Error message Microsoft
After successfully I tunes for several months I can no longer connect. After clicking on the Itunes Icon I get a message that says: I tunes has encountered problems and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience. It then asks if I wanted to send an error message to microsoft. The only thing that has changed in recent weeks is the installation of a wireless router. I have unplugged it, gone back to the old configuration and still get the message. Any help
Solved. After an hour on phone with Apple Care. Turns out the problem is with Quick Time Player. Had to go to www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.html After downloading the itunes worked again. I guess the two are interlinked. If you have similar problem that I had, try to open Quick Time. If you cant and get an error message you probably had same problem I did

I am running windows xp. Trying to download latest version of iTunes and get error message: Microsoft Visual C Rundtime Library. Runtime Error. Program:C\ProgramFiles\iTunes\iTunes.exe. R6034 An appliction has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the appliction's support team for more information.
2nd/ message: iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7(Windows error 1114)
I have removed iTunes serveral time and tried to reinstall many times and get the same results noted above.

I had Itunes on my PC (Windows Vista, 64-bit) and it worked fine with my Ipod. I purchased an Ipod nano, and it was not recognized by Itunes and I was instructed to un-install and re-install. After un-installing Itunes, I am unable to reinstall. I receive the following error message: microsoft.VC80.CRT.type="win32".version="8.050727.6195".publickeytoken="1fc8b3b 9a1e18e3b".processorarchitecture="x86". HRESULT: 0x80070424.
I am also having trouble with Windows Updates, and receive the same error message: 80070424. Perhaps the 2 issues are related?

A broken Windows Modules Installer then. It's a bit of an involved fix getting past it, but we've had success here with it in the past.
First, I'd strongly suggest setting up a system restore point.
Now try the Scenario III treatment from the following document:
Windows Update Error 80070424 in Vista
Head back into Windows Update and attempt to get updates again. If they still fail, this time with an 8000FFFF error code, try the following Microsoft document:
Windows Update error 8000FFFF
If you get Windows Updates flowing again, stock up on any you're behind on (restarting the PC when requested to do so). This may take some time and may have to be done in several batches, depending on how far you've fallen behind. Basically, keep going back to Windows Update until it stops offering you new updates.
After the updates have been installed, restart the PC one more time (in order to ensure that any pending installs requiring a restart have been resolved).
Now try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the 0x80070424 this time? -

I am running a system that is not quite 6 months old, which is loaded with Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit.
The error message that I get is as follows: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. Runtime error! Program C:\windows\Explorer.exe. This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the

Once I respond to that message, I get a message that says "Windows Explorer has stopped working. Then I get "Windows Explorer is re-starting"
I don't know if the next event is related - today, immediately after getting the message above, I got a pop-up that said "An update to Adobe Flash Player is available" - and I am given the option of installing it or not. Today, I did not install
the update - although I recall having accepted this update in the past (again, I don't know if the two situations always occur together).
Is there some help I can be provided to correct this problem? I have looked at several related topics in this database, but have not found anything that seems to directly relate to my question.

The error messages were coming up every 5 SECONDS and were impossible to deal with. They stated there was a 'Blame Module' which wasEntourageCore
I have been unable to find any idea how to resolve this.
Please can anyone describe what they have done to sort this?
I am using MS Office 2008.
Turning off the sync between the two calendars was not the answer, as the messages continued. So I have temporarily disabled the sync between iCal/Entourage and my iPad. This has prevented the error message, but obviously means I must enter diary dates manually on iPad which is the whole point of the sync!

I don't associate that one with the type of breakage to the Windows Modules Installer that I was checking for with preisslerk's 80070424, Michelle.
Doublechecking. Were you getting an HRESULT: 0x80070424 error code on your error message, or some different alphanumeric string? If it was a different alphanumeric string (like say an 0x8007000B), let us know which one you are getting. -
When running Mozilla Foxfire we get the error message listed in question. It asks: For information on how your program can cause assertion failure, see Visual C++ documentation on asserts (Pree retry to debug the application - JLT must be enabled. On this page, please click the "SP40669 File Download" under the "See also" section. Once you do this, a patch will download. When finished downloading, double-click it to install it on the computer. Afterward, a level 3 uninstall of the printer software is required. This will remove any spare HP software from the unsuccessful installation attempts. Here are some instructions on performing a level 3 uninstall:
a) On your keyboard, press the Windows key and the letter "R" key to open the Run windows. In the search bar type %temp% and hit enter.
b) Locate the correct folder starting with "7z" (the correct folder contains "Util" and "CCC" folders).
