I am trying to load the data from database system oracle ,the data was successfully loaded into psa , but cant able to load the data into ods from psa .
Data in psa is all green without any errors , as info idocs are missing its not letting to load data manually from psa to ods ,
I try to reload but coming up with same error
Next day problem was fixed automatically, I want to know what is the exact reason for this problem and how can next day it fixed automatically

No IDocs created; Database system

Hi,
While loading ODS from a DBConnect,the load has failed giving following error.
No IDocs created; Database system
Diagnosis
No IDocs were created. The IDocs are created in BW with database systems as source systems. Since no IDocs were created, a short dump in BW probably occurred.
I checked ,there was no short dump in BW.We have got this error many times.Everytime when we delele the bad request and repeat the failed IP, the load completes successfully.
I am not able to find out the reason behind this failure.
Can anybody help me out?

Did you get any response to this, i too have had this twice and have had to kick off the loads manually. The only clue are two entries in sm21, where there was a 'database error 1034 at CON', which is a connection problem to oracle. So DB Connect failed to connect to the oracle database.
Have you spoken to your basis team? Try find out if the DB you were connecting to had some problems at the point in time where your first initial process was accessing, that should answer your question.

I am loading hierarchy data using Info pac into 0FUNDS_CTR . I have selected a hierarchy under hierarchy selections tab in the Info pac .
All Partner profiles in WE20 seems OK . But When I loaded data , throwing errrr message as below

How you resolve the errors depends on the error message you get.
When I checked in TC WE05 says that IDoc: 0000000000355113 Status: Error during syntax check of IDoc (outbound) with status 26 .

Actually we will monitor idoc status in BD87 in SAP BI As well ECC , while extracting the data from source sytem if any idoc struck we will manually process in BD87 , But you are telling that while loading the datasource the error occurred , so please check once in ECC side . Otherwise see how many packets are still process, make it red that infopackage and do manually update.

I am getting below error.

Our solution uses ADG and OGG
We have source and target where ADG was setup . We later broke ADG setup and made Oracle DB's in source and target into standalone.
As part of our solution during our deployment window ,we would break ADG i.e we would make both the source and target as independent DB’s with PRIMARY Read /Write mode.
-Take Guaranteed restore point on Source DB so that we can flash back at later stage(so of now we have not executed flash back command)
-Once ADG config is disabled we will start the OGG extract which is already configured before =We are at this stage where we are hit with errors and extract is not starting .

The error shows it is waiting for the Logfile. The Integrated extract mainly needs of the availability of two things.
1. Archivelogs.
2. Trail Files.
Both should be retained to the needed / required level.
Please execute the below query and check the status of the Extract / Capture process.

We did a recent copy from QAS to DEV,after which am unable to run my process chains ,the load status still showin yellow signal,whereas job is getting finished but am unable to load datas to the targets. Am getting the following error message when i see the display message in process chain.

Hello All,
I have same problem but its RESOLVED by the following process.
Step - 1
execute the Function module "SCP_LANGUAGES_IN_INSTANCE". It may or maynot give some output. Just note if it give the output
Step - 2
in Transaction SE38 execute the program "RSCPINST".
Just Click on the Activate button (dont select anything).
Step - 3
Again do the same thing specified in Step - 1. Now it will give the output saying that Language is DE.
So by the above procedure my issue is been resolved.

When I try to install iTunes on my Windows computer I get an error message, "Apple Mobile Device failed to start". After an incomplete installation when I try to open iTunes I get an error message, "MSVCR80.dll missing". I downloaded MSVCR80.dll.

When i was loading the data from SAP R/3 to BW, i was facing the error "Error when updating Idocs in Source System" (0 From 0 Records).
When i check in the Environment>Transaction RFC->In the Source System, it was displaying the error--
" Import container contains errors (are any obligato) in the Function Module: IDOC_ERROR_WORKFLOW_START_R".

The workflow settings are not proper it seems. Ask the BASIS people to correct the Work Flow Settings. Then try Updating the IDOCs manually.
Also check the Inbound and outbound IDOCs in the Source system. The outbound should contain some warnings or errors.

Hi, we're trying to study Workflow based on the manuals we downloaded online. Upon saving, we encountered the error: Error: Prefix number: entry missing for system REP client 113 Msg no 5W023.
Here's the diagnosis:
Diagnosis
Tasks, rules, and workflow definitions require an ID that is unique throughout all systems and clients. In this way, you can ensure that you can transport these objects from one system into another at any time (without restrictions). From a technical point of view, the uniqueness of the ID is ensured by what is known as a "prefix number". You can define a separate prefix number for every system and every client in table T78NR.
System Response
If a prefix number is not defined in the client in which you are currently working, it is not possible to maintain (maintenance terminates).
Procedure
Maintain table T78NR in Customizing, and create an entry for the system in question and the current client.

Please check if the Prefix number is maintained in SWU3 t-code.
Go to Maintain Definition Environment -> Maintain Prefix Numbers and check if the prefix number is maintained.

You are correct, the On-Error trigger is a Forms trigger. However, if your Form is going to display the error generated by the database stored procedure or trigger - you might not see the database error in your Form unless you check the DBMS_ERROR_CODE in the On-Error trigger and manually display the Error Code and associated Text. I've see this happen with a co-worker. The Form she was working on was based on a table with an Before-Insert trigger. Because she was not explicitely handling the error from the Before-Insert trigger in the Forms On-Error trigger, her Form appeared to halt for no reason at all. Once she added code to the On-Error trigger in the Form to handle the DBMS_ERROR_CODE, she discovered the trigger was producing an error and was able to show the error to the user in the On-Error trigger.
I understand the desire to keep as much as possbile in the database, but with that comes some extra coding in your Forms to handle this. This extra coding could easily be placed in a Forms Library, attached to a Form and called in the On-Error trigger. Your code could look like this:

The answer is you don't because Forms already gets the database error code and database message through the Forms DBMS_ERROR_CODE and DBMS_ERROR_TEXT functions. Error message 'Employee ID Missing'

You receive error message 'Employee ID Missing' while assigning credit card expenses in an Expense Report and then the user is not able to save the Expense Report.
This error message "Employee ID missing" unfortunately will appear when you open some of the old expense reports. These expense reports are consistent and do not have to be changed. The upcoming error message "Employee ID missing" can be ignored.
SAP has corrected this issue and for all new expense reports this error will not appear.
PS: If you have to change one of these old expense reports from business point of view, you can delete and reenter the cost assignment on expense level in order to get rid of this error message.
