Infoobject name & check the /BIC/M* table. Find all entries applicable for restriction. Make sure all the existing entries are same as that is visible at Info provider level. In BEx, if you are sure you are not going to make changes to query frequently, use Filters at Query level. Include all relevant entries you find applicable for your Characteristic Info object. As suggested in previous posts you need a Navigational Attribute for your Info object; if you want to capture Attribute data. Else, if you wish to create a filter at run time, use an input enabled Variable, which can capture Multiple Entries.

Virtual Character in Bex Query / Filter by Attribute

We have a query where we need to resrict the query result by a character at run time. I think this is done by using virtuual characters with user exit RSR00002...Here is our requirement. We have the PCA query with Cost element heirarchy (Revenues & Expenses as nodes and several other sub nodes available) as the report out put and when we drill down by cost center user wants to see the result of blank cost centers only for Revnues but not for Expenses.
If this scenerio is not possible by virtual characters, I have a display attribute in Cost element where Revenues always have type 11 and Expenses have 1. So I need to exclude the cost center blanks for cost element type 1....But I'm not sure how to achieve this. Can any one advice if this is better to do in Info cube level / Bex query level...

Error message: "Querying or saving changes to the database failed."

Hi all,
I can sense I'm becoming a regular on this particular forum - the problem of spending 8 hours a day trying to get this software working!
_*The problem*_
When i try and setup a new device, or modify an existing one, I get an error message when i get to the Transcode Settings page. The error message is "Querying or saving changes to the database failed." After this I get a blank screen and can no longer see my settings.
No amount of restarting has fixed this. And I cannot see a way to create a device through the client software and add transcode settings.

Ah very good!
Ok - it seems then that this works absolutely fine as a work around. I can create a device and then assign the device to transcode settings through the client adminsitration panel (which is indeed what I meant).
So, there is a work around. Far less pressing now, but I would like to know why I'm getting the error message all the same - I'm now concerned about the integrity of the database...

After mavericks update, HP print error message = 'filter' failed.

Since I updated my MacBook Pro to OSX 10.9, I can no longer print on my HP Deskjet 1220C. I get an error message that says "filter failed". This printer is about 10 years old, but it's a goodie. It worked fine when I was using OSX lion. My roommate is still using OSX lion, and can print on the 1220C just fine.
I tried reinstalling the drivers found at < http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US >, but got the same error message when I tried to print.
Is there a raster filter file I could copy from the old operating system to solve this issue? Any suggestions?

I went to PCHelpStation, an online company that will remotely fix computer problems. Last week, that got the printer to work. Then two days ago, I realized that the “generic” printer driver only prints in black. Yesterday and today. the company spent hours and finally that company gave up. After seeking all kinds of work-arounds, nothing will change. Now, I am in a email war with Hewlett Packard. My 1220c printer is excellent. I do not want to buy another and I believe that HP should support every computer. The fact that HP has excellent long lasting products is all the more reason for that company to continue to support the 1220c printer. In one the emails, the VP of HP offered me a coupon for 20 dollars off paper and toner and a printer recommendation to buy a new one. I am not taking the coupon nor buying a new printer. I want a DRIVER for my printer!

ABAP query issue when logoff error message query not created

Hi All ,
I created a ABAP query using SQ01 . I saved it and i'm able to see the output . But , if i logoff from the system and relogin again to system and trying to execute the query , it is showing an error message
" The query has not been created " Please help me , is there any settings change or i have to do any thing else ?

Error while copy query between infocubes

I was trying to copy a query between infocubes and ended with error message.
Query copied from Infocube A to Infocube B. Infocube B has an additional dimension with 2 char's when compared to infocube A.
Using transaction RSZC, I tried to copy the query, but ended up with following error..
1.Program error in class COPY_QRY_TO_CUBE method : UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
2.An exception with the type CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause
3.The system tried to insert a data record, even though a data record with the same primary key already exists
I also tried using function module RSZ_I_COPY_QRY_TO_CUBE, which was of no help. I get the following message with the function module...
1. Program error in class RS_TESTFRAME_CALL method : UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
2. An exception with the type CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause
3. The system tried to insert a data record, even though a data record with the same primary key already exists
I have also tried a solution in BW expert by using debugging mode of the above function module, again this was of no help..
I am BI 7.0 SP09...

Are you trying to copy Business Content delivered Queries?
I had also got this error when copying over all queries from one cube to another. Reason for this message was plain simple - I did not realise that the sender Cube had Business Content Query which we cannot copy over using RSZC as system tries to create another query with suffix as 0****_1. We cannot create query in SAP user namespace. Error message is different then the reason behind it.

Internal Essbase JAPI Error (Report error when executing query)

Hi all,
I have a report that queries against an Essbase Reporting Cube. The reports prompt a JAPI error message when querying a parent level member that exceeds 256 members. The error displayed says that the number of columns on the report exceeds the allowed maximum of 256. Has someone experienced a similar error or know of a setting that can be set to allow the excess. Your feedback is appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for the feedback provided. In the report I am using the Descendants function and on the member of this function I am selecting a prompt. Does your statement applies to this function as well? The odd thing on this issue is that the same report works fine in my old version 11.1.1.3, but not in 11.1.2.1. Any ideas? Thanks!

Confused by Error Message

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to SAP Business One and the SDK. My company are developing an integration system between SAP B1 and Lotus Notes and I'm attempting to use the DI SDK. I have set up SAP B1 on my local system but when running the OrderAndInvoice sample with the demo database (SBODemoUS) and adding an order I get the error message "The value of the attribute '' of the tax parameter 'State-CA' is missing". This has an error number of 10. I have to say this has me completely at a loss.
I get the same message if I use straight VB and COM and try to run the add example in the DOcuments section of the SDK help file. I'm running SAP B1 2007.
Can anyone help or provide some insight as to why this may be happening?

Many thanks for your reply. Actually I can't even get this far with the SAP Business One client. When I go in as manager and try to open, for instance, an A/R Invoice I get a red line at the bottom of the screen saying "You are not licensed to open form [133] Invoice".
Unfortunately I am completely new to SAP and not a financial person (as my bank will confirm ) so I am, to say the least completely stumped. As far as I know we have a valid license so I don't know what we are doing wrong.

You can hide error message in query browser connection window. but you cannot be specific to the error message to hide. Check the error message and solve it. If possible post the error message in the community.

BW Web Query Error Message

We execute our queries through web templates. My client executes a CO-PA operating concern query through the web browser for a years worth of data and after results are returned, then proceed to drill down on material and another drill down on customer. After 15 minutes or more the following message is displayed An error has occurred during loading. Please look in the upper frame for further information.
Client also gets the same message after letting a query set idle for some time and then later try to resume action on it, such as drill down or filter.
We have tried the suggested solution in SAP note 924176 for the &SNIPPET_OPERATIONS=.
We have almost 20 active aggregates setup for the CO-PA operating Concern cube assigned to the query.
Also, we have upgraded the SAP kernel to the latest version:
icm/server_port_2 PROT=SMTP , PORT=8857 , TIMEOUT=900
icm/server_port_1 PROT=HTTPS , PORT=8856 , TIMEOUT=900
icm/server_port_0 PROT=HTTP , PORT=8855 , TIMEOUT=900
icm/keep_alive_timeout is set to 60 and always has been on our servers.
These all check out with what SAP recommends.
Does anyone have any other suggestions that we can try?
Also, does anyone know where this error message is produced from? Is it from SAP, BW or Microsoft Explorer? Can this message be modified to better explain to the user why the timeout occurred, i.e. too much data?
We realize that this is a huge amount of data being returned due to the drill down. The client would like for us to continue to try and resolve this issue. This error message is not very user friendly and tends to be confusing for our client. If we cannot resolve the error, we would at the very least like to change the error message to be more meaningful.

Dear Eric,
do you have a Proxy Server you work with, if you deactivate it for your BW domain. Proxy Server normally have timeouts from 5 till 15 minutes - but sometimes its to less for BW Queries.
Another reason is the 2 GB limitation of Processec, look in Transaction ST22 (Dump Analysis) and search for Dumps on a day the error occurs.
IF there are dumps including 'ROLL_MEMORY' or 'TABLE_SIZE' ..., it is the 2 GB limitation - this happens often with larger data, is it possible to reduce the data by mandatory varibales or something else, if this is not practible. Contact your BASIS, there are some system parameters to optimize it - but only a bit.
We have to wait for 64 bit systems...
Search SAP Notes for the Dump Text and you will get further help on it.
