Error Message: JBO-33001

I am a beginner of JDeveloper9i and currently following the samples codes provided by OTN. In the Search Form tutorial under JSP Pages and Servlets section, i followed all the instruction as told, setup the database connection, extract the SearchSampleRC2.zip to the right path, build the bc4j.jpr and finally, when i run the ProductInformationView_Browse.jsp under JSP.jpr, an error occured.
The following is part of the error message:
Error Message: JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.JboException, msg=JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file /mypackage1/common/bc4j.xcfg in the classpath
Error Message: JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file /mypackage1/common/bc4j.xcfg in the classpath
oracle.jbo.JboException: JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.JboException, msg=JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file /mypackage1/common/bc4j.xcfg in the classpath
I double checked the path of bc4j.xcfg and found that it is in the correct path as it should be. However, the error is still there. May i know how to solve the problem? Isn't that the configuration is ready-set by default in the sample code? Why is there still problem? By the way, what does it mean by configuration file in the path configuration file /mypackage1/common/bc4j.xcfg in the classpath?
Hope to get the answer ASAP. Thanks!

What I have found to most quickly eliminate this problem is to create a new BC4J JSP in the project where your Search
Form is located. This re-creates the bc4j.xcfg file and this seems to do the trick when I get this error (which is usually
after moving/renaming JSP projects). Simply create a browse form or other JSP which you do not already have in your
project and the wizard will regenerate the configuration file.
Hope this helps,

    SUN SOLARIS 2.7

    DB 9i + patchset 9.0.2
The SAME APPLICATION works right when deployed on this env:
    W2k
    OC4J part of JDEV9iRC2 (9.0.2.0.0)
remote DB 9i + patchset 9.0.2 on SUN SOLARIS
The Application Module is deployed as a Session Bean (BMT),
and I have a jdbc Datasource called jdbc/DeployDBDS.
I have also modified jbo.ejb.txntype from "global" to "local"
because with "global" it doesn't work...
    Anyone can help me?

First you'll want to read this BC4J "HowTo" article on how our persistent collection functionality works so you can decide whether you not you really want to be using it.
    http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev/htdocs/bc4j/bc4j_temp_tables.html
Likely you don't want to be, so this article explains how to avoid having its being used. It's typically a "last resort" feature that saves appserver memory by writing extra query results rows out to persistent storage if you query thousands of rows into memory and start scrolling around.
Down in your stack trace there is the error:
    ORA-600: [19942]
This is a database internal error related to handling CLOB's and BLOB's. I see a few bugs that were reported in versions 8.0.5 but fixed in 8.1.6.
What version of the Oracle database are you using?

Error Message: JBO-25009: Cannot create an object of type:oracle.jbo.domain.Date with value: 31-dic-2099

JDeveloper 9i was connecting to 9i database (localhost) before and now it is not connecting giving IO Exception.
Getting JBO-26061:Error while opening JDBC connection, when run from OC4J.
Should we give any path to jdbc classes12.zip? Does it have anything to do with changing host name; that is the only thing I have done before getting this error.
    Please help!!

Please check the connection details and make sure the password is deployed. You can verify the connection
details by looking at Connections | DataBase node in the Navigator pane.
    1. Also, test your BC4J middlet tier using BC4J Tester. To do that select your Application Module in the BC4J project,
    right click | Test..
    2. Check your BC4J Configuration and make sure it has the right connection information. To do that select your Application Module in the BC4J project,
    right click | Configurations....

  • How to resolve the error message "JBO-25009" in ADF table?

    Hi all,
There is a master detail form in jsff page using adf application. Detail is represented as ADF table. In the adf Table we have 4 primary key, two foreign key from master table.
Type of primary key in master are Big Decimal and String. When I input value in field of detail, we get error message :
"JBO-25009: Cannot create an object of type:java.math.BigDecimal from type:java.lang.String with value:AC".
How to make if I input value in detail table don't show the error message?
Please let me know if you have any solution for this.
    Thanks.

    Hi Rakesh.
I don't try insert String into Big Decimal variable. I have adf table with 5 column and 4 primary key. The type of primary key are: 1Big Decimal and 3 String.
Now, I want to insert data to the table. when I input data to first column (primary key : Big Decimal) is work well and then I want to insert data to second column (primary key : String) with value "AC"
but when I insert, the error message is show "JBO-25009: Cannot create an object of type:java.math.BigDecimal from type:java.lang.String with value:AC".
Why the error message is show when I insert data to second column with type String and I have been input data with String value?
Are the second column is remember of type first column is Big Decimal ?
    Thanks.

Thank you very mutch for your tips.

  • Error Message: JBO-30003: The application pool

    Dear Members,
I've an application that was developed using JDeveloper 3 and BC4J Components. This application currently running on WebSphere Application Server (WAS) 3.5 and Oracle 8i. Now I'm trying to deploy the same on WAS 5.1.x and Oracle 9i on Solaris.
Before deploying the application on Solaris, I tried to deploy on Windows XP and WAS 5.0 Test Server. And I succeeded. Hence I generated .ear file using WebSphere Application Studio Developer.
I'm able to successfully deploy the .ear on WAS 5.1.x. However when I access the application. I'm getting following error.
Error Message: JBO-30003: The application pool, buildjsps_package1_Package1Module, failed to checkout an application module instance.
Error Message: JBO-25222: Unable to create application module.

    Gina,
I would recommend checking out the following HowTo's recently posted on OTN by the JDev Team. They may indicate where your problem is occuring and how to fix it:
Set up your Webserver to run BC4J: http://technet.oracle.com:89/ubb/Forum2/HTML/006397.html
Deploy a BC4J JSP Application on iAS and Tomcat: http://technet.oracle.com:89/ubb/Forum2/HTML/006398.html
How to Deploy Multiple BC4J JSP Web Apps to the same Webserver: http://technet.oracle.com:89/ubb/Forum2/HTML/006726.html
Note, if you are deploying on iAS, the Online Orders tutorial application comes with that release, so you might want to refer to the last HowTo to make sure your webserver is set up to handle multiple apps, even if one if them isn't yours!

  • Error message for a JSP-BC4 Application

    Hi,
I have created a simple BC4J-JSP application using the wizards in Jdeveloper. I used the emp-dept table from scott.
Then I created a .ear file and uploaded that to an OC4J instance using ias 902 enterprise manager. The main.html comes normally. But when I am trying to click on the left hand navigator the following error message is coming:

    Thanks,
    Ritendra.

I think too, that is a time machine problem.
I have 4 volume partions (3 hard disk) at this mac. I use only the time machine as backup system. Only one. Before I install Snow Leopard I use the latest MacOS X 10.5.8. Always the newest version of MacOS.
Perhaps I describe it: Under 10.5.8 I use the time machine backup volume at an external firewire drive, always the same. I switch off this firewire drive often. In this case (the drive isn`t connect) the icon of this partition"Pro10.4" was changed to the time machine volume icon, but the time machine does nothing at this partition.
After the installation of 10.6 I cannot access to this "Pro10.4" volume. I get the same error message if I want to open the external drive volume of my time machine backup. There is no problems with my other two partition. Of course my old V10.5.8 is at one of this partition. If I start my mac from a other partition (time machine is off), I have no problem with all partitions.
I change the name of "Pro10.4", but nothing is changing. The time machine protect the backup volume under V10.6. Unfortunately it choose an other partition, if it don`t find my external drive. How can I reset this state of my "Pro10.4"?
    Thanks
    Uwe

  • JBO-33001 bc4j.xcfg WHAT A FRUSTRATION !!

I have been browsing this site in order to find some solution this ever pending problem.
I am using the JDEV 9.0.2.827 on linux with J2SDK 1.3.1.
I have created one project for BC4J and one project for JSP client.
Both of them using the wizards.
I have compiled and build the BC4J project.
The Client JSP has the lib reference to the BC4J project correctly, also the deployment has it checked in the "WEB-INF/lib"
When I run the Client JSP projekt from the IDE using internal OC4J got the error:
"Error Message: JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file /mypackage/common/ bc4j.xcfg in the classpath"
Could somebody Pleazzz to give some hint how to do it !!!
I do not understand why Oracle makes such a product that seems to miss logical automation and the end user has to hassel with something which should be REALLY automated or EXPLAINED in the documentation?
An other example is the HOWTO deploy BC4J to JBOSS documentation. If I do the WAR deployment as suggested in the HOWTO got the same error. Is this the way how ORACLE understands the concept of quality?
Bestr regards and thanx in advance...

When you get this error, it means that your BC4J application classes are not accessible to your client project. Your only option is to make sure that the JSP client runtime has the BC4J application in it's classpath. Here are some observations:
    1. If your client runs fine within JDeveloper, your deployment environment is not correct and you need to make sure that your BC4J application classes can be accessed by your client. This may vary depending on which web or application server you are running on.
    2. If your application doesn't run inside of JDeveloper, you have a problem with your project configuration. Here is a simple way to fix this:
    - look at your BC4J project and copy the output path for your classes. Let's say it 'c:\jdev\myclasses1'
    - create a Jdeveloper library definition that includes 'c:\jdev\myclasses1' and add it to your client project. this will make the middle-tier classes available to your client.
    - when you create a WAR deployment profile for your client, make sure the library you created is also part of the deployment set of classes.

  • How to solve JBO-33001

I am trying the 'Edit Record HR' sample on Oracle JDeveloper samples codes page.
I have download the code and set two connections (hr_conn and oe_conn) to point to my 8i database. The connections run fine.
I have open the EditRecordhr.jws workspace and compile projects (bc4j.jpr and jsps.jpr) successfully.
Now, when i try to run any of the jsp file, i get "Error Message: JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file /hr/common/bc4j.xcfg in the classpath". This error seemed not to be documentated in the online help documentation.
    Did i miss something ?
    Please, help.
    Thanks.

I have the same problem and found many posts that suggest the same thing:
    EnableTokenValidation = false
However, I would appreciate if someone can get into details what that really means. Even better, any pointer to appropriate documentation would help!

  • JBO-26000: a generic exception error message

    Hi,
I followed every step of the single table DBServlet tutorial, and the recommended deployment procedure as per the guide.
I'm getting the following error when I run the DBServlet1 from Java Web Server 2.0
"JBO-26000: a generic exception occured during loading customisations".
The Servlet first loads successfully with a login screen. When I click on connect, I get the error.

Thank you laura, but i see the following messages on the console of the running resin proc.:
    Loading from CLASSPATH pedido_PedModule.properties
    *******pedido_PedModule - Session timeout is:300
    Loading from CLASSPATH inven_InvModule.properties
    Loading from CLASSPATH factura_FacModule.properties
Loading from CLASSPATH clientes_ApModCliente.propertiesnote that i said that my appmodule gets instaciated (i have a print in the constructor of my appmodule), the problem arises after:
Error Message: JBO-26000: A Generic exception occurred during loading Customizations.
Note that I've deployed this application Ok to the Apache Tomcat engine...
Can you tell me what was the Framework trying to load, Please?
    Thank you
