Matt is correct. As indicated by this document, cRIO-900x targets do not support SSE2. The "No VIs to download from application" message during attemtped remote debug AND the fact that my startup.rtexe would not run were both related to this.
It's important to note that cRIO-9004 (and maybe others) does not support remote debugging even if you disable SSE2 and connect to the startup.rtexe. If I connect to a debuggable EXE on the cRIO and attempt to place a probe, the VI locks up. If I then abort that VI, reconnect to the target, place a probe, and wait, LabVIEW and Windows lock up. Recourse = bring up Task Manager and end the LabVIEW.exe process.
Takeaways:
(1) Disable SSE2 optimization when deploying to cRIO-900x targets.
(2) Don't attempt remote debugging on a cRIO-9004 even though LabVIEW allows the connection.

Error message when trying to download from Mac App Store
When I try to download an app in the Mac App Store I get an error message: "We could not complete your purchase. Error Unknown." Sometimes it says: "There is an error in the Mac App Store". This has been going on for a couple of days now. I have tried signing out of the Mac App Store, logging out of my User Account, and then signing back in, as has been suggested in other threads. But that did not work.
Suggestions? Here is an update and more information: I actually have two MBP's. One is a mid-2009 model and one is a new, mid-2012. I transferred files from the mid-2009 to the mid-2012, but I use both computers frequently. This problem only occurs on the mid-2009 and not on the mid-2012. I have authorized both computers.

If I am trying to attach a pic to a message or email, I get the error "photo can't be downloaded from icloud photo library, please try later." If I connect to wifi it works just fine. If it's truly "storing" a low res version on my phone it shouldn't have to download anything. I can understand the uploading of pics to library only being done over wifi, but there are plenty of times I'm going to want to send a pic when I'm not going to be near a network. It does work occasionally, but the norm is that I get the error.
Hi Ed,
There is issue with Windows 7 when you send the email. It gives the message you specified.
But you can always use Adobe Email client to send your images. In this workflow also you would get the error message but you can ignore it and continue to send the mail.
Thanks,

From an iPhone 5, I receive the following error message when trying to download content from a radio show app: "Alert Could not parse feed." How do I fix?
Since you're using a 3rd party app, suggest contacting the app developer or looking at their support site for help.

i get an error message when trying to download apps from the app store. "Safari can not oprn the page because the address is invalid"
You can't use Safari to download iPad apps. Only use iTunes/App Store.

Hi guys,
I need some everytime I try to download a song purchase from itunes I get the error message. 'Unable to Download Song' could not be downloaded at this time. I cannot even sync with itunes on the PC.
Kind regards
IanOne correction, from the icloud I was not able to listed to the entire song. So when you purchased the song if it wasn't downloaded to your library, chances are you have lost your opportunity to listen to it.

ChrisMy question, which I thought was obvious, was has Apple got a workaround for this obvious error in their IOS email client. It hasn't been fixed and it's about time it was.
The fact that this problem :-
1. Manifests itself on both iPhone and iPad devices
2. Does not show up on Windows clients (Outlook 2007, Outlook 2010, Windows Live Mail, Becky 2)
3. Does not show up on web clients (GMail, Pobox, Hotmail)
4. Does not show up on MacOS clients
5. Does not show up on Android clients (Mail, Touchdown)
Leads to the inevitable conclusion that the problem is not device related (so I agree with you there) but is client / platform (Mail or IOS) related. The fact that more research on this forum shows that this issue has been around since IOS 1.0 days corroborates this conclusion.
I do not agree with you presumption that the issue is with the message, all the evidence above refutes this.
So here I am on the official Apple discussion forum seeking enlightenment and assistance from the combined knowledge of the assembled technorati. And quite frankly your terse, bad tempered message falls way short. If there were an "unhelpful answer" button on your message I would have pushed it. -
to download an App the 3 security questions are required. But at the end, apple is not able to complete the task and gives an error message. No more downloads are possible. What can I do?
Very Important, how much Free Space is on your Hard Drive first of all? Click on the Macintosh HD on the Desktop, then do a Get Info on it.
Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.

We are having this issue across multiple IOS devices ranging from IOS version 5.x up to the latest 6.1.2. Many (not all) emails sent to the devices are unreadable and simply state: "This message has not been downloaded from the server". Microsoft believes this to be some sort of bug with the IOS devices in the way they are handling the SSL encryption.
Facts:
- Devices are connected to an Exchange 2010 SP1 Rollup 6 via Active Sync (No POP3, IMAP or SMTP)
- issue occurs on multiple IOS devices within the organization ranging from IOS 5.x up to the latest 6.1.2
- Issue occurs on both external cellular data and internal wireless networks
- Not all emails sent to the devices result in the error, but issue does tend to occur more frequently from certain senders/domains
- Using the same user account on an android phone does not result in an issue (even when receiving the exactly same email that has been sent to the IOS devices)
- Closing mail app / rebooting device does not resolve the issue
- Doesn't appear to matter what the mesage format is (can be html, plaintext, etc)
- Spent nearly 7 hours with Microsoft going through the Exchange server configuration and looking for possible causes. None have been found and all testing indicates things are setup correctly.
- This is not a case of Issue 2.3 listed here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2563324 (verified by Microsoft Support)
- If we disable SSL on the IOS device and connect via plain HTTP the messages are displayed correctly!
- If we use a different SSL certificate, the issue still occurs - so not a problem with the original cert.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what would cause this? Does the ISO devices have any sort of log that would indicate why it's reporting this error? The current error is pretty unhelpful.GFI Have a solution for this problem. It is to do with iOS implementation of reading the message headers when SPF compliance modifications are made by GFI.

While downloading an album in from the Store, one song was interrupted. I have followed the instructions from apple about resuming the download, but every time I do so the same error message appears saying the download was interrupted. I am having no connection problems, have rebooted my computer, downloaded the lates version of iTunes, etc., yet nothing changes. Has anyone else experienced this, and are there any workarounds. Sadly the problem hit on one of the best songs of the album.
I had the same problem so (assuming under the Purchased items in the Store you have a song stuck at 'Downloading'):
I went to Music, then Artists.
From there I chose the album.
The song that failed to download had the cloud symbol next to it.
I clicked the cloud symbol and the song completed the download for me.
(Please note this was in iTunes for Windows - I expect it to be similar in iTunes for Apple)

Get download error message - but can open download ok
When I download a file from the Internet (using Firefox 3.6.8) I always get the same error message: /Users/Home Folder/Downloads/example subject 7.pdf could not be opened, because an unknown error occurred.
Try saving to disk first and then opening the file.
Yet when I open up the Downloads Folder I can open the file just fine.
Any ideas of how I can fix this glitch?
Thanks,
DantyIf emptying the Firefox cache doesn't work, you may try to find out
what application is set by Firefox to handle the .PDF component
of the process whereby the Firefox browser has another app open
the .PDF. You can choose within the Firefox preference settings to
have certain apps (listed in the Firefox settings) handle certain kinds
of files. By default, some kinds of the common ones formerly dealt
with automatically by older versions of Firefox are not set to do any.
Perhaps a review of Firefox' own settings in its applications, may help.
It may be something else. The browser version reflects new changes.
Since I've always used the option, for the sake of security, for .PDF
and other items to download first and then I can choose to see if I
want to open them, this kind of issue has not been a problem for me.
The 'Clear Recent History' in my Firefox 3.6.8 browser also clears the
Cache and most other items. I use it manually as well as have it set
to clear many things when I close or quit the browser. That may help.
{There also could be a matter in how the Firefox app was installed; if it
were installed via another user account, or if there is another issue in
this matter not directly related to the browser; but in the user accounts.}
I wonder what is selected by your browser as the default handling agent
of the .PDF files. And if you have Preview set, or if you have Acrobat
(reader) also available to the System, as a choice to open those files.
The ability to choose or not choose may be what is messed up. And in
the case of a browser, this choice is done within Firefox browser settings.
There are support files, not where your Firefox bookmarks are kept, that
could be corrupted; and if you totally uninstall Firefox except for your
bookmarks files, then re-install, (and check Firefox apps pref settings)
it may be the final means of correcting such an issue, if it persists.
Once an item has gone through the Download manager, it would be
available to the Finder to handle the file with whatever defaults you
or the system have set to open or read such content.
I've never had that kind of error message, though; even when the more
recent Firefox browser's apps settings were not set to use a chosen app
to perform a function in unison with the browser's newer listed capabilities.
So, that is an odd matter to behold... Could there be a need to perform
general routine and preventative system maintenance on the OS X?
Good luck & happy computing!
