This sounds like a problem with the site you are trying to post to - contact their support team or forum - It is not an iPhoto error

  • Unable to update itunes 11.1, getting error message:(NSURLErrorDomain error -1102.)(102)

Is anyone else having this issue?

This error fixed itself for me. I didn't do anything so maybe you just need to wait a little bit. Could be Apple getting swamped and you just can't get through. Just a guess.

Post subject: NSURLErrorDomain error -1100 in OS X 10.8
If you check for software updates using the App Store in OS X 10.8 and get "NSURLErrorDomain error -1100" the problem may be with your Software Update preferences. This is particularly likely if you were using a custom Apple Software Update server. To solve the problem, quit the App Store, move the following two files (if present) to the trash, restart, and only then rerun App Store updates:
    /Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
    /Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist.lockfile

I was recently trying to upgrade to mountain lion through the app store.  I have unreliable Internet from a cable company whom I will not name, but we all know who they are.  My Internet dropped while downloading the upgrade.  Once I went through the notorious unplug the modem/router and plugged it back in to gain Internet connectivity again, I could not resume. No matter what I did, the app store kept displaying "an error occurred." I am hoping that those with the same issue read this first to save them hours of skimming through the Internet to find a solution.  Here are the steps to take:
    1. Make sure you have reestablished Internet connection
    2. Chances are you got frustrated when you tried to resume/unpause the download and clicked the "X" to the left.  If so, select the "Store" drop-down menu from the App Store and select "View My Account." There should be an option to unhide your purchase.  You know what to do.
    3. There is also an option to  reset all warnings for buying and downloading under "View My Account." Do this, click "Done," sign out of the App Store and quit the App Store.
    4. Open the Preferences in safari and select Privacy.  Select "Remove All Website Data."  Just do it.
    5. Launch the app store and sign in.
    6. Now, if you "Check for Unfinished Downloads" everything works peachy.
I hope this helps.  Not much I can do for your Internet connection though.

  • Error update - (NSURLErrorDomain, erro -1100.)

    Good evening,
Recently I have had problems in performing the update in the App Store, always giving the following error message: (NSURLErrorDomain, error -1100.).
    Someone can help me?
    Thank you,
    César Costa

    Few are having this problem.
It is mentioned as a "Apple server" related issue.
Hope it is resolved  soon. So be patient.

  • Huh?:  "Error processing extended attributes"

I just tried upgrading to the new versions of Quicktime and iTunes through "Software Update," and at the end of each one I got the following error messages: "NSURLErrorDomain -1005" (this was the message in the "Software Update" window) and "imac cp: error processing extended attributes: operation not permitted" (this was on the System log). Before this I have had no trouble upgrading new releases from Apple (like the Java update). The only thing I have done recently that may be causing a problem is that I downloaded OnyX system maintainence software and used it to run the daily, weekly, and monthly Apple maintainence scripts (the ones that are supposed to run early in the morning). Could that be causing the problem? Does anyone know why all of a sudden I would start having problems downloading Apple software updates? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A server for Software Update to connect from my node is up and running now. I confirmed it with "Software Update..." in the Apple menu and followed by two utilities as below.
Netstat menu (Network Utility) with "Display the state of all current socket connections":
    Active Internet connections (including servers)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address (state)
    tcp4 0 0 192.168.1.2.51904 swscan.apple.com.http ESTABLISHED
A "netstat -an" command execution from Terminal application:
    tcp4 0 0 192.168.1.2.51904 17.250.248.95.80 ESTABLISHED
Verify whether your ISP's DNS server is all right. Type "dig" and press a return key to see whether any odd events are returned.
But if it was a connection problem, would both downloads have completed up to the very end and then terminated?
That is strange. It seems that the server cannot verify some consistency on the filesystem on your client machine. I'll figure it out for some possible reasons after I read your posts.

  • Sahring iPhoto to facebook error

Having trouble sharing pictures from iPhoto to Facebook.  Get error message NSURLErrorDomain error -1.
This occurs in iPhoto 9.4.2, don't recall this problem before the update.
Happens on both our Macs to two different Facebook accounts.
    Twitter share works fine
    Any ideas?

Have you looked at the topics at the right under More Like This?
The workaround that works is to export the photos out of iPhoto to a folder on the Desktop and upload to FB with your browser.
Some users have reported that upgrading to 10.8.3 fixed it for them.  Since you're already there you might try downloading and applying the OS X Mountain Lion Update v10.8.3 (Combo) again.

  • Cannot Get Updates from App Store Error -1012

Out of nowhere I suddenly got this error message "NSURLErrorDomain error -1012" on my iMac and MacBook Air this morning when checking for updates on Mac App store, last mavericks update was 22nd May, everything was fine a few days ago.
Anyone else had this, signing in and out of app store makes no difference or a restart. Help please.

Quit the App Store if it's open.
Now open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
    Type or copy/paste:    ~/Library/Cookies
Click Go then move the com.apple.appstore.cookies and com.apple.appstore.plist files from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
    Type or copy/paste:    ~/Library/Preferences
Click Go then move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
    Try the App Store.
