Error message occurs during CS5 Master Collection Trial Install.

I downloaded the trial version of CS5 Master Collection from the Adobe site. Everything works until after I enter my password to start installation an error message comes up saying:
The Setup encountered and error(-1) during install. Please restart the machine and try again.
I've done that and it still shows the same message! What do I do?

Since CS5 is from 4+ years before the Cloud, this is not the right forum... but I don't really know a correct forum for that very old product

CS5 Master Collection trial installs without Acrobat on 64-bit?

Hi guys,
This is a bit weird but I installed Creative Suite 5 Master Collection (trial) the other day on my PC (newly re-installed with Windows 7 64-bit) and for some reason there is no trace of Acrobat!
I Googled this yeaterday and found a few other people with the same problem (but cannot seem to find them today). Any ideas why this might be the case?

Before I invested in CS5 I too downloaded the trial on Mac and on PC platforms. I think I remember that part of the stipulation of the trial software was that not all applications will be included and/or fully functional, Acrobat being one of them since you can probably download a trial of Acrobat separately and since Adobe Reader is free. Try to download it separately. Acrobat is the same version 9 that it has been since CS4 which might also be a reason it is not included in the download of the CS5 trial software.

I was wondering if there are any differences from downloading the trial version of cs5 master collection vs getting the adobe cs5 physical package? excluding manuals and media.
Specifically are you getting all the software in both options?

Oh the trials page Adobe has this in fine print:
*The trial version of Acrobat 9 Pro (Windows only) is available separately for download or with your trial DVD set. A trial version of Acrobat 9 Pro for Mac OS is currently not available. However, the full version of Acrobat 9 Pro for Mac OS is included in the full version of Master Collection available for purchase. Encore CS5 is not available as a trial. Encore CS5 will be installed as part of the trial for Creative Suite 5 Master Collection but will not be available for use until you purchase. The trial versions of After Effects CS5, Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, and Soundbooth CS5 do not include some features that depend on software licensed from parties other than Adobe. For example, some codecs for encoding MPEG formats are available only with the full version of this product.

CS5 master collection trial with serial number!

So i bought CS5 MC and i have the download one. Its not working right. So i was wondering....if i downloaded the trial and just put in the serial code will i still get everything or will i just get the trial version with stuff missing?

It's not working right is hardly giving us anything to go on.
What I can tell you is that the demo is fully functional and adding the serial number to license it won't fix anything that's broken.

Error When Trying To Download CS5 Master Collection

When I try to Download the CS5 Master Collection Trial, using the downloader provided it only downloads the .exe file but the compressed file is not downloaded. It says calculating time 0bytes out of 276bytes transfer.
If i try to directly download the file i get this error
Access denied due to security policy violation
Reject ID: 4bdb4c37-27-14010a0a-7b6
Any clue what is causing this?
I can download any other suite just fine.

CS5 Master Collection Fails to Initialize

Hi,
I am trying to install CS5 Master Collection trial on Mac OSX 10.6.3 but it fails as soon as I double click "Installer.app". I message box pops up saying "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem." Here is my log file:

Loading CS5 Master Collection onto new Macbook Pro with no DVD drive

I have a complete, legitimate, registered version of CS5 Master Collection. I also have a new Macbook Pro with no DVD drive. I have lost the disk, but have the box and confirmation email when I registered the product, with the key code. This product cost alot of money and I really need to get it onto my new machine. Can I do this without having the additional cost of a new DVD drive? I already paid for and own the software with keys so it's not like I'm trying to bend anything or do it for free. Any advice would be appreciated thank you.

Launch the trial and enter your serial number to license it.

CS5 Master Collection Mac - Where's Acrobat Pro

I downloaded the CS5 Master Collection trial for the Mac, which doesn't have Acrobat Pro in the Trial.
I purchased the license, but Acrobat Pro is still nowhere to be found.
Do I have to download it separately and enter the code again?
(Are there any other MIA programs that I need to be aware of?)

Under this address, CC has been purchased in July 21st, 2014, that is the reason it is not allowing further purchase as under one Adobe ID, only one subscription of CC( Individual, single app, Team) can be activated & used.

I've tried to install the Master Collection trial, and I manage to install everything except After Effects.

Error occurs during Asset Master Record Creation.

Hello SAP Gurus,
The error occurs during asset master record creation.
Our fiscal year variant is Z6 (July to June). The asset was acquired in June 15 (previous fiscal year) but was only set up on July 30 (this fiscal year) . When we put the depreciation start date as 15 June the error appeared. While saving the Asset master we are getting below error.
We tried the same with Post Capitalization of Asset (ABNAN) there also we are getting same error.

Hi,
have you generated the period controls properly? If not, the error is raised correctly by the system.
To generate period controls go to:
IMG Asset Accounting -> Depreciation -> Valuation Methods -> Period Control -> Generate Period Controls / or you can use OA84

CS5 Master Collection - installation error

I reinstalled my mac and now trying to install my old adobe software to Yosemite. I got CS5 master collection (now downloaded the installer from Adobe website) but after asking password, (which the installation accepts) it gives an error message: Asennusohjelman tietokannassa havaittiin epäyhtenäisyys.
